Stabilizer assembly for a vehicle
A stabilizer unit for a vehicle and a method for manufacturing such a stabilizer unit, the stabilizer unit comprising a stabilizer bar, at least one bearing including a flange, made of plastic material, including at least one retaining portion and one groove including a cradle portion, wherein the stabilizer bar passes through the groove of the flange and is secured to the flange by means of a vulcanized elastomer layer.
Gas Spring End Members as well as Gas Spring Assemblies Including Same
Gas spring end members include an end member wall with a longitudinal axis. End member wall includes an end wall portion and an outer wall portion. Outer wall portion extends peripherally about axis and is dimensioned to receivingly engage a flexible spring member. Rib wall portions are spaced around axis with each of rib wall portions projecting axially from end wall portion toward a rib end surface portion. Rib wall portions also include a rib edge surface portion spaced inward from an inner side surface portion of outer peripheral wall portion such that a gap is formed therebetween. Gas spring assemblies including one or more of such end members, and suspension systems including one or more of such gas spring assemblies are also included.
Bearing bush
A bearing bush for supporting a motor vehicle part includes an inner tube made of a metal, a sliding sleeve made of a first plastic material and mounted rotatably on the inner tube, and an elastomer bearing which surrounds the sliding sleeve and has at least a first elastomer body and an outer sleeve. A sliding layer made of a second plastic material is applied to an outer circumferential surface of the inner tube, the first plastic material and the second plastic material forming a tribological pairing either of two different polymers from the groups of polyamides, polyoxymethylenes, polyketones, fluoropolymers, polyethylene terephthalates or polybutylene terephthalates, or the tribological pairing being formed from polyketone against polyketone, wherein the polymers of the tribological pairings each are present in a continuous thermoplastic polymer phase.
LINK ARM MEMBER
A link arm member of the present invention is used in a vehicle for connecting a suspension and a stabilizer, and includes: a support bar that is sealed by plastically deforming a hollow metal pipe at both ends thereof; and a housing part made of resin that is arranged at each end of the support bar and has a receiving hole for receiving a ball part of a ball stud to which the suspension or the stabilizer is fixed, wherein the housing part is formed by insert molding with the support bar.
NOISE-REDUCING ELEMENT FOR A LEAF SPRING
The anti-noise element (EAR) is applied to separate the end portions of each two spring blades (LM), superimposed and adjacent, of a spring bundle (FM) and comprises a metal plate (10) covered by a coating (20) in polyamide-11 thermoplastic resin and incorporating a median protrusion (12) to be fitted and retained into a corresponding hole (F) provided at the end portion of the spring blade (LM) against which the anti-noise element (EAR) is seated and retained.
POLYAMIDE FORMULATIONS FOR IMPROVED NOISE VIBRATION AND HARSHNESS
Provided herein are polyamide compositions including one or more semi-crystalline polyamides and either an amorphous polyamide or a semi-crystalline copolyamide such as PA66/6. The provided compositions are particularly useful as vibration isolators more effective at high-temperature noise and harshness damping than conventional polyamide compositions. Also provided are methods for making the provided compositions, and articles that include the provided compositions.
Gas spring end members as well as gas spring assemblies including same
Gas spring end members include an end member wall with a longitudinal axis. The end member wall includes an end wall portion and an outer wall portion. The outer wall portion extends peripherally about an axis and is dimensioned to receivingly engage a flexible spring member. Rib wall portions are spaced around the axis with each of the rib wall portions projecting axially from the end wall portion toward a rib end surface portion. The rib wall portions also include a rib edge surface portion spaced inward from an inner side surface portion of the outer peripheral wall portion such that a gap is formed therebetween. Gas spring assemblies including one or more of such end members, and suspension systems including one or more of such gas spring assemblies are also included.
Bearing for stabilizer bar provided with a backing plate
A bearing for a stabilizer bar of a vehicle comprising a flange including at least one retaining portion, provided with a fastening bore, and one groove, configured to receive the stabilizer bar, and a backplate including at least one obturation portion, the backplate being provided to be mounted on the flange so that the obturation portion closes the groove of the flange, wherein the flange and the backplate have elastic nesting members configured to secure the backplate on the flange.
