Illuminated Trim Fitting
An illuminated trim fitting for a motor vehicle, in particular a trim fitting as a cover fitting of a sealing strip for the window channel of a vehicle door, is intended to provide a high-quality illuminating effect accompanied at the same time by a simple structural design, low manufacturing costs and space-saving means of attachment. In addition, the trim fitting is to differ as little as possible externally from non-illuminated trim fittings. For this purpose there is provision that a light gap is formed between a profiled strip of the trim fitting and the adjacent vehicle outer skin, through which light gap the light emitted by an optical waveguide provided on the rear of the trim fitting can exit to the outside.
Door outside belt for vehicle
A hybrid-type door outside belt for a vehicle utilizes different materials for a skin layer of a skin body that is mounted to an upper end of a door panel and a main wing that is moved by contacting the door glass, the skin layer of the skin body being made of a material having excellent scratch-resistance, and the main wing being made of a material having excellent compression set (deformation).
CONFIGURED PLUG FOR REDUCING POTENTIAL DAMAGE TO OUTER BELT CAP AND METHOD
A plug is disclosed that reduces a potential for damage to a cap or bright strip of a weatherstrip assembly. The plug is preferably an elongated member having a cross-sectional first dimension that extends between and contacts an indented, transition region of the weatherstrip body and an inner surface of the cap.
Side door structure and side door manufacturing method of vehicle
There are provided an outer member, an inner member connected to the outer member, door components including a door glass provided between the outer member and the inner member, and a reinforcement outer member extending in a vehicle longitudinal direction at an upper end portion of the inner member which is positioned on an outward side, in a vehicle width direction, of the door glass. The outer member includes an outer panel and an annular frame member which is joined to an outer peripheral portion of the outer panel by a hemming method, the reinforcement outer member is connected to the inner member at its front and rear end portions, and a seal outer member to seal a gap between the outer member and the door glass is attached to an upper frame portion fastened to the reinforcement outer member.
LOW PROFILE OUTER BELT SEAL WITH IMPROVED RETENTION
Systems and methods are presented herein for providing a low-profile outer belt seal that has features enabling high levels of retention to a vehicle door assembly. The outer belt seal comprises a linear insert that has two exterior opposite sides. On at least one of the exterior opposite sides, a gripping structure protrudes to enable a friction-based connection between the outer belt seal and a wall of an opening into which the lower extending portion is inserted. A sealing lip extends from the linear insert and is arranged to make contact with a movable window capable of translating vertically proximate to the belt seal. The sealing lip creates a sealing surface that prevents water translating down the moveable window into a door assembly.
VEHICLE DOOR ASSEMBLY
A vehicle door assembly comprises: an outer door panel skin; and a seal carrier rail, wherein the seal carrier rail is shaped to provide: a first elongate recess at a first face of the seal carrier rail configured to accommodate a waist seal within the first elongate recess; and a second elongate recess at a second face of the seal carrier rail opposite the first face, wherein the second elongate recess is located between the seal carrier rail and the outer door panel skin.

Vehicle door
A vehicle door includes a door panel, a corner piece that is disposed at a door waist portion of the door panel and that includes a protrusion, a weather strip that is disposed to extend along an outer peripheral edge of the door panel and that has a hole portion with which the protrusion is engaged, and a door trim that is disposed to cover the corner piece. The protrusion has a hollow structure and includes an outer peripheral side wall, and an opening is provided in a part of the outer peripheral side wall.
End Cover Member for Outbelt of Door for Vehicle and Fastening Structure for Outbelt and Glass Run of Door Using the Same
An embodiment end cover member for an outbelt of a vehicle door includes a cover part configured to cover a portion where an end of the outbelt and an end of a glass run abut each other, an upper body positioned on an upper end of a panel mounted with a window glass, a lower body positioned below the upper body, the lower body including a locking hook locked and fixed to the panel, wherein the upper body and the locking hook vertically grip the panel to be fixed to the panel, and a connection part connecting the upper body to the lower body.
HEATING SEAL FOR A WINDOW OF A VEHICLE
A seal for a window of a vehicle, in particular for a motor vehicle, this seal comprising: a body which is generally elongated; at least one flocking located on a surface of said body and extending along the body, and at least one multilayer heating film which is generally elongated along said body and which is interposed between the flocking and said surface of said body, this heating film comprising: at least two electrically conductive straight strips which extend parallel to each other and to said axis, at a distance from each other, and which are intended to be connected to an electrical circuit, and at least one resistive heating track which extends between said strips and is connected to these strips.
