SEAT TRACK ASSEMBLY WITH MEMORY MECHANISM
20220324357 · 2022-10-13 ·

A seat track assembly provides forward and rearward movement of a seat assembly. A latch mechanism allows movement of a movable track between a plurality of positions. A memory mechanism with a memory plate and a memory tab are operable between a home position in which the memory tab is disposed in a recess of the moveable track, and a memory position in which the memory plate is coupled with a plurality of angled teeth to define a selected position. Actuation of the memory mechanism to the memory position unlocks the latch mechanism to allow movement of the movable track in a first direction away from the selected position to an easy-entry position. Movement of the movable track in a second direction from the easy-entry position stops the movable track at the selected position, allowing the latch mechanism to lock and the memory mechanism to return to the home position.

CHILD RESTRAINT SYSTEM WITH POSTURE FIT MECHANISM

The invention is directed to a child seat comprising: an outer shell supporting an inner shell therein, the inner shell and the outer shell together defining a child protection region within the seat; an adjustment mechanism disposed between the inner shell and the outer shell defining a trajectory of movement for the inner shell relative to the outer shell, wherein relative movement between the inner shell and the outer shell along the trajectory of movement adjusts a size and a shape of the child protection region of the seat.

Slide device

A slide device includes a lower rail, an upper rail, a lock member, and a lock release member. The upper rail is coupled to the lower rail in a movable manner. The lock member is configured to restrict movement of the upper rail relative to the lower rail. The lock release member is configured to release a lock by the lock member. The lock release member includes a bracket fixed to the upper rail. A cover is attached to the bracket.

A system for locking at least one continuous-adjustment slide for a vehicle seat, comprising; the at least one slide, an over-center locking system comprising: a rail, fixed relative to the first slide element, resilient means generating return forces configured to provide a switchover to locking of a first locking member so as to provide an over-center of the first locking member on the rail and a switchover to locking of a second locking member providing an over-center of the second locking member on the rail. According to the present disclosure, an unlocking mechanism comprises an electric actuator and a transmission configured to provide the switchover to unlocking of the first locking member and the switchover to unlocking of the second locking member, against the return forces of the resilient means.

Seat Positioning System
20240239245 · 2024-07-18 ·

A system for positioning a seat and locking it into a desired position. The system may include a seat mounted to a plurality of movable track members that allow an occupant to position a seat. The track members may be locked in place with one or more spring biased locking mechanisms that selectively engage the track members to keep the seat fixed in a desired position. The locking members may be engaged or disengaged using a series of cables. In one embodiment, a master cable is run to a handle on the side of the seat, which can be manipulated by an occupant to selectively engage and disengage the locking mechanisms.

Device for Adjusting Tension in a Cable

A cable tensioner for adjusting the tension in various cables. It may be used with a variety of cables including those that have flexible members routed through bendable sheaths. The cable tensioner includes a worm gear arrangement located within a housing, where the worm gear takes the form of a worm screw engaged with a spur gear. The spur gear may then be engaged with teeth on a movable sleeve. The end of a cable is secured within the sleeve and the tension in the cable can be adjusted by moving the sleeve via the worm gear.
