A vehicle seat, such as for a motor vehicle seat, adapted to be transferable from at least one use position, which is suitable for transporting a passenger, into an easy entry position as a non-use position, and back, may have a seat cushion, a backrest, and a seat frame. The seat cushion and the backrest may be coupled to the seat frame, a base and a kinematics for the articulated connection of the seat frame to the base. The kinematics may have at least one link articulated connecting the seat frame to the base. The at least one link may be lockable by a disc shaped fitting or the at least one link may be lockable with the seat frame by a locking device.
GEAR DEVICE
A gear device includes a first gear, a second gear, and a third gear, a stopper plate, and a housing. The second gear is offset eccentrically when the first gear is rotated. The third gear is rotated at a slower speed than the first gear when the second gear is offset eccentrically. The stopper plate is engaged with the second gear thereby restricting rotational movement of the second gear while permitting linear movement of the second gear. The housing accommodates the stopper plate in a state restricting rotational movement of the stopper plate while permitting linear movement of the stopper plate. The stopper plate includes an arm extending in a linear movement direction of the stopper plate. The housing includes an accommodation pit accommodating the arm. The arm includes a branching portion. The accommodation pit includes a projected wall arranged in the branching portion.

A motorized drive device for a vehicle seat having a squab in particular with raising, the device comprising an actuator and an actuator housing containing a reduction gear, an output member, mounted to rotate about an axis, the output member comprising a peripheral rim, a friction ring mounted around the output member and rotationally integral with the output member, the friction ring comprising a skirt, the actuator housing comprising an inner bearing optionally provided with a plurality of inner radial protrusions for receiving the skirt, the skirt coming into contact at least against the inner bearing in order to generate a continuous friction between the output member forming a rotating part and the inner bearing forming a fixed part.

The housing accommodates the first gear, the second gear, and the third gear. The cover is attached to the housing. The cover includes a deformation resistance portion that limits deformation of the cover in an axial direction of the third gear.
VEHICLE SEAT WITH ZERO GRAVITY POSITION
An adjustable vehicle seat transitions from a base position to an elevated position to a highly reclined zero-gravity position. A single motor controls movement through these three positions. Between the base position and the elevated position, an orientation of the vehicle seat changes very little. An eccentric gearing mechanism is proposed to move the seat between the three positions. In one embodiment, a compensator absorbs the planetary motion of the eccentric gearing mechanism such that motion is smoother.
