Towbar with a hitch ball system
A towbar with a hitch ball system is shown and described. The towbar with a hitch ball system may include a first bushing member, a second bushing member telescopingly engaged with the first bushing member, the second bushing member including at least one aperture, and a pivoting arm telescopingly engaged with the second bushing member. The towbar with a hitch ball system may also include an engagement device operatively coupled with the second bushing member, the engagement device including a pin member and an electrically-operating device, where the electrically-operating device generally aligns the pin member with the at least one aperture of the second bushing member.

Vehicle tow hook
An assembly includes a vehicle frame, a base fixed relative to the vehicle frame, and a hook supported by the base and rotatable relative to the base between an extended position and a retracted position. One of the hook or the base has a flange and the other of the hook or the base has a pair of extensions. The flange is between the extensions. A post is fixed relative to the flange and engages both extensions. A spring is connected to the post and one of the extensions. The spring is positioned to bias the hook toward the extended position.
Trailer hitch
In order to connect a trailer hitch, comprising a ball neck, which is movable between an operative position and a rest position and has a pivot bearing body arranged at a first end and a coupling ball arranged at a second end, a pivot bearing unit, which is arranged fixed to the vehicle by means of a carrier that is configured to be secured to a vehicle body, wherein by means of the pivot bearing unit, which has a pivot bearing housing, the pivot bearing body is mounted such that it is pivotal about a pivot axis between the operative position and the rest position, and a rotation-blocking device that, in at least one rotation-blocking position, blocks a pivotal movement of the pivot bearing body about the pivot axis in relation to the pivot bearing unit and, in a release position, releases such pivotal movement, to the carrier in a manner that is stable and simple to assemble, it is proposed that the pivot bearing housing should pass through a receptacle in a bearing part of the carrier and in so doing be held by positively engaging elements such that it cannot rotate in relation thereto, and that on either side of the receptacle the pivot bearing housing should be fixed by support bodies that abut against the bearing part and are supported against both the pivot bearing housing and the bearing part.
Trailer hitch
The invention relates to a trailer hitch, comprising a ball neck, which is movable between an operative position and a rest position and has a trailer ball, a pivot bearing unit, which is arranged fixed to the vehicle, and a rotation-blocking device having at least two rotation-blocking bodies that are guided such that they are movable by means of a guide body in a guide direction having at least one component in the radial direction in relation to the pivot axis, and having an actuation body, which is arranged such that it is rotatable about the pivot axis and has a respective wedge face extending transversely to the guide direction for each of the rotation-blocking bodies and of which the rotary movement in an actuation direction causes the at least two rotation-blocking bodies to be movable and urgeable in the guide direction, wherein there is provided a release position latching device that, in a release position of the actuation body, is movable between a latch release position, which releases movement of the actuation body in relation to the guide body, and a latching position, which fixes the actuation body in relation to the guide body, and, at least in the release position of the actuation body, is urged in the direction of the latching position by a spring element.
