A chassis for a lift device includes a base, an arm coupled to the base and configured to support a tractive element, and a plate extending from the arm at an upward angle. The arm includes a steering actuator interface configured to support an end of a steering actuator for the tractive element. The plate is configured to extend past the steering actuator.
Hanger for axle/suspension systems
A hanger for axle/suspension systems of a heavy-duty vehicle includes an outboard wall spaced apart from an inboard wall. The outboard wall is connected to the inboard wall via a front wall. The outboard wall and the inboard wall are formed with an aligned opening extending through the outboard wall and the inboard wall. A top plate connected to the inboard wall, the outboard wall and the front wall. The top plate is formed with at least one circular opening or laterally oriented oblong-round opening and at least one laterally slotted opening. A fastener is disposed through the at least one circular opening or oblong-round opening. A second fastener is disposed through the at least one laterally slotted opening for mounting the hanger to a frame of the heavy-duty vehicle.
Axle assembly for a heavy-duty vehicle and heavy duty-vehicle having at least one such axle assembly
The invention relates to an axle assembly and a heavy-duty vehicle having such an axle assembly, which comprises a pivot bearing having a substantially vertically extending steering axis of rotation, a bogie rotatably arranged about the steering axis of rotation, a rocker mounted on the bogie so as to be pivotable about a substantially horizontal pivot axis, a wheel carrier operatively connected to the rocker having at least one wheel rotatably mounted thereon about a wheel axis of rotation, the wheel axis of rotation extending substantially horizontally and, when driving straight ahead, substantially transversely to the direction of travel, and a pneumatically actuatable power device, which is arranged between the rocker and the bogie.
Spring assembly for a vehicle bogie suspension arrangement
A spring assembly for a vehicle bogie suspension arrangement. The spring assembly includes a set of washers moulded into an elastomer body. The spring assembly has an axial extension in an axial direction and the washers are arranged relative to each other in the axial direction. At least one of the washers is a spring washer including a spring washer body and at least two spring tongues. Each spring tongue has a spring base connected to the spring washer body and a spring tip distal to the spring base. At least a portion of the spring tongue is located at a non-zero distance from the spring base in the axial direction.
Bogie balancing system and method for a work machine
A bogie positioning system and method for a work machine. The bogie positioning system adapted to selectively engage a wheel of a work machine to a ground surface through a bogie assembly wherein the bogie assembly may have a front wheel coupled to a rear wheel through a bogie coupling mechanism. The bogie coupling mechanism comprising a beam with a rotary joint. The rotary joint allowing the front wheel to rotate about a rotary axis relative to the rear wheel. The beam is coupled to a chassis of the work machine with at least one actuator coupled to the beam. A control unit is in communication with the bogie assembly, a user input interface, and a plurality of sensors, generating command signals to actuate the actuator based on the input signals, thereby selectively engaging the front wheel or the rear wheel with the ground surface.
Tracked vehicle comprising a rotatably attached bogie
The invention relates to a tracked vehicle (11) comprising a vehicle body (30), at least one track assembly (21) and a suspension device (S). Said track assembly (21) is arranged to be supported by said vehicle body (30) by means of said suspension device (S), said track assembly comprising a track support beam (22) for supporting a plurality of road wheels (23, 23a), an endless track (25) being disposed around said road wheels. Said suspension device (S) comprises a bogie arrangement (50) rotatably attached to a fastening point (P0) of said vehicle body (30) about an axis of rotation (Z0) transversal to the longitudinal extension of said track assembly (21) and attached to said track support beam (22) in connection to at least two fastening points (P1, P2) so that the track support beam (22) is allowed to rotate in a rotational plane extending along the longitudinal extension of said track support beam (22) about said axis of rotation.
