A computer-implemented method of predicting tire pressure of a tire of an aircraft, the method including obtaining first data indicative of an inflation pressure of the tire, obtaining second data indicative of a brake temperature of a brake associated with an aircraft wheel to which the tire is mounted, obtaining third data indicative of a gas temperature of the tire, and obtaining fourth data indicative of one or more predicted operational conditions of the aircraft during a future time period. The method includes determining, based at least in part on the first, second, third and fourth data, predicted tire pressure characteristics of the tire during the future time period.

A tire pressure detection system with separated antennas includes a detection end 10 and a receiving end. The detection end includes tire pressure detectors to detect the tire to obtain the tire status. The tire pressure detectors outputs the tire status, and the information of the tire status is output in the form of radio frequency signal and Bluetooth signal to the tire-pressure receiving device, the audio-video device and the mobile device so that the users are acknowledged about the information of the tire including tire pressure and tire temperature.
Methods for detecting and locating a thermal anomaly for a mounted assembly of a vehicle
A method for detecting a thermal anomaly during running of a tire-wheel assembly (3) of a vehicle (1) equipped with a mounting wheel (5) on which a pneumatic tire is mounted comprises the steps of measuring the internal pressure (P) and temperature (T) of the tire-wheel assembly (3) using a sensor (9) attached to the mounting wheel (5), calculating a monitoring ratio which is a function of the measured pressure and of the measured temperature, repeating the preceding steps and tracking the evolution in the value of the monitoring ratio in order to determine a thermal anomaly.
Method and Apparatus for Determining the Condition of a Vehicle Tire
An apparatus includes a device that is configured to determine a condition of a first tire of a vehicle. At a current point in time the device is also configured to determine, on a basis of pressure measured values with respect to a tire pressure of the first tire at the current point in time and at a preceding point in time, a rate of change of the tire pressure of the first tire. At a current point in time the device is also configured to compare the determined rate of change to a reference rate. At a current point in time the device is also configured to determine the condition of the first tire on the basis of the comparison.
Tire Pressure Detector
A tire pressure detector includes: an air pressure detector to repeatedly detect air pressure of a target tire; a transmission device to wirelessly transmit air pressure information about the air pressure detected by the air pressure detector; a reception device to receive the air pressure information transmitted by the transmission device; an estimation device to calculate, when the reception device receives the air pressure information on the identical target tire a plurality of times, an estimated air pressure based on a plurality of pieces of the latest air pressure information received by the reception device, the estimated air pressure being an estimated value of the air pressure at current time; and an alarm generation device to raise an alarm when the estimated air pressure becomes equal to or less than a specified threshold.

Apparatus and method for determining aircraft tire pressure
An apparatus configured to determine the pressure of an aircraft tire at a reference temperature. The apparatus includes a processing system configured to: obtain a measured tire pressure and a measured temperature associated with the measured tire pressure; and determine a tire pressure at the reference temperature by adjusting the measured tire pressure using a predetermined temperature characteristic, a square root of the measured temperature and a square root of the reference temperature. The predetermined temperature characteristic is a gradient of the relationship between square root of temperature and tire pressure.
Effective Tire Pressure Sensing System and Method
A real time tire pressure sensing system includes sensors to collectively generate signals corresponding to a contained tire air temperature, a contained inflation pressure, and an ambient temperature associated with a tire mounted on a vehicle. A processor determines an effective tire inflation pressure based on the generated signals and further at least on a calculated moving average of the ambient temperature (e.g., over a defined time period such as 24 hours) and generates real time notifications associated with the determined effective tire inflation pressure to specified user interfaces. At least one sensor may be an inflation pressure sensor configured to generate event-based signals corresponding to detected changes per unit pressure. The processor may further generate real time feedback control signals to an automatic tire inflation device, based on the determined effective tire inflation pressure, or enable and prompt manual control of the tire inflation device via the user interface.
