Wire, wire manufacturing method, and vehicle door
A wire including a wire body that is made of metal, and a protector that is made of resin, that covers an outer periphery of the wire body, and that is integrally molded with the wire body.
Cable reinforcement for vehicle doors
A vehicle includes a first pillar and a second pillar spaced from the first pillar along a vehicle-longitudinal axis. A rotational actuator is disposed at the first pillar. The rotational actuator is fixed relative to the first pillar. A cable is engaged with the rotational actuator and is elongated along the vehicle-longitudinal axis to the second pillar. The cable is moveable to a deployed position by the rotational actuator and is under tension in the deployed position.
CABLE REINFORCEMENT FOR VEHICLE DOORS

The rotational actuator is fixed relative to the first pillar. A cable is engaged with the rotational actuator and is elongated along the vehicle-longitudinal axis to the second pillar. The cable is moveable to a deployed position by the rotational actuator and is under tension in the deployed position.
Liftgate reinforcement arrangements
A liftgate structure having a structural inner panel with an outside surface and an inner surface having a lower perimeter surface area extending across substantially the entire width of the structural inner panel. The structural inner panel includes a wiper motor housing recess formed on the inner surface. A plurality of brackets are connected to the outside surface of the structural inner panel, where each of the brackets has at least one friendly hole. The liftgate structure further includes a tether having 2 ends each having at least one over molded retainer for connecting the tether to a wiper motor housing positioned within the wiper motor housing recess of the structural inner panel. Additionally the tether is positioned through each of the at least one friendly holes of the plurality of brackets.
VEHICLE BACK DOOR
A vehicle back door has a first cord-like member disposed in a door body formed of a resin panel member. The first cord-like member has a wire that is routed in the panel member, a first mounting member that fixes the wire to the panel member, a second mounting member that fixes the wire to the panel member, and a bracket that movably holds an intermediate part between the first mounting member and the second mounting member of the wire.
BUSHING FOR MANUFACTURING STRUCTURAL COMPOSITE PREFORM
Provided is a bushing for manufacturing a three-dimensional composite preform using a tow made of a fiber reinforced polymer. The bushing includes a base plate in which one or more through-holes are formed, and a plurality of spools spaced apart from each other on the base plate. A flat top is formed at an end portion of the spools, and grooves are formed on outer surfaces of the plurality of spools in a circumferential direction thereof.
CABLE REINFORCEMENT FOR VEHICLE DOORS
A vehicle includes a front door and a rear door. A first bracket is fixed to the front door, and a second bracket is fixed to the rear door. A front cable extends from the first bracket away from the second bracket along a vehicle-longitudinal axis. A rear cable extends from the second bracket away from the first bracket along the vehicle-longitudinal axis. A linear actuator is fixed to one of the first bracket or the second bracket and is extendable to the other of the first bracket or the second bracket.
Bodywork part comprising a lock loop
A bodywork part of a motor vehicle includes a main body of plastic material and at least one structural reinforcement fastened at least partially to a first part main body. The piece also includes at least one connecting member of the first part and of a second part of the main body including an end, a portion of which forms a lock loop around a clamping element so as to secure the connecting member, the structural reinforcement and the first part.
SIDE IMPACT RESTRAINT PROTECTION SYSTEM FOR A VEHICLE
A side impact restraint protection system for a vehicle includes first and second side safety structures and first and second structural elements of a vehicle body structure. The first and second side safety structures are respectively connected to a first side door and a second side door. The first and second side doors are arranged to cover a common single door opening of the vehicle body structure. The first structural element is in a position in front of the door opening and the second structural element is in a position behind the door opening in a longitudinal direction. In the closed door position, the first and second side safety structures are releasably connected to each other via a connecting device, and the first and second side safety structures are respectively connected to the first and second structural elements via a first connection member and a second connection member.
