DEVICE FOR VENTILATING THE INTERIOR OF A MOTOR VEHICLE
The invention relates to a device (12) for ventilating the interior of a motor vehicle, preferably a rooflight device, for a motor vehicle. The device (12) has a frame (16) with a ventilation opening (44), a first rotating element (28) for rolling up and rolling down a first roller blind (30), and a second rotating element (32) for rolling up and rolling down a second roller blind (34). The first rotating element (28) and the second rotating element (32) lie at least partially overlappingly on the same side in relation to the ventilation opening (44) and in relation to a vertical axis. The device (12) can thus preferably be designed with a particularly shallow depth in order not to restrict the headroom.
SLIDING LATCH MECHANISM
A structure, for example a vehicle roof, may define an opening receiving one or more removable panels. The removable panels may each include a panel body configured to cover the opening, and a plurality of latches. The latches may each be positioned adjacent a respective edge of the body and configured to translate between different positions. The removable panel may also include an actuator and a plurality of latch links, with each latch link having a first end connected to a corresponding one of the latches, and each latch link having a second end operably linked with the actuator. Rotation of the actuator may drive each of the latches from an open position of the latch to a closed position, while rotation of the actuator in an opposite direction may drive each of the latches from the closed position of the latch to the open position of the latch.
Cover for a Vehicle Roof, and Method for Producing a Cover
A cover for a vehicle roof may have a panel with a surface, a functional insert which is of flexible design, and a foamed-on plastics structure. The functional insert may have two contact regions, which are spaced apart from one another and which are each in direct contact with the surface. The foamed-on plastics structure fixes the functional insert to the panel.
Grab handle assembly
A grab handle assembly for a vehicle includes first and second anchoring features coupled to a vehicle surface. A rail extends between the first and second anchoring features in a spaced relationship with the vehicle surface. A slot is defined by the rail and configured to receive a key feature for attachment of the key feature to the rail.
Modular and Collapsible Vehicle Frame for Attaching to a Vehicle Body
Apparatus and associated methods relate to a modular vehicle roof frame with at least two support members having at an upper end at least one coupling member through which the support member is axially assembled and releasably coupled to a plurality of top frame members such that each top frame member is releasably coupled to a plurality of support members. In an illustrative example, when the frame is assembled the support members may be substantially vertical and the top frame members may be substantially horizontal. When the frame is coupled to a vehicle the coupling members may, for example, be oriented substantially parallel to a longitudinal axis of the vehicle. The frame may be assembled, for example, by alternately assembling top frame members and support members. Various embodiments may advantageously allow a disassembled frame to be stored within a small sized container suitable for various ground shipping services.

A slot is defined by the rail and configured to receive a key feature for attachment of the key feature to the rail.
Construction machine, in particular a road construction machine, and method for adjusting a flexible lateral wall element of a lateral weather protection device of a construction machine
The present invention relates to a construction machine, in particular a road construction machine, comprising a machine frame, an operator platform arranged on said machine frame with an operator work-place, an operator platform roof, which is, in particular, height-adjustable, and a vertically extending lateral weather protection device for an operator located on the operator platform. The present invention also relates to a method for adjusting a flexible lateral wall element adjustable between a pull-in position and a pull-out position, which is part of a lateral weather protection device of a construction machine.
