Conveyance seat
Provided is a conveyance seat capable of reducing the number of components and reducing swing of a seat cushion while a vehicle is travelling. The conveyance seat is a seat including a cushion lock apparatus turnably coupling a seat cushion to a seat back and configured switchable between a seatable state and a housing state. The cushion lock apparatus includes a lock member attached to a seat cushion side, a lock target member attached to a seat back side and engaging with the lock member to lock turning motion of the seat cushion, and a position holding member holding at least one of the positions of the lock member and the lock target member to hold a state in which a clearance is, in the seatable state, formed between an engagement portion provided at the lock member and an engagement target portion provided at the lock target member.
TORSION ASSIST SYSTEM FOR A FOLDING SEAT BACK IN A VEHICLE
A seat back system for a vehicle includes a fixed seat support member fixed relative to the vehicle, a seat back frame pivotally mounted relative to the fixed seat support member, and a torsion spring element mounted to the seat back frame. The torsion spring element includes a first end fixed relative to the fixed seat support member and a second end fixed relative to the seat back frame.
Seat assembly
A seat assembly having a seat bottom, a seat back, a seat track, and a rear mounting unit. The seat bottom may be pivotally mounted to the seat back. The seat back may be pivotally mounted to the rear mounting unit. The rear mounting unit may be moveably disposed on the seat track.
Seat assembly having a pivotable seat back
A seat assembly having a seat back and a mounting bracket assembly. The seat back may have a pivot pin that may be rotatable about an axis. The mounting bracket assembly may be adapted to be mounted to a vehicle and may have a hole that may receive a bushing. The bushing may receive the pivot pin.
Seat console assembly
A seat assembly is provided with a seatback having a forward surface to support an upper body of an occupant and an upper console portion formed on a rear surface of the seatback. The seatback pivots at a seatback pivot axis to a use position where the seatback extends generally horizontal. A bottom cushion has an upward surface to support a lower body of the occupant. The cushion pivots at a cushion pivot axis to an access position to access a lower console formed along an interior surface of the seat bottom cushion.
Seat for Vehicle Having Fold-and-Dive Function
A seat for a vehicle having a fold-and-dive function is proposed. When a seatback is rotated forwards and folded, a seat cushion is moved down, so the fold-and-dive function of the seat is realized. When a full-flat mode is realized by the reclining operation of the seatback, a rear end of the seat cushion is moved up, so a step between the seat cushion and the seatback can be significantly reduced or eliminated. Furthermore, a front link connecting a back cushion interlocking frame and a cushion fixing bracket to perform the fold-and-dive function is installed to have directivity where it is inclined rearwards, thus preventing a submarine phenomenon of the seat in the event of a forward collision.
Vehicle
A vehicle shown herein is a side by side powersports vehicle having a utility bed recessed in the rear body portion below an upper surface, the utility bed forming a stepped portion relative to the rear body portion and having a maximum lateral width greater than a diameter of at least one of the wheels, and a minimum width less than a diameter of at least one of the wheels, whereby a spare wheel may be stored on the stepped portion of the utility bed. As shown herein, the utility bed is defined as a removable tub, which can be removed from the rear body portion. The utility bed has defined troughs in a floor thereof angled rearwardly wherein the utility bed has drains which drain away from any heat source of the vehicle. The seats of the vehicle allow longitudinal movement and tilt capability.
Vehicle seat
Provided is a vehicle seat having a seat back that can be folded forward, in which the buckle is prevented from interfering with the seat back when the seat back is folded forward. A seat cushion frame rotatably attached to the seat back frame includes a pair of side frames extending in a fore and aft direction, a front frame extending between front parts of the side frames, and a rear frame extending between rear parts of the side frames and provided with a curved portion protruding forward in a middle part thereof. A buckle support arm is located behind the curved portion, the curved portion being dimensioned so as not to interfere with the buckle when the buckle support arm is in a stowed position.
VEHICLE SEAT AND VEHICLE SEAT MANUFACTURING METHOD
A vehicle seat includes a base provided on a floor; a seat back pivotably provided on the base; a seat cushion pivotably provided on the seat back; and a reclining drive unit connected to the base and the seat back to make the seat back pivot relative to the base, wherein the reclining drive unit is disposed more rearward than a front end of the seat cushion.
VEHICLE SEAT
A vehicle seat includes first and second sub-seatbacks also provided as first and second seat cushions mounted on a main seatback to be rotatable in forward-rearward directions. A forward facing position in which an occupant is accommodated while viewing forward and a rearward facing position in which the occupant is accommodated while viewing rearward is easily realized, in response to forward and rearward rotation of the first sub-seatback and the second sub-seatback also provided as first and second seat cushions. Furthermore, a full-bed mode in which the seat is horizontally spread like a bed, a cushion tip-up mode in which the entirety of the seat is positioned upright for ensuring freight loading and an occupant entering and exiting passage, and the like are realized.
