SEAT ASSEMBLY WITH RETURN INTERLOCK ELEMENT
20230018025 · 2023-01-19 ·

A seat assembly for movement between a plurality of positions within an automotive vehicle includes a seat back pivotally coupled to a seat cushion and a seat track assembly with a sliding track repositionable along a fixed track for movement of the seat assembly between a forward position and a rearward position. A linkage assembly extends between the seat cushion and the sliding track for movement of the seat cushion between an easy entry position and a design position. An interlock element is pivotally coupled to the sliding track. Movement of the seat assembly from the forward position to the rearward position pivots the interlock element from a locked condition engaged with the linkage assembly for holding the seat cushion in the easy entry position, to an unlocked condition disengaged from the linkage assembly for allowing movement of the seat cushion to the design position.

The present disclosure relates to a vehicle seat with a frame formed by a seating portion and a back rest, upper rails longitudinally adjustable on lower rails and lockable by means of a longitudinal rail locking mechanism, a coupling system for adjustment of the frame in relation to the upper rails, said coupling system comprising a coupling member with a coupling member pivot axis, a seat locking mechanism for locking the vehicle seat in an upright seating position, where said frame, upon operation of an easy entry actuator and unlocking of the seat locking mechanism, can be tilted forward starting from the upright seating position.

TILT STRUCTURE FOR CONSOLE

A tilt structure to be provided allows the tilt of a console to be changed through simple motion and has a simple configuration. A link mechanism (a mechanism similar to a slider crank mechanism) composed of three turning pairs and one sliding pair is formed using a first frame 20, a second frame 25, a slider 37, and a connection member 30. The tilt structure includes a control member 40 or 47 for fixing or unfixing the tilt of the second frame 25. The control member 40 or 47 is provided controllably in order to lock or unlock motion of the link mechanism.

SEAT TRACK ASSEMBLY WITH MEMORY MECHANISM
20220324357 · 2022-10-13 ·

A seat track assembly provides forward and rearward movement of a seat assembly. A latch mechanism allows movement of a movable track between a plurality of positions. A memory mechanism with a memory plate and a memory tab are operable between a home position in which the memory tab is disposed in a recess of the moveable track, and a memory position in which the memory plate is coupled with a plurality of angled teeth to define a selected position. Actuation of the memory mechanism to the memory position unlocks the latch mechanism to allow movement of the movable track in a first direction away from the selected position to an easy-entry position. Movement of the movable track in a second direction from the easy-entry position stops the movable track at the selected position, allowing the latch mechanism to lock and the memory mechanism to return to the home position.

The control member 40 or 47 is provided controllably in order to lock or unlock motion of the link mechanism.

Mechanical Seat Position Detection

A seat position detection apparatus for a vehicle seat which is guided using a seat rail in a floor rail of the vehicle. The seat position detection apparatus has a lock for the longitudinal setting of the seat rail and the floor rail in relation to one another, and a mechanical memory device that has a position determination unit and a position detection unit, which may be started symmetrically from both directions of the longitudinal adjustment of the vehicle seat to define a vehicle seat position.

Seat slide apparatus for vehicle

A seat slide apparatus for a vehicle includes a lower rail, an upper rail, a lock member, a stopper portion, a lever member that rotates in a release direction in association with a forward folding of a seatback, and a memory link being released from the lever member in a state where the lever member rotates in the release direction and rotating to an engageable position at which the memory link is engageable with the stopper portion, the memory link being configured to pass through the stopper portion in a case where the upper rail moves to a front side of the seat, the memory link engaging with the stopper portion to restrict the upper rail from moving to a rear side of the seat in a case where the upper rail moves to the rear side of the seat after the memory link passes through the stopper portion.

Seat slide device

A seat slide device includes a lower rail, which is provided along a front-and-rear direction; an upper rail, which is movably engaged with the lower rail; a lock mechanism, which is configured to lock and unlock a movement of the upper rail; a walk-in mechanism, which makes a seat be movable into a walk-in area located by unlocking the lock mechanism; and a movable-range restriction unit which: allows the seat to move into the walk-in area when the seat is moved toward the walk-in area from a rear side in a state where the walk-in mechanism is operated; and prevents the seat from moving into the walk-in area when the seat is moved toward the walk-in area from the rear side in a state where the walk-in mechanism is not operated and the lock mechanism is unlocked.

Memory module and seat mounting structure with easy entry module

A memory module includes a pressure tongue rotatably mounted on a fixed block through a reset spring providing a first driving force for rotation of the pressure tongue. A rotating block is rotatably mounted on a slider through a torsion spring providing a second driving force for rotation of the rotating block, and the slider is slidably mounted on a guide rail. When the rotating block projects forwards under the action of the second driving force, a locking block is inserted into a locking hole, and an upper retaining surface is separated from a first lower retaining point. When the pressure tongue presses the rotating block downwards under the action of the first driving force to overcome the second driving force to force the rotating block to raise backwards, the locking block is separated from the locking hole, and the upper retaining surface is contact with the first lower retaining point.

Longitudinally adjustable vehicle seat

A longitudinally adjustable vehicle seat (1) includes a lower rail (5) and a longitudinally displaceably guided upper rail. A lower rail mounted end stop (40, 40b) delimits a comfort adjustment region interacting with an upper rail mounted stop element (36). The upper stop element (36) can be displaced beyond the comfort adjustment region into an easy entry region and is part of a stop module (30) that is pivotable about a pivot axis (S). The stop module (30) includes a deflector element (34) that moves upwards, when the stop element (36) has not been shifted away, in the vertical direction upon contact with a screw head (22) that is located in the cavity between the upper rail (3) and the lower rail (5). The upper stop element (36) form-fittingly engages with the end stop (40, 40b) when the end stop (40, 40b) is reached.
