The chassis includes a battery housing receiving a propulsion battery. A front transverse carrier extends between the respective longitudinal control arms of the front wheel suspension, and a rear transverse carrier extends between the respective longitudinal control arms of the rear wheel suspension. The respective transverse carriers are rigidly connected to the battery housing and couple the longitudinal control arms and the torsion spring.
Bushing
The invention relates to an assembly comprising a bushing with a center line L, having an inner sleeve with a mounting bore, an outer sleeve and an elastomeric spring member extending along a height H along the center line L. In one embodiment, the outer surface of the inner sleeve, the spring member and the inner surface of the outer sleeve are on each side of the center line L substantially parallel. On at least one side of the longitudinal center line L, the outer surface of the inner sleeve, the spring member and the inner surface of the outer sleeve extend at an angle to the center line L. An outer surface of the outer sleeve is substantially parallel to the center line L along the height H. Another embodiment of an assembly according to the invention comprises a bushing with a mounting bore that extends at an angle to the center line L. The bushing according to the invention is compact, can be easily manufactured and assembled, take up a high load and can be adjusted to the direction along which forces act on the bushing.

AXLE ASSEMBLY AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURE THEREOF
Described herein is an axle assembly and method of fabrication thereof. The axle assembly includes an axle having a first geometric shape housed within an axle housing having a second geometric shape. A shock absorber is located between the axle and the axle housing. The shock absorber supports the axle within the axle housing and comprises a first material and comprises a multi-sided configuration. The first geometric shape and the second geometric shape comprising polygons.
SELF-PROPELLED TANDEM AXLE TRAILER
A trailer for towing by a power vehicle is provided and generally includes a frame and a tandem wheel assembly. The frame forms an undercarriage chassis which the tandem wheel assembly is positioned there under. The undercarriage chassis includes a rear wheel assembly, a front wheel assembly, and an extension assembly moving the front wheel assembly between trailing position and a self-propelled position. At least one of the wheel assemblies is powered by a selectively engageable drive assembly including a motor, transmission, driveshaft, selectively engageable clutch and hub, to drive the rotation of at least one of the wheels.
SELF-PROPELLED TANDEM AXLE TRAILER
A trailer for towing by a power vehicle is provided and generally includes a frame and a tandem wheel assembly. The frame forms an undercarriage chassis which the tandem wheel assembly is positioned there under. The undercarriage chassis includes a steerable rear wheel assembly, a steerable front wheel assembly, and an extension assembly moving the front wheel assembly between trailing position and a self-propelled position where the rear wheel assembly and the front wheel assembly are positioned to equally support the undercarriage chassis.
Suspension system
The invention disclosed herein comprises a vehicle having improved suspension systems for wheels, motorized wheels and the seat of the user. The wheel suspension system includes a sleeve housing a non-round core snugly surrounded by an elastomeric shock-absorption material. Since both ends of the sleeve have downstanding arms forming the forks supporting a caster axle, irregularities in the terrain encountered by the caster exert torsion upon the core; embedding the core in elastomeric material dampens the shock. The suspension system for the wheel assembly (including any motorized drive shaft) essentially includes pivot-mounting the wheel assembly (wheel-motor) beneath the chassis frame, so that irregularities in the terrain encountered by the drive wheel cause the wheel assembly to flex inwardly (for bumps) or outwardly (for holes); in the resting position there is an elastomeric bumper or compression spring horizontally mounted adjacent to a stop-plate on the pivoting cradle carrying the wheel assembly (or wheel-motor), so that further inward flexion is dampened. The seat suspension system includes elastomeric bumpers essentially acting as fulcrums, to dampen shock by absorbing it directly and by cantilevering the seat for further shock absorption.
Rotary cutter with torsional suspension system
A rotary cutter having a torsional suspension system may include a main frame, a deck supported by the frame, at least one rotary cutter mounted to the deck, at least one wheel, and a torsional suspension system connecting the at least one wheel to the frame. The torsional suspension system may include an outer tubular housing, an inner torsional tube disposed in the outer housing and configured to form cavities between the outer housing and the inner torsional tube, and elastomeric cords disposed in the cavities and configured for providing torsional resistance to rotation of the outer housing relative to the inner torsional tube.

VEHICLE HAVING THREE OR MORE TILTING WHEELS WITH REACTIVE CONSTRAINT SUSPENSION
The invention describes a vehicle (100) having three or more tilting wheels comprising a main frame (2) provided with a suspension group (3) for at least two wheels (25). The suspension group (3) is joined to the main frame (2) through a hinge (8) that allows the free rotation of the main frame (2) with respect to the suspension group (3) along the axis of the hinge (8). The suspension group (3) comprises a pivoting arm (6) for each wheel (25). Each pivoting arm (6) is constrained to the suspension group (3) through the interposition of one or more elastic elements (9) consisting of elastomers. The elastic elements (9) operate as suspension or damping means, or with both of the associated functions. Each elastic element (9) is compressed and works under pressure inside a cavity obtained between one or more pins (7) having a closed polygonal section, operatively associated with the hinge (8), and one or more channels (32) having a closed polygonal section, obtained in the suspension group (3). The closed polygonal section of each channel (32) has a compatible shape and has a larger surface with respect to the closed polygonal section of each pin (7) that rotates inside such a channel (32) having a closed polygonal section.
