Fuel-operated vehicle heater and method for operating a fuel-operated vehicle heater
A method for operating a fuel-operated vehicle heater, wherein after receipt of a switch-off signal by a control unit of the fuel-operated vehicle heater, a shutdown phase is initiated, during which remaining fuel present in the fuel-operated vehicle heater is combusted, and wherein a restart phase is initiated by the control unit after receipt of a switch-on signal during the shutdown phase, without the shutdown phase being terminated after complete combustion of the remaining fuel.
Vehicle heater
A vehicle heater includes a burner assembly unit (12) with a combustion chamber (18) to be fed with combustion air (V) and fuel (B) and a flame tube (24). A heat exchanger assembly unit (14) includes an inner heat exchanger housing (28) with an inner circumferential wall (30) and an outer heat exchanger housing (34) with an outer circumferential wall (36). A heat transfer medium flow space (40) is between the inner and outer heat exchanger housings, which are elongated in a longitudinal axis (L) direction. A waste gas backflow space (44), between the inner circumferential wall (30) and the flame tube, opens towards an exhaust gas outlet. A catalytic converter device (52) is provided in the waste gas backflow space associated with an energizable heating unit (58), or/and insulation material (64) is provided on an outer side (62) facing away from the heat transfer medium flow space.
Dump body front wall heating channel
A heating channel for a front wall of a dump body comprises an exhaust inlet provided on the front wall; an exhaust outlet provided on the front wall; and a channel body running continuously from the exhaust inlet to the exhaust outlet. The channel body can have at least one horizontally extending portion and at least one vertically extending portion in a front view of the front wall. The exhaust inlet can be configured to receive exhaust gas output from an internal combustion engine, and the exhaust outlet can be configured to output the received exhaust gas to outside the heating channel.

Evaporator burner
The invention relates to an evaporator burner (1; 101) for a mobile heating device, comprising: a combustion chamber (3), a fuel feed line (4) for feeding liquid fuel, and an evaporator for evaporating fed fuel. The evaporator has a support body (6; 106) made of a nonporous material, comprising a fuel preparation surface (6a; 106a) which faces the combustion chamber (3) and which comes into contact with the liquid fuel. A surface structuring (11) with a plurality of depressions (11a) and elevations (11b) is introduced into the fuel preparation surface (6a; 106a) and/or into a support body (6; 106) rear face (6b; 106b) facing away from the fuel preparation surface.
