VEHICLE SEAT
A configuration is adopted such that the shape of a peripheral wall portion of a shell-shaped seat back skeleton can be freely set without being restricted by the presence of brackets, the incidence of warping of the seat back skeleton when a vehicle is involved in a rear-end or head-on collision is reduced, and the seat back skeleton does not lose strength even when brackets are affixed to the seat back skeleton. A seat cushion skeleton 8 and the seat back skeleton 9 are coupled by coupling means 19a, 19b, and the seat back skeleton 9 has a main body 14 facing the back of a seated passenger, and a peripheral wall part 15 provided to the peripheral edge of the main body 14. The main body 14 and the peripheral edge part 15 are formed into an integrated shell shape using a synthetic resin. The coupling means 19a, 19b have first brackets 21a, 21b that are joined to the seat back skeleton 9, the first brackets 21a, 21b being affixed by bonding to the main body 14 of the seat back skeleton 9.
VEHICLE SEAT RECLINING DEVICE
A vehicle seat reclining device includes a ratchet and a guide assembled to be rotatable, a plurality of pawls that are supported by a pair of guide walls provided on the guide, mesh with the ratchet, and are arranged in the relative rotation direction and restrict relative rotation between the ratchet and the guide, and a cam that moves the pawls outward. One of the pawls is a main pawl having a rattle preventing structure. The main pawl includes a bulging portion configured to abut against the pressing portion. Each of the pawls other than the main pawl do not have a bulging portion corresponding to the bulging portion of the main pawl.
Vehicle seat
The vehicle seat comprising a seat-bottom frame; a seatback frame comprising at least one first lateral riser mounted pivoting relative to said seat-bottom frame around a transverse axis; a first discontinuous type hinge mechanism with a first side-plate rigidly fixed to the seat-bottom frame and a second side-plate; an intermediate riser mounted on the seat bottom frame, pivoting around the transverse axis, by means of the first hinge mechanism where the intermediate riser and the second side-plate are securely connected in rotation around the transverse axis; where the intermediate riser is fixed to the first lateral riser at a distance from the transverse axis; where the intermediate riser has a stiffness less than the stiffness of the first lateral riser of the seatback frame.
ANGULAR ADJUSTMENT DEVICE FOR A VEHICLE SEAT
A hinge comprising a first and a second plate intended to be connected respectively to a first and to a second vehicle seat element, the first plate comprising a base toothed portion with N teeth, a plurality of sets of rolling elements, each radially movable between at least one locking position, in which the rolling element is at least partially engaged in a space between two teeth, and an unlocking position in which the rolling element is disengaged from the space, a plurality of movable cams, each cooperating with the rolling elements of a different set, so as to cause the rolling elements to transition from their unlocking position to a locking position, and vice versa, and a control hub, able to move the cams.
Method Of Welding Vehicle Recliner Mechanisms
A method of laser welding a recliner assembly includes positioning a first component of a vehicle seat recliner mechanism with respect to a second component of the vehicle seat recliner mechanism. The method further includes retaining a position of the first component and the second component. Retaining includes forming a plurality of tack welds between the first component and the second component. The method further includes fixing the first component to the second component. Fixing includes forming a finishing weld between the first component and the second component by laser welding the first component to the second component.
Vehicle Seat Recliner Mechanism With Welded Spring
A recliner mechanism for a vehicle seat may include a guide plate, a locking plate, a pawl, an actuator hub, and a coil spring. The guide plate includes a recess and a projection. The locking plate includes a surface having teeth formed thereon. The pawl is movable in the recess between a secure position in which the pawl is engaged with the teeth of the locking plate to restrict relative rotation between the guide plate and the locking plate and a release position in which the pawl is disengaged from the teeth of the locking plate to allow relative rotation between the guide plate and the locking plate. Rotation of the actuator hub causes corresponding movement of the pawl between the secure position and the release position. The coil spring includes a first end engaging the actuator hub and a second end that hooks the projection of the guide plate.
VEHICLE SEAT
There is provided a vehicle seat that allows detection of forgetting to mount a bracket for centering in a recliner with a limited space along a seat-width direction. One aspect of the present disclosure is a vehicle seat including a recliner mounted to a back frame. The recliner includes a recliner plate, a recliner main body configured to pivot the back frame relative to the recliner plate, a bracket fixed to the recliner plate, and a hinge pin penetrating the recliner main body, the recliner plate, and the bracket. The recliner plate includes a confirmation hole not overlapping the recliner main body. The bracket includes a body portion having a first through hole, and a detection target portion extending from the body portion to the confirmation hole and overlapping the confirmation hole.
SELF-BIASING RECLINER CROSS-TALK TUBE COUPLER
A coupler for coupling a cross-talk tube of a vehicle seat with a shaft of a dual recliner assembly. The coupler comprises a generally cylindrical body extending axially between an inboard end and an outboard end. The inboard end includes an inboard aperture having an inboard planar surface. The outboard end includes an outboard aperture having an outboard planar surface. The inboard planar surface and the outboard planar surface transition from an axially offset position to an axially aligned position when the coupler is installed with the cross-talk tube and the shaft of the dual recliner assembly.
Recliner mechanism having bracket
A recliner mechanism includes a housing plate and a recliner heart. The housing plate includes a plate body. The recliner heart is mounted to the housing plate and operable in an unlocked state permitting relative rotation between a seat back and a seat bottom, and a locked state preventing relative rotation between the seatback and the seat bottom. The housing plate includes a fore end proximate a front of the seat bottom and an aft end opposing the fore end and proximate a rear end of the seat bottom. The plate body includes a protrusion extending outwardly therefrom at or near the aft end.
RECLINING APPARATUS FOR SEAT
Proposed herein is a reclining apparatus for a seat, which secures coupling between a cap and a gear plate through a uniform position adjustment of the cap when the cap of a recliner is assembled, secures operation performance between components, and prevents a bearing from being deformed and separated due to an external force.
