PLANETARY GEAR MECHANISM
A planetary gear mechanism is desired in which pinion gears can be inserted between support portions on both sides in the axial direction of the pinion gears after the support portions on both sides in the axial direction of the pinion gears are coupled together. In this planetary gear mechanism, a coupling inner portion of a carrier coupling portion is located between a first sun gear and a second sun gear in the axial direction, and a carrier and the carrier coupling portion are formed so that each pinion gears can be inserted between a first shaft support portion and a second shaft support portion in the axial direction from the outside in the radial direction.
Sequential simulated gear ratio calculation and rev-matching in a hybrid electric vehicle
Systems and methods are provided for simulating rev-matching in hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs). In particular, increased engine response is provided while downshifting during acceleration. The transmission of an HEV may include an electronic control unit that controls the speed of the engine to simulate gears, and increases the speed of the engine responsive to a driver using the gear selector to shift from one of the simulated gears to a lower one of the simulated gears, thereby providing the desired rev-matching experience. The increased engine response can be reflected in a target engine speed that is calculated based on specific gear ratios associated with each of the simulated gears.
Hybrid Powertrain for Vehicle
An embodiment hybrid powertrain for a vehicle includes a first input shaft configured to be interlocked with an engine, a second input shaft configured to be interlocked with a first motor and to be parallel to the first input shaft, a third input shaft configured to be interlocked with a second motor and to be parallel to the second input shaft, an output shaft mounted parallel to the third input shaft, a first selective mesh device configured to transmit power from the second input shaft to the output shaft at multiple different gear ratios, a second selective mesh device configured to transmit the power from the third input shaft to the output shaft at the multiple different gear ratios, and a third selective mesh device configured to transmit the power from the first input shaft to the second input shaft or the third input shaft.
POWERTRAIN FOR A MILD HYBRID VEHICLE AND VEHICLE COMPRISING THE SAME
A powertrain includes an engine; a driveline including a gearbox having an input shaft connected to the engine, an output shaft to be connected to driving wheels of the vehicle and a countershaft for transmitting a rotation of the input shaft to the output shaft which can be coupled to the input shaft; an electric machine; a gear reduction mechanism having a free wheel and at least three separate and rotatable junction elements, the rotational speeds of the junction elements being interdependent but not having a fixed ratio relative to one another:a first junction element that is connected to the electric machine; a second junction element that is connectable to the free wheel; a third junction element that is connected to the countershaft. The torque ratio between the third junction element and the first junction element can be selected from at least two different ratios.
VEHICLE DRIVE DEVICE AND CONTROL METHOD THEREFOR
It is determined whether fuel efficiency of a vehicle is improved by operating a first rotating machine to generate electricity to such an extent that an electrical path amount becomes a desired electrical path amount for controlling an operating point of an engine to a desired operating point and driving and operating a second rotating machine as a second power source, the electrical path amount being a magnitude of electric power in an electrical path through which the electric power is transferred between the first rotating machine and the second rotating machine. When the electronic control device determines that the fuel efficiency of the vehicle is improved, the first rotating machine is operated to generate electricity to such an extent that the electrical path amount becomes the desired electrical path amount and the second rotating machine is driven and operated as the second power source.
