Vehicular display device and display method for vehicular display device
A vehicular display device includes an image display device that is arranged in front of a driver in a vehicle and configured to display an image. The image displayed in an information display area of the image display device includes an information image displaying information according to a mode selected out of a plurality of modes, and a menu image in which a plurality of titles corresponding to the respective modes are arranged in a lateral direction of the image and for which switching is made between display and hidden-display. When an operating input to switch the modes is made while the menu image is hidden, the image display device displays the menu image, and performs animation display that changes a title displayed as active out of the titles from a title corresponding to a mode before change to a title corresponding to a mode after the change.
Method for operating a vehicle information system and vehicle information system of a vehicle
A method for operating a vehicle information system of a vehicle, wherein an activation signal is received if a preparatory action of a user for putting the vehicle into operation is detected. Graphics data of an activation animation with a first display and a second display is generated as a function of the activation signal and is displayed in a display area. After the activation signal is received, an appearance of the first display is output, wherein the first display includes a first graphics object. A disappearance of the first display and an appearance of the second display are output. Also disclosed is a vehicle information system of a vehicle having a signal-generating unit by which a preparatory action of a user for putting the vehicle into operation is detected, and an activation signal is generated as a function of the detected preparatory action.
Input output device and vehicle comprising the same
The present disclosure relates to an input/output device mounted on a vehicle having a plurality of displays, and the input/output device may include a touch panel configured to sense a touch input, a haptic module configured to generate a tactile effect on the touch panel, a communication unit configured to perform communication with any one of the displays, and a processor configured to set one or more feedback regions on the touch panel based on a screen being displayed on the display, and control the haptic module to generate a tactile effect when a touch is applied to the one or more feedback regions, wherein the one or more feedback regions vary according to the screen being displayed on the display.
DISPLAY SYSTEM IN A VEHICLE
A display system in a vehicle, including: one or more displays; at least one sensor determining a user's line of sight; a controller determining an active zone and a non-active zone of the one or more displays based on the user's line of sight. The one or more displays are configured to operate the active zone at an enhanced level as compared to the non-active zone. There is further provided a controller configured to rank content displayed on one or more displays in a vehicle according to an attention score determined by at least one sensor configured to measure gaze of a user based on the user's line of sight; and a display system including the controller. One of the displays is selected to display the highest ranked content. There is also provided a method of operating one or more displays in a vehicle using the disclosed display systems.
METHOD FOR DISPLAYING SAFETY-RELEVANT INFORMATION ON A DISPLAY DEVICE OF A VEHICLE
The disclosure relates to a method for displaying safety-relevant information on a display device of a vehicle. A speed of the vehicle, environment data representing an environment of the vehicle, a driver reaction time, and an emergency braking reaction time for an emergency braking driver assistance function are input, and used to superimpose an emergency braking marker and a driver intervention marker on the map representing a lane in which the vehicle is travelling in the display device. The emergency braking marker represents a future point in time and/or future location for an intervention of the emergency braking driver assistance function, and the driver intervention marker represents a future point in time and/or a future location for the latest possible intervention of the driver prior to the intervention of the emergency braking driver assistance function.
Method for controlling a display apparatus for a motor vehicle, and motor vehicle having a display apparatus
A display apparatus for a motor vehicle includes a display surface. A piece of information is displayed on the display surface. In order to offer an optimum display and detectability of the information in different situations, the display surface is arranged on a movably mounted closure device of the motor vehicle and a display of the information is controlled subject to a degree of opening of the closure device detected by using a position sensor of the motor vehicle.
METHOD FOR OPERATING A DRIVER ASSISTANCE SYSTEM OF A TRANSPORTATION VEHICLE AND TRANSPORTATION VEHICLE
A method for operating a driver assistance system of the transportation vehicle to assist a driver while the transportation vehicle is travelling. A virtual transportation vehicle is displayed to the driver of the transportation vehicle on at least one display element wherein the virtual transportation vehicle is varied in respect of its size and/or position and/or its appearance on the display element while the virtual transportation vehicle is displayed on the display element. A transportation vehicle having a driver assistance system.
INTEGRATED FUNCTIONALITY OF CENTER DISPLAY, DRIVER DISPLAY, AND SHARED-EXPERIENCE DISPLAY
Systems and methods for selecting a control mode to launch an application in a vehicle are described. For one embodiment, a system for selecting control modes for launching applications in a vehicle with a dashboard screen can include a computing device embedded in the vehicle, the computing device connected to the dashboard screen and a control display; and an operating system installed on the computing device, the operating system running a multi-display controller and one or more applications. The multi-display controller is to receive a request from the control display for launching an application, determine a control mode used to launch the application based on an integration level indicator of the application, and launch the application in the determined control mode. A metabar and a global widget can be created on top of the dashboard screen. The metabar is permanently displayed across the dashboard screen, and can contain environmental and driving-related information. The global widget appears contextually in response to a state change of a system component in the vehicle.
VEHICLE-MOUNTED DEVICE OPERATION SYSTEM
A vehicle-mounted device operation system, includes: an operating part that is located in a vehicle cabin, and configured to be subjected to operation for manually operating a vehicle-mounted device; a sound collector that is located in the vehicle cabin, and configured to collect speech of an occupant; and a processor configured to determine whether a command to the vehicle-mounted device is included in a content of the speech of the occupant collected by the sound collector, activate the vehicle-mounted device according to the command, when the processor determines that the command to the vehicle-mounted device is included in the content of the speech of the occupant, and highlight the operating part for the vehicle-mounted device activated by the processor.
NOISE ADAPTIVE WARNING DISPLAYS AND AUDIO ALERT FOR VEHICLE
An adaptive warning system and method for adapting an alert to a vehicle operator based on noise in a vehicle interior compartment, includes a loudspeaker, a dashboard display, a noise level sensing device for providing a noise value, and an electronic processor having a memory. The electronic processor is configured to compare the noise value with a first threshold and when the noise value is not greater than the first threshold, provide an audio alert at regular sound level and providing a visual alert on a dashboard display at regular indicia size in a normal alert mode. The electronic processor is also configured to when the noise value is greater than the first threshold, provide the audio alert at an increased sound level and provide the visual alert on the dashboard display having an increased indicia size in a second enhanced alert mode.
