GOLF CART FOLDABLE REAR ENCLOSURE

A rearwardly extending golf cart enclosure is disclosed. The golf cart enclosure is movable from a stored position to a deployed position which covers the golf bag storage area of the golf cart. The enclosure includes a plurality of struts which are substantially the same size. The enclosure is mounted to the golf cart rear roof supports via a pair of mounting wings or brackets. The mounting wings include a cam member rotatably mounted to a lower end of the mounting wing. The cam member includes a slot which allows at least one strut to move within the slot as the cam member is rotated to store or deploy the enclosure. The enclosure is mounted to an underside of the golf cart roof such that in the stored position, the enclosure fits underneath the golf cart roof and is protected from the elements or sun by a rear end of the golf cart roof. A metallic member provided on the mounting wing is magnetically coupled to a magnet mounted in the enclosure cover to releasably secure the enclosure in the stored position.

A tent assembly including a trailer, a support structure attached to the trailer, and a canvas connected to the support structure. The trailer has a first sidewall, a second sidewall, and a floor extending between the first and second sidewalls. The floor has a loading end and a hitching end. The support structure includes a first support base positioned on the first sidewall, a second support base positioned on the second side wall, and a plurality of support members extending from the first support base to the second support base. The support members are movable between a collapsed position adjacent the hitching end to provide a loading space at the loading end, and an open position where the plurality of support members are in a spaced apart relationship to support the canvas and form an enclosure over the floor of the trailer.

Edge-stowable tent for trailer system

A tent stowable around edges of a flatbed trailer to leave the floor of the flatbed trailer open for cargo and motor toys. The edge-stowable tent is supported internally by three rotationally deployable squared-off U-shaped supports. To be stowed, the tent and tent supports rotate to align with the front top edge and front portions of side top edges of the flatbed trailer. To be deployed, the tent and tent supports rotate to bring the rear edge of the tent to the rear edge of the flatbed trailer. Opposite legs of U-shaped tent supports are coupled to respective mounting supports on each side of the trailer, and rotate about aligned right-angled flanges to erect the tent. Support bars, attached to the top surfaces of front and side trailer walls or frame, support fasteners for bottom edges of the tent. The tent is stowed and erected by various means.

A retractable canopy assembly includes a retractable canopy frame having a first bow, a second bow, and a pair of connecting segments. The first bow, second bow, and connecting segments may be coupled with a fixed frame. In a first, open position of the retractable canopy frame, a canopy carried by the retractable canopy frame covers and protects contents within a transport apparatus to which the retractable canopy frame is coupled. In a second, closed position of the retractable canopy frame, the first bow, second bow, and pair of connecting segments generally align with respective portions of the fixed frame.

Retractable canopy for a vehicle

A retractable canopy for a vehicle, the retractable canopy moving independently of a vehicle roll bar being retracted or raised. Canopies for weather protection both from excessive exposure to the sun and from precipitation are commonly used on many types of vehicles, which in many cases may be motorized. For safety reasons, and often also legal requirements, these vehicles may be equipped with a roll bar or similar structure to protect the operator of the vehicle from injury in the event that the vehicle rolls over. When the vehicle encounters a low-lying obstruction, the canopy may be quickly lowered to enable the vehicle to travel underneath and past the obstruction, after which the canopy may be quickly raised again. Raising or lowering of the canopy is independent of whether the roll bar is raised or lowered, and raising or lowering of the roll bar is independent of the canopy position.

An open-air car canopy and cover assembly and method of operation provides a rearwardly extending canopy that shields an uncovered rear deck of an open-air car from a deployed position, and when in an undeployed position, the panels retract, becoming limp and folding upon themselves. An upper pocket covers the panel folds in the undeployed position by encapsulating the panels and the rotatable supporting bracket. Lateral and rear flaps having fasteners and rear flap fasteners retain the panels out of the rear sight line and side openings of the open-air car. A roof mount detachably attaches the canopy to the roof of the open-air car with a curved flange that hooks over a roof support structure, and metallic tensioned hooks that hook under the roof support structure. A tensioned hinge member is operable with rotatable supporting bracket to retain canopy in a fixed position between deployed and undeployed positions.
