OCCUPANT SUPPORT
An occupant support includes a seat bottom and a seat back coupled to the seat bottom and arranged to extend upwardly away from the seat bottom in a normal-seating configuration. The seat back is pivotable relative to the seat bottom between a plurality of positions. The seat back may be changed from an upright position to a folded-forward position.
Control mechanism for lock pawl
A control mechanism for a lock pawl comprises an electric motor mounted in a housing that is connected with the seat backrest and has an output shaft with a worm gear engaging with the spur gearing of a transmission gear rotary-mounted on a transmission pivot and having on its frontal surface an eccentric selector pivot for controlling the pawl of the lock, swing-mounted on a pawl pivot between a blocking position, in which the pawl blocks a rotary ratchet of the lock from releasing a catch eye connected with the car bodywork, and an unlocking position, in which the pawl releases the rotary ratchet to release the catch eye, the pawl having a radial selector arm, which in the blocking position of the pawl interferes with the circular trajectory of the selector pivot to enable the selector pivot to engage with the selector arm, whereas the pawl has a radial control arm.
VEHICLE SEAT ASSEMBLY
An assembly includes a seat bottom. The assembly includes a seatback supported by and movable relative to the seat bottom between an upright position and a reclined position. The assembly includes an actuator supported by the seat bottom and operatively coupled to the seatback to move the seatback from the reclined position to the upright position. The assembly includes a computer having a processor and a memory storing instructions executable by the processor to command to actuator to move the seatback to the upright position in response to detecting a pending vehicle impact.

CONTROL MECHANISM FOR LOCK PAWL

Seat reclining device for vehicle
When a first memory member rotates relative to a second rotating member to a predetermined relative rotation position at which a second memory member sliding on a sliding surface is capable of entering an engagement slot, the slide-trailing end of the second memory member, which leaves the sliding surface last, is a corner having no round shape. Further, the boundary between the sliding surface and the engagement slot is also a corner having no round shape.
SEAT RECLINING DEVICE FOR VEHICLE
A seat reclining device for a vehicle includes a first rotating member, a second rotating member, a locking member, a first memory member, a second memory member, and an operation mechanism. The operation mechanism includes a guide hole. The second memory member includes a shaft portion inserted into the guide hole. The second memory member is configured to engage with and disengage from the first memory member by being supported in a state in which the shaft portion is movable in the longitudinal direction of the guide hole. In the periphery of the guide hole, a support wall is provided that protrudes in the thickness direction of a plate-shaped member.

VEHICLE SEAT FOR ONE-TOUCH SWITCHING TO RELAXATION MODE
In a vehicle seat for one-touch switching to a relaxation mode, a lever link operating in conjunction with a relaxation lever when a relaxation lever is raised up, or a relaxation lever bracket operating in conjunction with a motor cable of an actuator when a relaxation button lever is pushed down locks off a stepless brake. Thus, a rack bar is moved along a link tracking path. As a result, an angle of a cushion frame is changed in the upward direction, and a relaxation cable operated in conjunction with the relaxation lever link or a relaxation memory locks off the relaxation memory. In the present manner, a seat back is moved backward, enabling one-touch relaxation mechanism.
