Seat connection assembly
A vehicle seating assembly includes a seat back. A seat base is coupled to the seat back. A track assembly and the seat base are translatable fore and aft along the track assembly. A rail cartridge slidably engages with the track assembly. An actuation assembly includes a first electrical connector coupled to the rail cartridge and a support member coupled to a second electrical connector. The second electrical connector is operable between engaged and disengaged positions relative to the first electrical connector via a sliding engagement of the support member along opposing grooves of an engagement member. The second electrical connector is actuated via an actuator coupled to the second electrical connector.
SEAT SLIDING DEVICE FOR VEHICLE
A seat sliding apparatus for a vehicle includes a lower rail, an upper rail supported to be movable relative to the lower rail, and a pressing member attached to one of the lower rail and the upper rail via a biasing member. The pressing member constantly presses the other of the lower rail and the upper rail by a biasing force of the biasing member. The lower rail and the upper rail extend in a first direction. The pressing member obliquely presses the other of the lower rail and the upper rail so that force components are generated in both the first direction and in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction.
GEARBOX QUICK CONNECTION FOR LONG RAIL ASSEMBLY
A long rail assembly for use in an automotive vehicle includes a fixed long rail, a rail drive assembly having a drive wheel for transposing the rail drive assembly along the fixed long rail, an upper gearbox attached to a vehicle seat, and an auto-centering quick connection mechanism for operatively coupling a guide pin extending from the upper gearbox to the drive wheel when the vehicle seat is attached to the rail drive assembly. The auto-centering quick connection mechanism further automatically rotates the guide pin to a home position when the vehicle seat is decoupled from the rail drive assembly.
VEHICLE SEAT TRACK POSITION SENSOR ASSEMBLY
A vehicle seat track position sensor assembly is adapted for mounting to a moveable vehicle seat track. The vehicle seat track position sensor assembly comprises a bracket including a plurality of walls defining a central bracket cavity and a plurality of teeth. A sensor body is seated in the central bracket cavity of the bracket and includes another plurality of teeth adapted for engagement with the plurality of teeth on the bracket for securing the sensor body to the bracket. The vehicle seat track position sensor assembly is adapted for mounting into the interior cavity of a moveable vehicle seat track. The plurality of teeth on the sensor body are adapted for advancement relative to and against the teeth of the bracket for locking the vehicle seat track position sensor assembly in the interior cavity of the vehicle seat track at a selected position.
Track system with a support member
A support member may be connectable in a removable and adjustable manner to a track assembly. The support member may include an electrical connector, a contact, and a biasing member. The electrical connector may be adjustable to a first position and a second position. The contact may be connected to the electrical connector and configured to engage a conductor of said track assembly. The contact may be engageable with said conductor when the electrical connector is in the first position. The contact may not be engageable with said conductor when the electrical connector is in the second position. The biasing member may be configured to bias the contact into engagement with said conductor when the electrical connector is in the first position.
Seat slider device
A seat slider device may include: a lower rail attached to a body of a vehicle; and an upper rail attached to a seat and slidable with respect to the lower rail. The upper rail may include: a roller or a slider piece being in contact with a bottom plate of the lower rail; and a protrusion supporting the roller or the slider piece. The protrusion may be integrated with the upper rail.
Seat lifter
A seat lifter includes: an inner link for changing a height position of an inner lower arm with respect to a floor of a vehicle; an outer link for changing a height position of an outer lower arm with respect to the floor, a coupling rod that couples the inner link to the outer link; a planetary gear mechanism capable of causing the coupling rod to rotate relative to the inner lower arm and the outer lower arm; a drive unit capable of driving the planetary gear mechanism; and a power transmission rod that transmits power of the drive unit to the planetary gear mechanism. One of the planetary gear mechanism and the drive unit is disposed outside the outer lower arm in the width direction. The other of the planetary gear mechanism and the drive unit is disposed outside the inner lower arm in the width direction.
Electrical assembly
An electrical assembly includes a support assembly and/or a track assembly. The support assembly may include a first controller and/or a plurality of safety devices. The electrical assembly may include a track assembly and/or a second controller. The first controller and/or the second controller may be configured to control the plurality of safety devices via a conductor of the track assembly. The plurality of safety devices may include a first safety device, a second safety device, and/or a third safety device. The first safety device may include an airbag and/or may be configured to be activated by pyrotechnics. The first safety device may be configured to be activated by a first deployment current pulse. The support assembly may include a first portion that may include a first contact. The track assembly may include a first track that may include the conductor.
Power slide with motor directly connected to lead screw
A novel power slide with a motor directly connected to a lead screw includes a left slide and a right slide each including a top rail, a bottom rail, a power motor, a lead screw, a threaded assembly and a retainer ring. A first slot and a second slot are formed in two ends of the top rail, respectively. The power motor is fixed to a lower surface of the top rail through a motor bracket. The lead screw has an end connected to the power motor and another end rotatably fixed to the lower surface of the top rail. A bottom portion of the threaded assembly is fixedly connected to an upper surface of the bottom rail, and the lead screw horizontally penetrates through the threaded assembly and is in threaded fit with the threaded assembly. The retainer ring is located in the first slot, and a gap is formed between the retainer ring and the first slot.
TRANSLATION ASSEMBLY FOR A VEHICLE
A translation assembly for a vehicle includes a rail assembly that defines a first channel, a second channel, and a central member that extends between the first and second channels. A carriage assembly couples to the rail assembly. The carriage assembly is movable relative to the rail assembly. The carriage assembly includes a first rail engagement structure that extends into the rail assembly and is received within the first channel; a second rail engagement structure that extends into the rail assembly and is received within the second channel; and a carriage housing that is coupled to the first and second rail engagement structures. The carriage housing extends between the first and second rail engagement structures. The carriages assembly also includes one or more drive assemblies that engage with a top surface of the central member of the rail assembly.
