A vehicle thermal management system, may include a heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) subsystem including an HVAC casing in which a heater core and an evaporator are received; and a cooling subsystem including a coolant loop through which a coolant circulates, wherein the heater core is located on the downstream side of the evaporator in an air flow direction, and the coolant loop is thermally connected to the heater core. The HVAC subsystem includes: an air mixing chamber located on the downstream side of the heater core within the HVAC casing; a discharge pipe fluidically communicating with the air mixing chamber, and being opened to the outside of a passenger compartment; and a flap configured for selectively opening and closing the discharge pipe.

The invention relates to a surface temperature-controlling device, in particular for use in vehicles, comprising a first air-distributing layer which has multiple air inlets extending through the first air-distributing layer and multiple air outlets extending through the first air-distributing layer, and a second air-distributing layer which fluidically connects air inlets and air outlets of the first air-distributing layer, wherein the air inlets are designed to introduce pre-heated or pre-cooled air into the second air-distributing layer, and the air outlets are designed to discharge air out of the second air-distributing layer.

In particular, an electric heater for heating electric car batteries or an HVAC system or for a system for reducing the environmental pollution of the motor vehicle. The electric heater includes a metal sheet adapted to generate heat when it is crossed by an electric current. two polymeric layers between which the metal sheet is arranged, and two metal layers, between which the two polymeric layers are arranged. The two metal layers are hermetically sealed to each other defining a casing, which prevents the substance to be heated from coming into contact with the two polymeric layers and with the metal sheet. A plurality of metal flaps extend transversely from an external face of at least one metal layer of the two metal layers.

A vehicle air conditioning device is provided which is capable of accurately judging the need for temperature regulation of an object of temperature regulation mounted in a vehicle and efficiently performing temperature regulation. A compressor 2 to compress a refrigerant, an indoor heat exchanger (radiator 4 and heat absorber 9) for exchanging heat between air supplied to a vehicle interior and the refrigerant, an outdoor heat exchanger 7 disposed outside the vehicle interior, and a control device 11 are provided to perform air conditioning of the vehicle interior. An equipment temperature adjusting device 61 for adjusting the temperature of the object of temperature regulation mounted in the vehicle is provided. The control device controls the equipment temperature adjusting device 61 on the basis of a gradient (ΔTw) of a change in an index indicating the temperature of the object of temperature regulation.

In order to guarantee reliable maintenance, a reliable energy supply and simple handling of the service cover and the vehicle air conditioner at the smallest possible structural cost, it is proposed that the service cover has electrical means, by means of which an air-treatment device arranged within the vehicle air conditioner can be supplied with the electrical energy necessary in order to operate said air-treatment device from outside the vehicle air conditioner.
Method for controlling heating of hybrid vehicle
A method for controlling heating of a hybrid vehicle is provided. The vehicle includes a duct flowing air into the indoor of the hybrid vehicle from the outside, a heater core for circulating the coolant heated from an engine inside the duct, a PTC heater heated by the power supplied from a high-voltage battery of the hybrid vehicle inside the duct, and a controller. The controller operates the engine and the PTC heater and heats the air flowing into the indoor of the hybrid vehicle through the duct. The voltage supplied to the PTC heater from a low voltage DC-DC converter (LDC) is changed based on the state of the engine and an auxiliary battery for supplying power to an electric component of the vehicle to apply power to the PTC heater.

According to one embodiment of the present invention, a heating rod comprises: a first thermal diffusion plate; a ceramic substrate arranged on the first thermal diffusion plate and having a heating element arranged therein; and a second thermal diffusion plate arranged on the ceramic substrate, wherein the first thermal diffusion plate and the second thermal diffusion plate are respectively stacked in a plurality of layers. Since the first thermal diffusion plate and the second thermal diffusion plate are stacked in the plurality of layers, a heating rod having a high thermal efficiency and being capable of fast heating and a vehicular heating device including the same can be obtained.

A positive temperature coefficient electric heater for a vehicle includes a support part, a control circuitry, and a first and a second radiating layers overlapping one another, each radiating layer having a plurality of heating rods extending from the support part and connected in parallel to the control circuitry. Each radiating layer has a first layer sector and a second layer sector controlled independently of one another. The radiating layers may be controlled independently of one another. In the first radiating layer, the second section of the heating rods is capable of generating greater thermal power than the first section of the heating rods and, in the second radiating layer, the first section of the heating rods is capable of generating greater thermal power than the second section of the heating rods.
