Stabilizer bar bushing
A cantilever bushing assembly anchors the central torsional section of a vehicular stabilizer bar in a cantilevered manner relative to a vehicle understructure. The bushing assembly comprises a bracket having a pocket centered on a pocket axis that coincides with a longitudinal axis of the stabilizer bar. Two plastic outer cans are cooperatively slidable into the pocket. Each outer can has an anti-rotation lobe received in respective keyways formed in the pocket. A rubber buffer is bonded to each outer can. Each rubber buffer has a frusto-cylindrical inner bearing surface that forms an arcuate portion of an interior bushing diameter. The inner bearing surface is post-vulcanization bonded to the central torsional section of the stabilizer bar. An arched rate plate is embedded within each rubber buffer. The rubber buffers compress in the area of the inner bearing surfaces and constrict about the central torsional section of the stabilizer bar.
Sway bar and bushing systems and methods
A vehicle includes a frame, a first mounting bracket, and a sway bar assembly. The frame includes a first member including a first opening and a second member including a second opening. The first mounting bracket is disposed proximal the first member and includes a first panel and a second panel. The first panel is substantially parallel to a surface of the first member and defines a bar opening that is substantially aligned with the first opening. The second panel extends substantially perpendicular to the first panel and includes an aperture that is substantially aligned with the bar opening. The sway bar assembly includes a bar having a first end and a second end. The bar extends through the first opening and the second opening and is rotatably coupled to the first mounting bracket.

A vehicle disclosed herein may include: a vehicle body including a front compartment; a drive disposed in the front compartment and configured to drive a wheel; a plurality of brackets attaching the drive to the vehicle body; a stabilizer extending in a right-left direction of the vehicle in the front compartment and connecting a left front suspension and a right front suspension to each other; and a plurality of bushes attaching the stabilizer to the vehicle body, wherein the plurality of bushes may include a first bush located frontward of the drive, the plurality of brackets may include a first bracket located rearward of the first bush, and at least a part of the first bracket may be located above the first bush.
TORSION BUSHINGS AND RELATED ASSEMBLIES
A torsion bushing includes a body portion defining a torsion rod-receiving bore, one or more helical flexion ribs defining at least a portion of the torsion rod-receiving bore, and a helical lubrication reservoir adjacent to the one or more helical flexion ribs. The torsion bushing may be included in a torsion busing assembly that further includes a bracket. The bracket may have a saddle to receive the torsion bushing, and one or more flanges for coupling the bracket to a frame. The torsion bushing may be included in a torsion rod assembly that further includes the bracket and a torsion rod.
BEARING STRUCTURE COMPONENT
A bearing structure component for a vehicle bearing, having at least one through-opening for receiving a connecting element or a bearing which is made of foamed synthetic material, and the foamed synthetic material forms an integral foam structure. In an embodiment, at least one first local section of the integral foam structure has a wall thickness of greater than 4 mm.

VEHICLE
A vehicle includes a body frame including an upper frame, a front frame, and a rear frame. On a front-wheel side, a first end of a shock absorber of a suspension and a stabilizer are supported by the body frame via a bracket adjacent to a connection between the upper frame and the front frame. On a rear-wheel side, a first end of a shock absorber of a suspension and a stabilizer are supported by the body frame via a bracket adjacent to a connection between the upper frame and the rear frame.
STABILIZER BAR BUSHING
A cantilever bushing assembly anchors the central torsional section of a vehicular stabilizer bar in a cantilevered manner relative to a vehicle understructure. BUSHING ASSEMBLY FOR A STABILIZER BAR OF A VEHICLE
A bushing assembly for a stabilizer bar in a vehicle includes a split ring defining a passageway engaging with an outer surface of the stabilizer bar, an outer diameter surface, a first split ring end, a second split ring end, and at least one axial retention flange disposed at either the first split ring end or the second split ring end. The bushing assembly includes an elastomer bushing defining an inner diameter, an outer diameter, a first bushing end, a second bushing end, a first axial flange disposed at the first bushing end, and a second axial flange at the second bushing end. At least one of the first axial flange and the second axial flange abut against the at least one axial retention flange of the split ring to create a zero clearance condition. The bushing assembly also includes a strap clamp securing the bushing assembly to the vehicle.
