DISPLAY DIMMING CONTROL APPARATUS, DISPLAY DIMMING CONTROL METHOD, RECORDING MEDIUM, AND DISPLAY DIMMING SYSTEM
A display dimming control apparatus includes: a display image generation unit that determines a display device position that is a position of a display device that emits image light in order to display an image on a transparent screen from a display apparatus having the display device; and a dimming processing control unit that controls a dimming apparatus having a plurality of dimming elements. The plurality of dimming elements independently control a dimming level of the screen for each of a plurality of tiles obtained by virtually dividing the screen The dimming processing control unit includes a dimming position determination unit that determines one or more dimming elements that control dimming levels of one or more tiles corresponding to a screen display position.
ID-based control unit-key fob pairing
A method for pairing a key fob with a control unit is provided. The key fob executes an ID authenticated key agreement protocol with a pairing device based on a key fob identification to authenticate one another and to generate a first encryption key. The pairing device encrypts a control unit identification using the first encryption key. The key fob receives the encrypted control unit identification transmitted from the pairing device. The key fob then executes an ID authenticated key agreement protocol with the control unit based on the control unit identification to authenticate one another and to generate a second encryption key. The key fob then receives an operational key transmitted from the control unit that is encrypted with the second encryption key.
Information provision device and information provision method
An information provision device and an information provision method. Each of the information provision device and information provision method includes projecting an image light to a light transmission member so as to display a for-driver information image, sensing a relative distance of an object to be detected existing around the mobile object in the direction of travel, detecting a location of a viewpoint of the driver, and changing a position at which an object image indicating the object to be detected is displayed according to a result of the detecting so as to change a perception distance of the driver influenced by a motion parallax of the object image according to the relative distance of the object to be detected in the direction of travel.
AUTOMATIC BRIGHTNESS CONTROL OF ELECTRONIC DISPLAYS
A system includes first and second light sensors, first and second electronic displays and a control circuit. The first light sensor may face a first direction and generates a first light intensity signal by logarithmic light sensing. The first electronic display may face the first direction and has a first brightness responsive to a first brightness signal. The second light sensor may face a second direction and generates a second light intensity signal by logarithmic light sensing. The second direction may be substantially opposite the first direction. The second electronic display may face the second direction and has a second brightness responsive to a second brightness signal. The control circuit may be configured to generate the first and second brightness signals that automatically adjust the first and second brightness of the first and second electronic displays using the first light intensity signal and the second light intensity signal.
DISPLAY SYSTEM FOR USE IN CONJUNCTION WITH DRIVER PROTECTION APPARATUS
A vehicle (2), said vehicle including driving protection apparatus (14) which is located at or adjacent to the position of the driver (10) when operating the vehicle and wherein there is provided, in location with or adjacent to the said driver protection apparatus, visual display means which are selectively operated to provide an indication of the condition of the vehicle and/or driver of the vehicle and/or the environment in which the vehicle is located at a particular instant of time.
HEAD-UP DISPLAY DEVICE FOR VEHICLE
A projection unit is configured to provide at least one of a first image adapted to be presented to the inside of a vehicle and a second image adapted to be presented to the outside of the vehicle. A dimming film is configured to be placed in at least one of a first state in which first light corresponding to the first image is directed to the inside of the vehicle and a second state in which second light corresponding to the second image is directed to the outside of the vehicle. A control unit is configured to place the dimming film in the first state when the first image is provided, and to place the dimming film in the second state when the second image is provided.
LIGHT SOURCE DEVICE, OPTICAL SCANNER, DISPLAY SYSTEM, AND MOBILE OBJECT
A light source device includes a plurality of light sources configured to output a plurality of laser beams of different color components; and circuitry. A ratio in maximum output power between the plurality of laser beams output from the plurality of light sources is variable.
Display arrangement for an instrument cluster
A system and method for adjusting the display of light-based content of a display system includes a display unit. The display unit includes a first layer cooperating with a backlight, a second layer disposed proximate the first layer and a third layer disposed proximate the second layer. At least one microcontroller in communication with the display unit includes a first processing unit configured to receive a dimming level value and a second processing unit. The second processing unit evaluates the dimming level value against a threshold value and adjusts one or more properties of the display unit in response to the measured values.
HEAD-UP DISPLAY APPARATUS
A head-up display apparatus is mounted on a vehicle having a plurality of driving modes with different degrees of automation and is configured to display a predetermined content in a predetermined display region provided in front of a driver seat. The head-up display apparatus is configured to display different contents depending on the plurality of driving modes.
DISPLAY DEVICE, PROGRAM, IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD, DISPLAY SYSTEM, AND MOVING BODY
Disclosed is a display device for displaying a virtual image so as to be visually perceived by an occupant of a moving body through a transparent member. The display device includes an image generator configured to generate an image to be displayed as a virtual image; an orientation information acquisition unit configured to acquire information on an orientation of the moving body; and a display change processor configured to change the display of the virtual image in accordance with the information on the orientation acquired by the orientation information acquisition unit.
