Sealing plugs
A sealing plug (100) for a panel opening, the plug having an axis (132) and including a head portion (110) having a first diameter larger than of the panel opening and a leg portion (120) concentric to the head portion (110) and having a second diameter shorter than the first diameter, the leg includes at least two latches (130) extending radially towards the head portion (110), and wherein the passing of the leg portion (120) and the at least two latches (130) through the panel opening causes resilient deformation of each latch (130), such that each latch (130) deforms and recovers thereby causing the panel to be retained by the at least two latches (130) and between the at least two latches (130) and the head portion (110) of the plug (100).

GLASS COVER UNIT OF A SLIDING ROOF SYSTEM FOR AN AUTOMOTIVE VEHICLE AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE GLASS COVER UNIT
1. Glass cover unit of a sliding roof system for an automotive vehicle and method for its production.
2.1 A glass cover unit comprising a glass cover and a metallic carrier arrangement and an in-place foamed synthetic material, said foamed material being provided in a boundary area of the glass cover and fixing the metallic carrier arrangement in relation to a bottom side of the glass cover, wherein a sealing insert is provided between a top side of the metallic carrier arrangement and the bottom side of the glass cover to ensure spacing of the top side of the metallic carrier arrangement from the bottom side of the glass cover, is known.
2.2 According to the invention, the sealing insert is a sealing bead configured using a deformable material which extends in an annular shape on the metallic carrier arrangement, which adheres to the metallic carrier arrangement, and has bead ends adjoining in alignment joint to joint.
2.3 Use with passenger vehicles.
Vehicle
A vehicle includes a vehicle body including: an elongated frame made of a first material and extending along a door opening; and an elongated rail made of a second material having a linear expansion coefficient different from that of the first material, the rail covering the frame and extending along the frame, the rail being configured to abut with a weather strip when a door closes the door opening. The rail is fixed to the frame at a plurality of fixation parts that includes: a first fixation part provided in an intermediate part of the rail in the longitudinal direction of the rail; and second fixation parts provided, respectively, in opposite end parts of the rail in its longitudinal direction. In the longitudinal direction of the rail, backlash widths at the second fixation parts are larger than a backlash width at the first fixation part.
