Method and device for operating a display system comprising a head-mounted display
A method operates a display system having a pair of data glasses in a motor vehicle. The method transmits brightness information, especially supplied by a driver assistance system, to the data glasses, and adapts, depending on the transmitted brightness information, an aperture opening and/or an exposure time of a data glasses camera which is used to recognize a position and orientation of the data glasses.
DISPLAY DEVICE FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE, METHOD FOR OPERATING A DISPLAY DEVICE, CONTROL UNIT, AND MOTOR VEHICLE
A display device for a motor vehicle includes a first, planar display element arranged in a first display plane of the display device, and at least one further, planar display element, each arranged in a further display plane of the display device, upstream of the first display element in a viewing direction of a user. Together with the first display element, the at least one further display element forms a multilayered combination of display elements. Each of the at least one further display element has an at least partly transparent display surface and a visual protection element for setting a degree of a transparency of at least one region of the display element.
CONVENIENT DEVICE CONTROL APPARATUS FOR VEHICLE AND METHOD THEREOF
A convenient device control apparatus for a vehicle and a method thereof are provided. The convenient device control apparatus includes a light source that emits light at a specified frequency and an electroencephalogram (EEG) sensor that measures an EEG signal of a user. An EEG analyzer analyzes a frequency of the EEG signal measured by the EEG sensor and a controller operates a convenient device in the vehicle based on the frequency of the EEG signal analyzed by the EEG analyzer.
INFORMATION DISPLAY APPARATUS
In an information display apparatus displaying information onto a vehicle, an information display apparatus capable of acquiring a lot of pieces of image information while reducing point-of-view motion of a viewer is provided. An information display apparatus displaying information onto a vehicle includes a first information display apparatus displaying image information of a virtual image by allowing a windshield glass of a vehicle to reflect light, a second information display apparatus acquiring a practical image by scanning the windshield glass with laser light using a MEMS element and a third information display apparatus using an instrument panel of the vehicle.
OPERATING SYSTEM WITH THREE-DIMENSIONAL DISPLAY FOR A VEHICLE
An operating system includes a display device having at least two planar display regions, which are arranged one behind the other in a viewing direction of an operator and extend transversely to the viewing direction. The operating system can be used to control a plurality of apparatuses of a vehicle.
VEHICLE DRIVING ASSISTANCE SYSTEM, VEHICLE DRIVING ASSISTANCE METHOD, AND VEHICLE DRIVING ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
Vehicle driving assistance systems, methods, and programs display a recommended driving marking superimposed on a real view on a display. The recommended driving marking includes (i) a recommended route marking representing a recommended route, the recommended route being a traveling route with a relatively low likelihood of interference with one or a plurality of obstacles present in a traveling direction of a vehicle; and (ii) a recommended speed marking representing a recommended speed index, the recommended speed index being an index related to a travel speed recommended when the vehicle travels the recommended route. The recommended route marking and the recommended speed marking are displayed so as to be associated with each other.
Vehicle display device
A vehicle display device includes a tubular member disposed such that an opening edge thereof faces a driver side, a projection unit that projects light toward an inner space of the tubular member, a semitransparent mirror that is disposed in the inner space of the tubular member and reflects light projected from the projection unit toward the driver side to cause a virtual image to be displayed, an image display unit that is disposed on a side opposite to the driver side with respect to the semitransparent mirror in the tubular member and displays an image, and a design unit that is disposed between the image display unit and the semitransparent mirror in the inner space of the tubular member and has a stereoscopic shape.
SUPERIMPOSED-IMAGE DISPLAY DEVICE AND COMPUTER PROGRAM
Superimposed-image display devices and programs superimpose an image on a surrounding environment in front of a vehicle so that the image can be visually identified. The image includes at least one of a first guidance image that prompts a driver to change driving operation and a second guidance image that does not prompt a driver to change driving operation. The second guidance image is displayed in a display mode in which the second guidance image more harmonizes in at least one of a location, brightness, and color with the surrounding environment than the first guidance image, the surrounding environment being a superimposition target.
Visual line guidance sheet, visual line guidance system, vehicle lighting apparatus, and vehicle
Provided is a sheet for drawing user's eyes and guiding the line of sight. A visual line guidance sheet is arranged to cover at least a part of a window for a user to look out therethrough, and configured to guide the user's line of sight, by illuminating a partial region on the visual line guidance sheet. The visual line guidance sheet includes an optically transparent substrate layer, a plurality of LED dies, and a wiring pattern. The controller receives from an imager, an image obtained by imaging a region visible by the user through the window, detects an object targeted for visual line guidance, included in the image, and illuminates the LED dies on the visual line guidance sheet, corresponding to a position of the object.
Road Vehicle and Method for Reengaging Manual Driving
A road vehicle including a transmitter of a real image of an exterior environment of the road vehicle, and a driving assistant including an assistance display, a driving automaton, and a mask able to evolve between a masking configuration and a non-masking configuration, the driving assistant toggling between a manual mode and an automatic mode of the driving automaton and being configured to implement a phase of reengagement of the manual mode, including a first time period, throughout all of which the mask is maintained in the masking configuration, the assistance display broadcasting a symbolic representation of the exterior environment, and a second time period throughout all of which the mask is maintained in the non-masking configuration.
