Hydrostatic transaxle
A hydrostatic transaxle includes: a casing that is provided with an openable and closable filter insertion port and is filled with hydraulic oil; a hydraulic continuously variable transmission that is arranged inside the casing; a filter holding member that includes a support base that is a hollow cylindrical portion and oil-tightly partitions an inside of a cylinder and an outside of the cylinder, and a filter connection port that is a hollow cylindrical portion extending from a peripheral side surface of the support base and communicating with the inside of the cylinder, the support base communicating the inside of the cylinder to the port, and arranged between the center section and the casing facing the port; and a filter body that is freely inserted to and removed from the casing via the filter insertion port.
Hydraulic transaxle
A hydraulic transaxle facilitates mounting a parking brake unit which requires no link mechanism and is compact. The parking brake unit includes a brake rotor provided on a rotation shaft and a locking member being displaceable between a first position where the brake rotor is locked and a second position where the brake rotor is unlocked. The locking member includes a locking portion which is engaged in a recess formed in the brake rotor that locks the brake rotor in the first position, and a non-locking portion which is placed at a position corresponding to the recess and which separates from the brake rotor in the second position. The hydraulic transaxle further includes an oil-supply mechanism capable of displacing the locking member to the second position.
Power transmission device
A power transmission device includes a first shaft provided to be rotatable around a first rotational axis of the hydraulic pump driven by the engine. A second shaft is rotatable about the first rotational axis to rotate the power take shaft. A clutch is rotatable about a second rotational axis that is substantially parallel to the first rotational axis and is vertically below the first rotational axis. The clutch has a first rotating portion and a second rotating portion arranged to face each other in the second rotational axis. A first rotating portion is connectable to and separable from the second rotating portion. The first rotation transmission mechanism is configured to transmit rotation of the first shaft to the first rotating portion. A second rotation transmission mechanism is configured to transmit rotation of the second rotating portion to the second shaft.
MILITARY VEHICLE
A military vehicle includes a chassis, an axle, a suspension system, and a driveline. The chassis includes a passenger capsule, a front module coupled to a front end of the passenger capsule, and a rear module coupled to a rear end of the passenger capsule. The axle is supported by the rear module. The suspension system is positioned between the rear module and the axle. The suspension system includes a first gas spring, a second gas spring, a first damper, and a second damper. The first damper and the second damper are cross-plumbed to provide a fluid body roll control function. The driveline is configured to drive the axle. The driveline includes a component having a housing that functions as a structural component of the rear module. The first gas spring, the second gas spring, the first damper, and the second damper are directly coupled to the housing.
Hydromechanical transmission and control method
Methods and systems for a hydromechanical transmission are provided herein. In one example, the transmission system includes a hydraulic pump and a hydraulic motor rotationally coupled in parallel with a first planetary gear set and a second planetary gear set. In the system, sun gears of the planetary gear sets are rotationally coupled to the hydraulic motor, a carrier of the first planetary gear set is rotationally coupled to a first clutch and a second clutch, and a ring gear of the second planetary gear set is rotationally coupled to a third clutch.

ELECTRIC DRIVE APPARATUS FOR VEHICLE
A vehicle electric drive apparatus is provided with a single hydraulic pump and left-side and right-side drive units. The left-side drive unit includes a left-side electric motor and a left-side transmission mechanism. The right-side drive unit includes a right-side electric motor and a right-side transmission mechanism. One of rotary shafts of the left-side transmission mechanism and one of rotary shafts of the right-side transmission mechanism constitute a pair of pump-drive rotary shafts. The single hydraulic pump is connected to the pair of pump-drive rotary shafts through respective one-way clutches, and is to be driven by one of the pump-drive rotary shafts that is rotated at a speed higher than the other of the pump-drive rotary shafts, so as to output a hydraulic pressure.
Military vehicle
A military vehicle includes a passenger capsule, a front module coupled to a front end of the passenger capsule, a rear module coupled to a rear end of the passenger capsule, a front axle coupled to the front module, a rear axle coupled to the rear module, an engine coupled by the front module, a front differential coupled to the front axle, a transaxle, and an actuator. The transaxle is coupled to the engine, the rear axle, and the front differential. The transaxle includes an internal mechanical disconnect that facilitates decoupling the transaxle from the front differential. The actuator is accessible from an exterior of the passenger capsule to engage the internal mechanical disconnect.
Transmission Combination, Traction Drive and Method for Controlling the Transmission Combination
A transmission combination includes a hydrostatic transmission and a mechanical transmission having a clutch and a control device for calibrating a grinding point of the clutch. A traction drive includes the transmission combination. A method includes calibrating the clutch.
TRANSAXLE
A transaxle comprises a hydrostatic transmission (hereinafter, “HST”), an axle, a gear train transmitting power from the HST to the axle, a casing carrying the HST, the gear train and the axle and providing a fluid sump. The casing has an air space over the fluid sump of a gear chamber, a breather cap for ventilation of the air space and for an oil cap is installed on a top part of the casing, and a partition plate is installed right under the breather cap and prevents the fluid sup facing directly to the breather cap.
