A control unit for an automatic transmission of a vehicle is provided. The vehicle includes a gear selection operating element which allows a user of the vehicle to set different drive positions of the transmission, but not individual gears, by actuating the gear selection operating element. The control unit is configured to determine that a drive position L has been set using the gear selection operating element, and in response thereto, the control unit is also configured to provide a graphical user interface on a screen of the vehicle. The user interface allows a manual gear shift of the transmission.
METHOD FOR CONTROLLING AN AUTONOMOUS DRIVING CONFIGURATION OR DRIVING ASSISTANCE CONFIGURATION
The present disclosure relates to a method for controlling an autonomous driving configuration or driving assistance configuration comprising at least two adjustable parameters. The method includes, at an electronic device with a display, displaying on the display a user interface. The user interface includes a graphical representation of a current setting of the at least two adjustable parameters associated with the autonomous driving configuration or driving assistance configuration. The method further includes detecting via one or more input devices, a user input directed towards a first adjustable parameter of the at least two adjustable parameters, and updating the graphical representation on the display based on the detected user input. More specifically, the updating of the graphical representation is done by modifying the current setting of the first parameter of the at least two adjustable parameters and modifying at least one characteristic of a second adjustable parameter.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING OPERATION OF ONE OR MORE ACCESSORIES FOR A VEHICLE
A system comprising an interface module (IM) for receiving input and generating outputs, the IM being associated with processor (17) and memory (19); a controller module (18) (CM) that is operable independently of and communicatively connected to the IM and that is associated with processor (20) and memory (22) and that receives inputs and generates outputs to control accessories wherein each memory stores a copy of a parameter list (38) and rules governing generation of the outputs, wherein each of the IM and CM is configured such that responsive to each input, the processor of the respective module IM, CM defines a state in the associated copy of the list and communicates with the other module IM, CM to cause the state to be defined in the other copy, wherein each rule requires a state to be present in the list for generation of an associated output by each module.
MULTIFUNCTIONAL SWITCH DEVICE
A multifunctional switch device for operating a plurality of vehicle functions and services including an adjustment member which is a rotary-push-pull actuator; and an upper casing and a lower casing that together enclose a stationary inner body; an inner cover rotatable based on the rotation of the adjustment member; a pin; an electronic card; and an upper dome positioned on an upper surface of the electronic card. The multifunctional switch device further includes a lower dome positioned on a lower surface of the electronic card to generate an actuating signal for performing an assigned function. When the adjustment member and thus the pin are pulled in upwards direction, through the +y direction of the multifunctional switch device, the lower dome is also pulled up and come into contact with the lower surface of the electronic card under an action of an applied pulling force.
Facilitating interaction with a vehicle touchscreen using haptic feedback
Techniques are described for interacting with a vehicle touchscreen. According to one or more embodiments, a system is provided comprising a processor that executes computer executable components stored in at least one memory, including a display control component that selects graphical touch controls to include in a graphical user interface (GUI) for rendering on the touchscreen based on activation of a haptic feedback mode for interfacing with the touchscreen, wherein the graphical touch controls correspond to controls for one or more applications or functions associated with the vehicle. The system further comprising a positioning component that determines a location of a finger on or over the touchscreen relative to the graphical touch controls as displayed on the touchscreen, and a haptic feedback component that causes a vibration unit of the vehicle to provide vibration feedback based on the location corresponding to a graphical touch control of the graphical touch controls.
VEHICLE OPERATION INPUT APPARATUS AND VEHICLE OPERATION INPUT METHOD
A vehicle operation input apparatus that detects whether a vehicle is stopped, and controls a display to display a level setting display representing a setting of levels of a device installed in the vehicle in the first position on the display surface in mutually different display aspects depending on whether the vehicle is stopped.
Display control device
A display control device includes a receiving portion configured to receive operation information input to a touch input portion, the touch input portion being located away from a display portion; and a processing portion configured to control display on the display portion in accordance with the operation information that is received by the receiving portion. The processing portion is configured to cause the display portion to display an image in which a cursor is disposed inside a plurality of icons that are circumferentially disposed, and the processing portion is configured to move the cursor to an icon among the plurality of icons, the icon being located in a direction of a slide operation received by the receiving portion.
Vehicle control device and vehicle including the same
Provided are a vehicle control device for controlling one or more displays provided in a vehicle, and a vehicle including the same. The vehicle control device includes a communication unit performing communication with the one or more displays, and a processor controlling, when an event occurs, the one or more displays to display a home button corresponding to the event using the communication unit, wherein the home button is configured to display a preset icon list in response to a touch applied to the home button, and the preset icon list is varied according to the event.
