A vehicle removable panel system including a fixed vehicle structure and one or more removable panels configured to removably engage with the fixed vehicle structure. The vehicle removable panel system providing increased configurability, modularity, and functionality and being easily configurable by a single user without the use of tools. The vehicle removable panel system including a seal with moisture resistance and edges suitable for sealing the removable vehicle panels to other vehicle components including the fixed vehicle structure.

In a first aspect, the present invention relates to a support system for mounting a load to a removable vehicle canopy on a vehicle, comprising a pair of support frames configured to be installed on opposing internal side walls of the removable vehicle canopy, a pair of support feet configured to be installed on an internal surface of the removable vehicle canopy, and a plurality of mounting elements on an external surface of the canopy and arranged for mounting the load thereto, each of the support frames and support feet having one of the plurality of mounting elements affixed thereto by a mechanical fastener extending through a hole in the canopy, wherein the support system is configured to be installable onto the removable vehicle canopy while the canopy is mounted to the vehicle, such that when the canopy having the support system installed is mounted to the vehicle, the support system substantially distributes the mounted load into the vehicle and substantially inhibits distribution into or through the canopy. The invention further includes a second aspect being a method of installation of an embodiment of the first aspect.

A canopy system may comprise a frame mountable to the vehicle so as to extend over the tray of the vehicle; a cover, the cover may be configured to extend over the frame. The frame may have supports configured to attach to the vehicle. The cover may be attachable to at least one of the supports of the frame and may have a roof portion, a front portion, opposing side portions and a rear portion. At least one of the opposing side portions and the rear portion may be partially detachable from the cover to provide access to the tray of the vehicle. The supports may have bracket members attached to ends thereof and the bracket members may be configured to be supported on top of side walls of the vehicle. The bracket members may be attached to an inner surface of the side walls of the vehicle.

A tarp for a vehicle bed is developed for engagement with a reel that is rotated by a motor for rolling and unrolling the tarp across a vehicle bed. A tonneau system for a cargo compartment of a vehicle comprises a tonneau frame assembly and a tonneau cover removably connected to the tonneau frame assembly. The tonneau cover comprises an elastic material that allows it to stretch over cargo loaded into the cargo compartment. The tonneau cover exerts a compressive force on the cargo to hold the cargo in place while the vehicle is in motion.
