A seat control apparatus is provided. The seat control apparatus may include: one or more processors, and memory storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the seat control apparatus to detect a collision of a vehicle, output, based on the detection, a collision occurrence signal; determine a seat operation mode of the vehicle between an automatic mode and a manual mode, output, based on the determination, one of an automatic mode seat operation request command or a manual mode seat operation request command, determine, based on the collision occurrence signal, whether to transmit one of the automatic mode seat operation request command or the manual mode seat operation request command; and drive, based on the one of the automatic mode seat operation request command or the manual mode seat operation request command, one or more seat motors to control a seat of the vehicle.
Power seat operation device and power seat
In a power seat operation device, a slider that is supported so as to be slidable in a radial direction with respect to a dial slides toward the radial direction center of the dial during rotation of the dial. A knob engagement portion that is provided to the slider is thereby disposed between a pair of slider engagement portions that are provided to a knob. This enables rotational operation of the knob to be restricted. However, during rotational operation of the knob, one out of the pair of slider engagement portions opposes the knob engagement portion from toward the radial direction center of the dial. This enables rotational operation of the dial in conjunction with sliding of the slider to be restricted.

In a power seat operation device, a micro switch is attached inside a dial that is rotatably provided to a side face of a power seat. An opening is formed inside the dial, with an operation portion of a knob to operate the micro switch inserted through the opening. There is accordingly a possibility that liquid might infiltrate into the dial, however a channel is formed inside the dial by the dial and the knob. The channel lets liquid flow downward to the lower side of the micro switch so as to discharge the liquid to outside the dial in cases in which liquid has infiltrated into the dial through the opening in a state in which the opening is positioned at the upper side of the micro switch. The channel is partitioned from the micro switch, enabling flow of liquid to the micro switch to be prevented or suppressed.

A seat drive device for a seat in which a seat frame is arranged along an outer shape of the seat and positions of a plurality of seat moving parts are adjustable, the seat drive device including: a motor fixed to an outer portion of the seat frame and having a single output shaft; driving shafts arranged in parallel and receiving output of the motor via a gear; wherein the output shaft of the motor and the driving shafts are arranged in parallel to each other such that an axis of the output shaft of the motor and axes of the driving shafts extend along the outer portion of the seat frame, and each distance between each of the driving shafts and the outer portion of the seat frame is smaller than a distance between the output shaft of the motor and the outer portion of the seat frame.

A module for a vehicle seat comprises a drive cable, an actuator, and a transmission assembly. The actuator is coupled to the transmission assembly to drive the transmission assembly. The drive cable is coupled to the transmission assembly and moves as a result of the actuator being activated.

In one aspect, a switch assembly includes a switch housing that includes one or more compound switches, each comprising a first switch and a second switch embedded within the first switch. Each compound switch includes a first subassembly of constituent parts that includes the first switch and implements a first switching function. Each compound switch also includes a second subassembly of constituent parts embedded within and carried by the first subassembly of constituent parts. The second subassembly of constituent parts includes the second switch and implements a second switching function that is distinct from the first switching function. The switch assembly includes one or more extended plungers and corresponding guiding features that advantageously allow for the use of a single keypad and PCB with respect to the compound switches.
POWER SEAT OPERATION DEVICE AND POWER SEAT
In a power seat operation device, a cam portion formed at a dial base has valleys and peaks that are alternately arranged in a row along a rotation direction of a dial so as to form an undulation in a radial direction. A slider is supported by the dial so as to be slidable in the radial direction. The slider is abutted against the cam portion by biasing force from a roller spring and fits into one out of the valleys so as to retain the dial at one of the rotary positions. During rotational operation of the dial, the slider crosses over at least one out of the peaks while elastically deforming the roller spring and sliding with respect to the dial.
