Pneumatic tire
A pneumatic tire comprises a carcass which comprises a carcass ply composed of a main portion extending between bead portions and a pair of turned-up portions turned-up around respective bead cores. The bead portion is provided with: a primary bead apex rubber disposed between the carcass-ply main portion and the carcass-ply turned-up portion; an insulation rubber layer extending radially outwardly through between the carcass-ply main portion and the carcass-ply turned-up portion; and a subsidiary bead apex rubber layer disposed on the axially outside of the carcass-ply turned-up portion. The radially outer edge of the insulation rubber layer is located radially outside the radially outer edge of the subsidiary bead apex rubber layer. The complex elastic modulus of the insulation rubber layer is equal to or greater than the complex elastic modulus of the topping rubber of the carcass ply.
PNEUMATIC TIRE
A pneumatic tire is disclosed and comprises a tread, a belt package located radially beneath the tread, a pair of bead cores, a pair of sidewalls, with each sidewall extending between the tread and each bead core, a carcass comprising a first carcass ply extending under the tread and being anchored to each bead core, wherein the first carcass ply has a reinforced stiffener applied thereto, wherein the carcass further comprising a second carcass ply, wherein the second carcass ply extends under the tread and is anchored to each bead core.
Pneumatic tire with cord layer extending close to tire outer surface
A pneumatic tire includes: an air permeation preventive layer disposed in the inner surface of the tire; a belt layer buried in a tread part; and a cord layer formed by arranging a plurality of cords. The cord layer is disposed between the air permeation preventive layer and the belt layer, and extends to a bead part side further from a tire maximum width position. At least a part of the cord layer is located close to the outer surface of the tire, at a position closer to the bead part side than the tire maximum width position, so that the distance between the cords and the outer surface of the tire is not more than 2 mm.
PNEUMATIC VEHICLE TYRE COMPRISING A CARCASS
Pneumatic vehicle tyre comprising a carcass (3), wherein the carcass (3) has two carcass plies (31, 32), wherein each carcass ply (31, 32) has reinforcements which are arranged inside the carcass ply (31, 32) substantially parallel to each other. The problem addressed by the invention is to provide a pneumatic vehicle tyre which likewise creates a high quality impression of sufficient robustness to a viewer and, in the process, is cheaper to produce and has a reduced rolling resistance. The invention is characterised in that the product EF1 of the average modulus of elasticity of the reinforcements, as measured with an extension of 2%, of the first carcass ply (31) and the thread density of the reinforcements of the first carcass ply (31), and the product EF2 of the average modulus of elasticity of the reinforcements of the second carcass ply (32) and the thread density of reinforcements of the second carcass ply (32), satisfy the relationship EF1>EF2.
TIRE
A tire that may improve pressure resistance and cut resistance. The tire is provided with a tire carcass member fabricated of resin and a reinforcing layer. The tire carcass member includes a bead portion covering a bead core, a side portion extending to a tire radius direction outer side from the bead portion, and a crown portion extending to a tire width direction inner side from the side portion. The reinforcing layer is provided with a plurality of cords that are covered with resin or rubber, extends from the bead portion of the tire carcass member toward the side portion, and covers at least an outer periphery face of the side portion.
TIRE
To improve the rigidity of a join portion of a tire frame member. A tire includes: a toroidal tire frame member formed of resin and is formed by joining a plurality of tire pieces together in a tire width direction; a reinforcement belt layer adhered to the tire frame member, and that extends in the tire circumferential direction so as to cover a join portion between the plurality of tire pieces; and tread rubber provided at an outer side in the tire radial direction of the tire frame member and the reinforcement belt layer, and the reinforcement belt layer includes a cord that straddles the join portion between the tire pieces.
PNEUMATIC TIRE
A pneumatic tire according to an embodiment includes: a carcass ply including organic fiber cords; and a side reinforcement layer including metal cords. The side reinforcement layer extends along a lateral surface of a bead filler, and extends beyond an outer end of the bead filler to an outer side in a tire radial direction. The carcass ply includes: a first ply stretched between bead cores; and a second ply arranged on a tire outer surface side of the first ply. An inner end portion in the tire radial direction of the second ply is superimposed on an outer end portion in the tire radial direction of the side reinforcement layer, and the second ply extends to the outer side in the tire radial direction from the inner end portion and is terminated at a position at which the second ply is superimposed on an end portion of a belt.
PNEUMATIC TIRE
In a pneumatic tire according to an embodiment, a carcass ply includes a first ply hung between a pair of bead cores and a second ply formed of a pair of ply pieces arranged on tire outer surface sides of the first ply and respectively extending from one ends positioned on a tread to beads on both sides through sidewalls on both sides to be folded about the bead cores. One end of each ply piece is positioned on an outer side in a tire width direction than a shoulder main groove and on an inner side in the tire width direction than an outer end in a width direction of a belt.
