Hooping reinforcement for a tire of a heavy duty civil engineering vehicle
A hooping reinforcement of a tire for a heavy duty civil engineering type vehicle is disclosed. The crown reinforcement (3) of the tire (1), radially on the inside of a tread (2), comprises a protective reinforcement (6), a working reinforcement (5) and a hooping reinforcement (7). Said hooping reinforcement (7) has an axial width at most equal to the smallest axial width (L61, L62) of the two working layers (61, 62), and comprises at least two hooping layers (71, 72) that are formed from strips each made up of elastic metal reinforcers. Each hooping layer (71, 72) is made up of an axial juxtaposition of contiguous turns of the strip (8), which are circumferentially wound around the working layer (51). Each strip (8) is at least 35 mm and at most 250 mm thick, and its distributed breaking tension is at least equal to 100 daN/mm.

Each hooping layer (71, 72) is made up of an axial juxtaposition of contiguous turns of the strip (8), which are circumferentially wound around the working layer (51). Each strip (8) is at least 35 mm and at most 250 mm thick, and its distributed breaking tension is at least equal to 100 daN/mm.
PNEUMATIC TIRE
In a pneumatic tire, an elongation at break (EB) of carcass cords constituting a carcass layer satisfies a condition of EB≥15%. A tread portion includes a pair of center main grooves each extending in a tire circumferential direction with a tire equator line interposed therebetween, and a center land portion defined by the pair of center main grooves. A ratio (Wc/Wb) of a width (Wc) of the center land portion to a width (Wb) of a widest belt within a belt layer in the tire width direction satisfies a condition of 0.10≤Wc/Wb≤0.20. An elongation at break (EB) of the carcass cords and the ratio (Wc/Wb) of the width (Wc) of the center land portion to the width (Wb) of the widest belt satisfy a condition of 350≤10×1/(Wc/Wb)+20×EB≤900.
PNEUMATIC TIRE
In a pneumatic tire, an elongation at break (EB) of carcass cords constituting a carcass layer satisfies a condition of EB≥15%. A tread portion includes a pair of center main grooves each extending in a tire circumferential direction with a tire equator line interposed therebetween, and a center land portion defined by the pair of center main grooves. A ratio (Wc/Wb) of a width (Wc) of the center land portion to a width (Wb) of a widest belt within a belt layer in the tire width direction satisfies a condition of 0.10≤Wc/Wb≤0.20. An elongation at break (EB) of the carcass cords and the ratio (Wc/Wb) of the width (Wc) of the center land portion to the width (Wb) of the widest belt satisfy a condition of 350≤10×1/(Wc/Wb)+20×EB≤900.
Heavy duty pneumatic tire
A heavy duty pneumatic tire in which occurrence of uneven wear is inhibited is provided. In the tire, each shoulder land portion includes a groove wall portion forming a wall of a shoulder circumferential groove, and a cap portion located outward of the groove wall portion in an axial direction. A wear resistance index of the groove wall portion is lower than a wear resistance index of the cap portion. A ratio of a distance in the axial direction from an outer edge of the shoulder circumferential groove to a boundary between the groove wall portion and the cap portion on an outer surface of the shoulder land portion, to a width in the axial direction of the shoulder land portion, is not less than 20% and not greater than 30%.
Heavy duty pneumatic tire
A heavy duty pneumatic tire in which occurrence of uneven wear is inhibited is provided. In the tire, each shoulder land portion includes a groove wall portion forming a wall of a shoulder circumferential groove, and a cap portion located outward of the groove wall portion in an axial direction. A wear resistance index of the groove wall portion is lower than a wear resistance index of the cap portion. A ratio of a distance in the axial direction from an outer edge of the shoulder circumferential groove to a boundary between the groove wall portion and the cap portion on an outer surface of the shoulder land portion, to a width in the axial direction of the shoulder land portion, is not less than 20% and not greater than 30%.
PNEUMATIC TIRE
A pneumatic tire is provided. A carcass layer includes carcass cords formed of organic fiber cords obtained by intertwining a filament bundle of organic fibers, and includes turn-up portions formed by turning up end portions of a pair of bead portions to an outer side in a tire width direction. The carcass cords have an elongation at break (EB) satisfying EB≥15%. A portion of a belt layer located in a width range of 10% of a width of a second widest belt in the belt layer on each of a left side and a right side of a tire equator line in a tire width direction has a belt angle (θc) satisfying 0.349 rad≤θc≤0.56 rad. The elongation at break (EB) of the carcass cords and the belt angle (θc) satisfy 800<1140×θc+20×EB<1400.
PNEUMATIC TIRE
A pneumatic tire is provided. A carcass layer includes carcass cords formed of organic fiber cords obtained by intertwining a filament bundle of organic fibers, and includes turn-up portions formed by turning up end portions of a pair of bead portions to an outer side in a tire width direction. The carcass cords have an elongation at break (EB) satisfying EB≥15%. A portion of a belt layer located in a width range of 10% of a width of a second widest belt in the belt layer on each of a left side and a right side of a tire equator line in a tire width direction has a belt angle (θc) satisfying 0.349 rad≤θc≤0.56 rad. The elongation at break (EB) of the carcass cords and the belt angle (θc) satisfy 800<1140×θc+20×EB<1400.
HEAVY-DUTY TIRE
A heavy-duty tire comprises a tread reinforcing belt comprising first to fourth belt plies each composed of belt cords inclined with respect to the tire equatorial plane. The first radial distance L1 between the belt cords of the third belt ply and the belt cords of the fourth belt ply is not more than the second radial distance L2 between the belt cords of the second belt ply and the belt cords of the third belt ply. The cord count E4 of the fourth belt ply is smaller than the cord count E3 of the third belt ply.
PNEUMATIC TIRE
A carcass layer of a pneumatic lire includes carcass cords of organic fiber cords obtained by intertw ining a filament bundle of organic fibers, and includes turn-up portions formed by turning back end portions of the carcass layer at bead portions toward an outer side in a width direction. The carcass cords have an elongation at break (EB) satisfying EB≥15%. An averagetotal gauge (GC)of a center land portion located within a width of 10% of a width of a second widest belt in a belt layer on right and left sides of an equatorial plane in the width direction, an average thickness(SG) of a sound absorptive member inside the pneumatic tire and located within a range identical to that of the center land portion, and the elongation at break (EB) of the carcass cords satisfy 15≤GC/(GC+SG/10)×EB (%)≤25.
