A tire pressure monitoring system and tire pressure detector setting apparatus for tractor-trailer are disclosed. The tractor-trailer has a tractor and a trailer having a plurality of wheels, respectively. The tire pressure monitoring system includes a plurality of tire pressure detectors and a monitoring device. The tire pressure detectors are disposed on each of the wheels, detecting the tire pressure status of each wheel and generating a tire pressure information. Each tire pressure detector has a wheel code corresponding to one of the wheels, respectively. The monitoring device is disposed on the tractor for receiving the tire pressure information and the wheel codes of the corresponding tire pressure detector. When the tire pressure information and the wheel code are transmitted to the monitoring device, the monitoring device accurately monitors the tire pressure status of each wheel.

A system (1) for the management of data pertaining to a wheel service comprises: a database (2) including, for each tyre of a plurality of tyres, a tyre identification code; at least one tyre measurement parameter representing a physical quantity linked to the tyre or to the use thereof, and a related time mark, which indicates the time the tyre measurement parameter was captured; a knowledge dataset (3) containing reference data; a processor (4) having access to the database (2) and to the knowledge dataset (3) and programmed to process the at least one tyre measurement parameter and the reference data and to generate derived data.
System for Managing Tire Pressures of a Vehicle
A tire management system is provided for automatically inflating and deflating tires of a vehicle. The system comprises: couplings, for releasably coupling to each of the tires of the vehicle; an inlet, for receiving compressed gas, the inlet selectively couplable to the couplings for inflating the tires of the vehicle; an outlet, selectively couplable to the couplings for deflating the tires of the vehicle; and a controller, configured to receive a desired target pressure for one or more of the tires and automatically couple the inlet or outlet to the one or more tires to achieve the target pressure. The tires are grouped into two or more groups of tires, and wherein the controller is configurable to inflate and/or deflate the tires according to the groups of tires.
Method and system for determining tire sensor position on a vehicle using phase shift based ranging
A system and method include, among other things, providing at least one vehicle transceiver and at least one tire information sensor for a tire on a vehicle and wirelessly communicating between the at least one vehicle transceiver and the at least one tire information sensor via a signal. A phase shift in the signal is determined and a physical distance between the at least one vehicle transceiver and the at least one tire information sensor is determined based on the phase shift. A position of the at least one tire information sensor within the vehicle is then determined based on the physical distance.

DUPLEX BLUETOOTH TRANSMISSION TIRE PRESSURE DETECTING SYSTEM AND THE METHOD
A duplex Bluetooth transmission tire pressure system and a method thereof are provided. The system includes a Bluetooth tire pressure detector and a transceiver host, and the two can duplex Bluetooth transmit to each other, so that to complete locating and tire condition detecting. The transceiver host controls a locating program that controls the Bluetooth tire pressure detector to start or stop and limit the transmitting packet of the tire condition program of the Bluetooth tire pressure detector.

A tire-pressure monitoring system (TPMS) sensor module comprises a pressure sensor, which is configured to measure an internal air pressure of a tire and to generate tire pressure information, an additional, optional sensor, a transmitting/receiving device, a microcontroller unit which is configured to operate the TPMS sensor module in one of three or more different operating modes, wherein a first operating mode includes an inactive standby state, a second operating mode includes a measurement of a physical parameter using the pressure sensor and/or the additional sensor and reading the pressure sensor and/or the additional sensor using the microcontroller unit, and a third operating mode, and wherein in the second operating mode the microcontroller unit is configured to initiate a changeover from the second operating mode to the third operating mode when reading out a specified measurement event.

A tyre monitoring device configured to be mounted on a wheel is described. The device includes a pressure sensor for sensing an inflation pressure of a tyre on the wheel; a wireless communication interface configured to receive data indicative of a command to indicate tyre pressure; a storage storing a predetermined pressure value; an indicator configured to provide a first indication and a second indication, wherein the first indication is different from the second indication; and a processing system configured to operate the indicator to provide the first indication or the second indication responsive to receipt of the command to indicate tyre pressure, and based at least in part on the inflation pressure and the predetermined pressure value.

Methods, systems, apparatuses, and computer program products for persistent alarm transmissions associated with a vehicle mounted wireless sensor device are disclosed. In a particular embodiment, persistent alarm transmission includes a vehicle mounted wireless sensor device monitoring one or more operational parameters of a vehicle and detecting that the one or more operational parameters violates a configurable threshold that is configured by another device. In response to detecting that the one or more operational parameters violates the configurable threshold, the vehicle mounted wireless sensor device persistently transmits an alarm message.

The transmitter includes an obtaining section configured to obtain a detection result of the sensor, a generating section configured to generate the data including the detection result of the sensor, a transmitting section configured to transmit the data generated by the generating section, and an organic power generation element that is a power source of the transmitter. The organic power generation element is configured to generate power through a chemical reaction with organic matter contained in a fuel solution accommodated in the tire.
