The bead portion is provided with: a primary bead apex rubber disposed between the carcass-ply main portion and the carcass-ply turned-up portion; an insulation rubber layer extending radially outwardly through between the carcass-ply main portion and the carcass-ply turned-up portion; and a subsidiary bead apex rubber layer disposed on the axially outside of the carcass-ply turned-up portion. The radially outer edge of the insulation rubber layer is located radially outside the radially outer edge of the subsidiary bead apex rubber layer. The complex elastic modulus of the insulation rubber layer is equal to or greater than the complex elastic modulus of the topping rubber of the carcass ply.

MOTORCYCLE TIRE
A motorcycle tire comprises a carcass having a bias structure, a band comprising a jointiess ply, and a tread rubber disposed on the radially outside of the band. The loss tangent of the tread rubber at a temperature of 0 deg C. is larger in a tread crown region than in tread shoulder regions. The carcass comprises an outer carcass ply of carcass cords. The angles of the carcass cords with respect to the tire circumferential direction are smaller in the tread crown region than in the tread shoulder regions.
Tire carcass reinforcement for two-wheeled vehicles
A tire having a crown reinforcement (5), comprising at least one crown layer (51), and a carcass reinforcement (6), comprising at least one turned-up carcass layer (61), the turned-up carcass layer (61) comprising mutually parallel reinforcers turned up, within each bead, from the inside towards the outside of the tire around a bead wire (7), to form a turn-up (8) comprising a free end (E). The turned-up carcass layer (61) comprises a crown portion (611) and a lateral portion (612), the crown portion (611) extending axially between a first and a second end (E.sub.1, E′.sub.1) which is symmetric about the equatorial plane (P), the lateral portion (612) extending radially inwards, from a first end (E.sub.2) as far as a second end (E3). The reinforcers of the lateral portion (612) and the reinforcers of the turn-up (8) form, with the circumferential direction (X), specified angles.
