RainCatch: a car door umbrella
The RainCatch is primarily designed to protect vehicle passengers when opening a car door during rainy weather. In the time it takes to open or close an umbrella then close the door, rain gets onto the door handle, and the passenger gets wet. The RainCatch solves the timing dilemma of the transition between outside to inside the vehicle during bad weather. The RainCatch acts as a protective covering. The design features two pieces of stabilizer covered on both sides with waterproof nylon. It is 135 cm wide when flat to accommodate most door opening widths. The removable RainCatch has six velcro attachments that hang from the headliner and door frame of a car for seamless entry and exit. The accordion design and a drawstring allow it to close and fold with the door's motion. It can be used on both sides of a car and on front and rear doors.
Retractable umbrella
The present invention relates to a retractable umbrella that can be attached above a door that opens to allow people to exit or enter an enclosure, such as, a bus, airplane, train, house, building, and the like. The retractable umbrella comprises several frames to which umbrella sheets are attached and that nest within one another within a housing that is attached to said enclosure. With a switch or button, a motor linearly displaces a shaft that displaces each of said frames out of the housing so as to provide protection for people from the rain as they exit or enter said enclosure.
Closure panel with increased weather-blocking capacity
A vehicle includes a body that defines an aperture. A closure panel is coupled to the body and is movable between open and closed positions. The closure panel covers the aperture when the closure panel is in the closed position. A support member has first and second ends. The first end is coupled to the body. The second end is coupled to the closure panel. The support member is operable between compressed and extended positions. The extended position corresponds with the open position. A panel assembly is coupled to an interior surface of the closure panel. The panel assembly includes a first, second, and third panels. The first and second panels are rotatably coupled to a mounting structure. The third panel is slidably coupled to the mounting structure. The first, second, and third panels are each movable between a stowed position and a deployed position.
CAR WING TYPE RAINWATER SHIELD DEVICE
The present invention relates to a car wing type rainwater shield device that is configured to have bat wing-like shields unfolded to the outsides of a car when it rains, while the shields are being controlled in such a manner as to be moved up and down according to the amount of rain. The car wing type rainwater shield device includes: shield bodies located on both top sides of a car; a rainwater sensor located on one side of the car to sense changes in an outside environment of the car; and a controller adapted to produce a driving signal for the shield bodies according to a signal inputted by a user's terminal or a signal value measured by the rainwater sensor and to control upward and downward movements of the shield bodies and a degree of unfolding of the shield bodies according to the signal value measured by the rainwater sensor in a state where the shield bodies are driven.
Vehicle integrated rain guard
A retractable visor/rain guard system for a vehicle, for being selectively deployed to cover an upper region of a vehicle window of the vehicle. The visor system includes at least one extendable and retractable panel that is movable into or out of a channel formed in a roof section of the vehicle. It also includes a moving mechanism that engages the at least one panel and drives the at least one panel in and out from the channel in a direction and with such orientation, that the at least one panel moves initially horizontally and then at least partially over a window frame of a door of the vehicle when the door is in a closed position such that the at least one panel extends on an outside of and spaced away from the upper region of the vehicle window, to provide protection from inclement weather elements.
Door visor
Disclosed is door visor mounted on a vehicle having a door without an upper frame, the door visor including a body portion which includes: a molding portion mounted on a vehicle body of the vehicle; and a visor portion connected to the molding portion and covering a portion of an upper portion of a door window in a state of being spaced apart from the door window based on a state where the door of the vehicle is closed and the door window of the door is closed.
Rack mounted weather shield
The rack mounted weather shield is an awning. The rack mounted weather shield is configured for use with an automobile. The rack mounted weather shield attaches to a cargo rack. The rack mounted weather shield creates a weather protected space along a side of the automobile. The rack mounted weather shield is used for entering and exiting the automobile in inclement weather. The rack mounted weather shield extends and retracts. The rack mounted weather shield comprises a plurality of fans, a plurality of control circuits, and a remote control. Each of the plurality of fans creates the weather protected space on a side of the automobile. Each of the plurality of control circuits extends and retracts an individual fan selected from the plurality of fans. The remote control is a radio frequency device that controls the operation of the plurality of control circuits.
Privacy and weather shield
A privacy and weather shield for use with an automobile having a side door includes a canopy including first and second panels pivotally coupled together and each having opposed front and rear edges, respectively, each panel having a framework covered by a waterproof material. The canopy includes a runner slidably coupled to a shaft and a plurality of stretchers are operatively coupled to the runner and to the canopy such that movement of the runner causes the stretchers to move the canopy between a stowed configuration in which the panels are folded/stowed and a deployed configuration in which the panels are extended/deployed. The canopy may be secured atop an automobile cab and door with an elastic fastener extending between the runner and the side door of the automobile. First and second curtains may be releasably coupled to the canopy.
