Motor vehicle chassis
A motor vehicle chassis is provided having a base structure that can be hydraulically adjusted in level between a raised and a lowered position. A hydraulic adjuster is assigned to one of the two foot points of the corresponding suspension spring in each of the four wheel suspensions. At least two of the adjusters can be pressurized in parallel by a common hydraulic aggregate comprising a tank and a motor-pump unit and activated by a control unit. The at least two hydraulic adjusters that can be pressurized by the common hydraulic aggregate communicate hydraulically with the accumulator chamber of a spring-piston accumulator, which has at least one piston-position transmitter linked by signal transmission to the control unit.
Control device
A control device for controlling a hydraulic consumer (2), such as a working cylinder, has at least one control valve (18) having a control spool (20). Control spool (20) is guided in a valve housing (22) in a longitudinally movable manner and is actuated by an electric motor (24). Electric motor (24) can be controlled by control electronics (MC), which receive input signals from a sensor device (58, 60, 62) detecting at least one operating state of the consumer (2).

A vehicle, variable spring system and method of operating a corner actuator coupled to wheel of the vehicle. The vehicle includes the corner actuator and the variable spring system. The variable spring system includes a control chamber coupled to the corner actuator, a first spring, a second spring, and a valve. An applied resistance for the corner actuator is selected by selecting an amount of fluid coupling between the control chamber and each of the first spring and the second spring. A force is absorbed at the wheel using the applied resistance.

A vehicle, variable spring system and method of operating a corner actuator coupled to wheel of the vehicle. The vehicle includes the corner actuator and the variable spring system. The variable spring system includes a control chamber coupled to the corner actuator, a first spring, a second spring, and a valve. An applied resistance for the corner actuator is selected by selecting an amount of fluid coupling between the control chamber and each of the first spring and the second spring. A force is absorbed at the wheel using the applied resistance.

This oscillating axle (3) for a lifting device (1) comprises an axle bridge (5) at the ends of which are mounted two ground connection members (7), an oscillation axis (X3), a left jack (9) and a right jack (11), each jack (9, 11) having a rod (90, 110) in contact with the bridge (5) and a body (92, 112) fixed on a fixed part (13) of a chassis (2) of the lifting device (1), the body (92, 112) forming a chamber (94, 114) in which the rod (90, 110) moves. The axle comprises a hydraulic circuit (15) interconnecting the chambers (92, 112) of the left (9) and right (11) jacks, in which a fluid is present at a given pressure, making it possible to press the rods (90, 110) of the left jack (9) and of the right jack (11) against the bridge (5), and at least one solenoid valve (150, 152) on a branch (15A) of the hydraulic circuit (15) connected to the chamber (94) of the left jack (9), and at least one solenoid valve (154, 156) on a branch (15B) of the hydraulic circuit (15) connected to the chamber (114) of the right jack (11), wherein each of these solenoid valves (150, 152, 154, 156) may be positioned in an open position, in which fluid may flow freely, and a closed position, in which the fluid is trapped in the chamber (94, 114) of the corresponding jack (9, 11). Each of the chambers (94, 114) of the left jack (9) and of the right jack (11) has a pressure sensor (23, 25) designed to measure the pressure of the fluid in each of the chambers (94, 114). Control means (21) are provided to detect a pressure in one of the chambers (94, 114) that is greater than a first threshold, and/or a differential between the pressures in each of the chambers (94, 114) that is greater than a second threshold, so as to detect the blocking of a solenoid valve (150, 152, 154, 156) in the closed position, and to initiate a safety procedure.

An anti-roll device comprises a bar coupled to two links, a hydraulic control circuit (CC) and actuating means (MAC) comprising a casing (CR) defining the chamber (CH) subdivided into a first (P1) and a second (P2) part by a piston (PI), and comprising first (ES1) and second (ES2) inlets-outlets communicating with the first (P1) and second (P2) parts and an intermediate inlet-outlet (ES1) communicating with the first part (P1) or with the second part (P2) depending on the position of the piston (PI). These actuating means (MAC) adopt a disengaged state or block state in whatever position of the piston (PI), according to the accessibility status of the first (ES1) and second (ES2) inlets-outlets and of the intermediate inlet-outlet (ES1). The control circuit (CC) controls the accessibility statuses according to the commands received.

A hydraulic suspension system for a motor vehicle having at least a pair of road engaging wheels.
