Pivoting car seat mount
The present invention is a device for facilitating the loading and unloading of a child's car seat, itself installed in either a left seat or a right seat of an automobile. The device comprises a rigid stationary base configured for engaging the seat of the automobile, and a pivotable support configured for selectively receiving and securing the child's car seat thereon. A bottom side of the pivotable support is configured for pivotable sliding on a top side of the stationary base. At least one device locking mechanism is fixed with a rear side of the stationary base for securing to the seat of the automobile. A pair of pivot locking mechanisms detach a latch assembly from the stationary base when an actuator lever is actuated, allowing the pivotable support and car seat to pivot on the stationary base.
Seat assembly
A seat assembly having a seat bottom, a seat back, a seat track, and a rear mounting unit. The seat bottom may be pivotally mounted to the seat back. The seat back may be pivotally mounted to the rear mounting unit. The rear mounting unit may be moveably disposed on the seat track.
Cover adaptable to moveable vehicle seats
A seat cover for a vehicle may include a lower or bench portion sized and configured to extend over a horizontally-oriented top of a bench of a vehicle seat. The lower portion may include a first section and a second section separated by a slit. The seat cover for the vehicle may also include an upper or backrest portion coupled to the lower portion. The upper portion may be sized and configured to extend upwardly over a backrest of the vehicle seat. The seat cover may be divided into vertical sections that correspond to the seats of a bench seat in a vehicle. One or more of the vertical sections may be removable to accommodate movement of the vehicle seats.
Vehicle seat
In order to prevent distortion of slide rails caused by an urging force generated by an urging member in a vehicle tumble seat, a vehicle seat is capable of taking a stowed position in which a seat back 6L is folded onto a seat cushion 5L and the seat cushion 5L together with the folded seat back 6L is rotatably lifted away from a floor 3, and the vehicle seat is configured to include: a support member 31 coupled to the floor; a rotating member 33L rotatably supported by the support member via a support shaft extending in a right-left direction; a lower rail 41 extending in a front-rear direction and coupled at an end to the rotating member so as to be extend literally offset relative to the support shaft; an upper rail 42 slidably supported by the lower rail and coupled to the seat cushion; a coupling device 51 provided at a second end of the lower rail on a side toward the support shaft and capable of selectably connecting to the floor; and an urging device 60 extending the front-rear direction and having one end coupled to the support member and a second end coupled to the lower rail on the side toward the support shaft side, wherein the urging device is configured to be expandable and contractible in a longitudinal direction thereof so as to urge the seat cushion in such a direction as to rotate about the support shaft away from the floor.
VEHICLE HAVING TRANSFORMABLE REAR SEAT
A vehicle includes a cabin interior, a floor, and a tailgate at the rear end of the cabin interior, wherein at least a portion of the tailgate pivots between a vertical closed position and a horizontal open position. The vehicle has a first seat track assembly is supported on the floor in the cabin interior, a second seat track assembly supported on the tailgate, and a seat assembly. The seat assembly including a first seat panel, a second seat panel, a bracket that allows the first seat panel and the second seat panel to pivot between a forward facing position and a rearward facing position, and a guide supporting the bracket on one of the first and second seat track assemblies, wherein the seat assembly may slide rearward along the first seat track assembly onto the second seat track assembly when the tailgate is in the open position.
VEHICLE AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING ARRANGEMENT OF SEATS
A control method of a vehicle is configured to control an arrangement of seats in the vehicle based on a number of occupants, a number of pieces of baggage and a baggage size, where the vehicle includes: a vehicle seat including at least one of a first seat, a second seat or a rear seat; a communicator configured to receive boarding information including information about at least one of the number of occupants or the number of pieces of baggage from a user terminal; and a controller configured to change at least one of a position and a form of the vehicle seat based on the boarding information.
Visibility enhancements for delivery vehicle
A vehicle includes a chassis defining a longitudinal axis, a cab coupled to the chassis, a cargo body coupled to the chassis and positioned rearward of the cab, and a driver seat disposed within the cab. The cab has a first door with a first window and a second door with a second window. When the driver seat is in a position that accommodates an operator being in the 95.sup.th male height percentile, the operator within the driver seat can see out of (i) the first window at a first angle relative to a forward looking direction that is parallel with the longitudinal axis and (ii) the second window at a second angle relative to the forward looking direction. Each of the first angle and the second angle is at least 95 degrees.
Set of seats and motor vehicle comprising such a set of seats
A motor vehicle comprises two front seats aligned in a transverse direction, and at least one rear seat. Said at least one rear seat comprises a seating portion with a seating portion frame, a backrest with a backrest frame. The backrest frame is pivotable relative to the seating portion frame about a first transverse axis, between at least one deployed position for receiving an occupant of the seat and a folded position in which the backrest frame is folded down to face the seating portion frame. Said at least one rear seat is adapted to have a configuration in which said at least one rear seat is in said folded position and the backrest of said at least one rear seat extends at least partly between the two front seats.
Vehicle Seat
In order to prevent distortion of slide rails caused by an urging force generated by an urging member in a vehicle tumble seat, a vehicle seat is capable of taking a stowed position in which a seat back is folded onto a seat cushion and the seat cushion together with the folded seat back is rotatably lifted away from a floor, and the vehicle seat is configured to include a support member coupled to the floor; a rotating member rotatably supported by the support member via a support shaft extending in a right-left direction; a lower rail extending in a front-rear direction and coupled at an end to the rotating member so as to be extend literally offset relative to the support shaft; an upper rail slidably supported by the lower rail and coupled to the seat cushion; a coupling device provided at a second end of the lower rail on a side toward the support shaft and capable of selectably connecting to the floor; and an urging device extending the front-rear direction and having one end coupled to the support member and a second end coupled to the lower rail on the side toward the support shaft side, wherein the urging device is configured to be expandable and contractible in a longitudinal direction thereof so as to urge the seat cushion in such a direction as to rotate about the support shaft away from the floor.
