Disposable tire gripping system
A plurality of disposable single fabricated piece tire grips with friction contact surfaces and cable ties ratchet mounted on wheel contact surfaces of tires mounted on wheels with openings allowing the grips to secure there through for easy application and fits all tires regardless of size.
Wheel traction device
A wheel traction device may include, but is not limited to, a linkage configured to at least partially encircle a ground-engaging surface of a vehicle wheel; and an adjustment assembly coupled to the linkage, the adjustment assembly configured to apply a tension to the linkage. Further, a wheel traction device may include, but is not limited to, a linkage configured to at least partially encircle a ground-engaging surface of a vehicle wheel; and a traction segment configured to be retained against the ground-engaging surface of the vehicle wheel by the linkage.
Traction Enhancing Device
A traction enhancing device for a vehicle includes a plurality of spikes that is coupled to and extends from an outer face of a panel that is bendable and configured to conform to a circumference of a tire. A plurality of first straps and a plurality of second straps are coupled to a first edge and a second edge of the panel, respectively. Each second strap and an associated first strap are configured to loopedly position around the tire and a rim of a vehicle. Each of a plurality of first couplers and each of a plurality of second couplers are coupled to a respective first strap and a respective second strap, respectively, distal from the panel. Each second coupler is positioned to couple to an associated first coupler to couple the panel to the tire, positioning the spikes to insert into a substrate to increase traction of the tire.
BICYCLE TRACTION LOOPS
Illustrative embodiments of systems and methods for improving traction of a bicycle are disclosed. The invention described are traction loops comprised of a strap having projections extending therefrom. The loops are fastened around the width of the tire using a fastening device. The loops may be easily applied and removed to provide the rider with flexibility to use the loops on slicker surfaces and remove them when riding on drier surfaces. The loops may further be easily stored on the bike when not in use.
DISPOSABLE TIRE GRIPPING SYSTEM
A plurality of disposable single fabricated piece tire grips with friction contact surfaces and cable ties ratchet mounted on wheel contact surfaces of tires mounted on wheel hubs with openings allowing the grips to secure there through for easy application and fits all tires regardless of size.
QUICK CONNECT TIRE TRACTION DEVICE
A quick connect tire traction system for providing traction to a tire on a vehicle wheel. The quick connect tire traction system includes an expansion strap coupled to one or more tire traction devices, an inner support coupled to the expansion strap with a rotation member, an outer extension telescopically coupled to the inner support, a rim mount coupled to the outer extension, the rim mount configured to receive one or more locking pins, and an elastic element extending between the inner support and the outer extension. The elastic element is adapted to bias the tire traction devices toward the rim mount thereby securing the quick connect tire traction system to the tire. A method of installing the quick connect tire traction system on a tire.
Tire traction device
The tire traction device is configured for use with a vehicle. The tire traction device attaches to the wheel and tire of the vehicle such that the tire traction device distributes the load delivered through the load path carried by the wheel and tire of the vehicle over a greater surface area than can be provided by the wheel and tire of the vehicle alone. The distribution of the load over this greater surface increases the traction of the wheel and tire of the vehicle on supporting surfaces comprising granular materials. The tire traction device comprises a first stanchion, a second stanchion, a base plate, and a strap. The base plate increases the load distribution of the wheel and tire of the vehicle. The first stanchion, the second stanchion and the strap attach the tire traction device to the wheel and tire of the vehicle.
Chain apparatus for use with a vehicular tire to enhance traction on slippery terrain
A detachable chain apparatus for use with a vehicular tire is provided. The chain apparatus includes a plurality of chain assemblies disposed on the vehicular tire, each chain assembly having an elongated cable extending through a pair of slider members to create a first end loop portion proximate the first slider member, a second end loop portion proximate the second slider member, and an intermediate parallel cable portion of the elongated cable between the pair of slider members disposed on a tread portion of the vehicular tire, a plurality of sleeves rotatably mounted to the intermediate parallel cable portion of the elongated cable, and an elastic strap coupled to both the first and second end loop portions of the elongated cable. Tension in the elastic strap secures both the first and second end loop portions of the elongated cable within an interior of the tire.
Traction aid
A traction aid for a motor vehicle, comprising an elongated main body having a top and a bottom surfaces, the elongated main body having thereon a series of teeth and a sliding mechanism, a first securing member located at an end of the main body and projecting downwardly and a second securing member located at the bottom surface of the main body and attached to the sliding mechanism. The sliding mechanism allows movement of the second securing member towards or away from the first securing member along the bottom surface of the main body. The traction aid further comprises a securing mechanism configured to move the sliding mechanism and the second securing member towards the first securing member in order to squeeze a tire of the motor vehicle between the first and second securing members.
Wheel Traction Assembly
A wheel traction assembly for enhancing traction of a vehicle that is stuck includes a pair of gripping units and the gripping units are movably coupled together. Each of the gripping units is selectively positioned on a tire of a vehicle when the vehicle is stuck. Moreover, each of the gripping units tapers to at least one point to frictionally engage the ground when the tire is rotated. In this way the gripping units enhance traction when the vehicle is stuck. A pair of retention units is provided and each of the retention units is coupled to the pair of gripping units. Each of the retention units is removably attached to the tire thereby retaining the pair of gripping units on the tire.
