VEHICLE SEATING AND METHODS AND VEHICLES USING THE SAME
A vehicle seat can comprise: a base; a back connected to the base; an arm extending from the base; wherein the arm is configured to attach to a roof rail of a vehicle. A vehicle can comprise: a steering column; engine; a roof comprising a rail; and passenger compartment, wherein the passenger compartment comprises the vehicle seat, wherein the arm is attached to the rail. A method of arranging seating in a vehicle can comprise: sliding an arm of the vehicle seat horizontally along a slot in a roof rail and/or crossrail.
DEPLOYABLE CABIN ATTENDANT SEAT SYSTEM
A deployable cabin attendant seat system may include a primary cabin attendant seat, an auxiliary cabin attendant seat, a main support coupled to at least one of the primary cabin attendant seat or the auxiliary cabin attendant seat, and an actuation assembly coupled to at least the primary cabin attendant seat. The actuation assembly may be configured to actuate the primary cabin attendant seat relative to the auxiliary cabin attendant seat between a stowed seat position and a deployed seat position. The primary cabin attendant seat and the auxiliary cabin attendant seat may be arranged in a side-by-side configuration when the primary cabin attendant seat is in the deployed seat position. The primary cabin attendant seat may be stacked on the auxiliary cabin attendant seat when the primary cabin attendant seat is in the stowed seat position.
CUSHION TIP-UP TYPE SEAT FOR VEHICLE
Disclosed is a cushion tip-up type seat for a vehicle. The cushion tip-up type seat for a vehicle is configured to perform a tip-up function of a cushion part, and to move a seat leftward and rightward to adjust an interval between left and right seats, whereby left and right spacing between occupants seated in the seats is sufficiently secured and the convenience of the occupants is improved.
Vehicle seating arrangements
A seating arrangement for a vehicle is shown to include a plurality of seats, including at least two front seats, at least two rear seats, and a rear jump seat positioned intermediate the two rear seats. The jump seat comprises a seat back which is positioned rearwardly of the rear seats, and the rear seats are movable laterally between a first position where the rear seats are proximate to each other and generally covering the seat back of the jump seat, and a second position where the rear seats are spaced apart from each other and the seat back of the jump seat is exposed. The arrangement may also include rear seats which are rotatable relative to the seat backs to provide a storage surface.
Seat device for a vehicle
A seat device includes a seat part that is capable of changing a posture to a use posture that allows sitting on the seat part and to a non-use posture that does not allow sitting on the seat part. A seat support can support the seat part in a state in which the seat part has been changed to the use posture. A guide member has a free groove that slidably guides a sliding part of the seat support and a regulation groove that regulates sliding of the sliding part in a state in which the seat part has been changed to the use posture. The guide member can be fixed on the seat part. A spring biases the seat support so that the sliding part is held in the regulation groove in the state in which the seat part has been changed to the use posture. A lever may cause the sliding part to slide from the regulation groove to the free groove and allow the seat support to swing downward.
VEHICLE SEATING ARRANGEMENTS

Stowable reversible seat
A stowable reversible seat for a vehicle includes a first member pivotally coupled to a floor for supporting a seat base, a second member releasably secured to the floor for supporting the seat base, and a seat back pivotally coupled to the first member. Components of the seat pivot between a folded configuration for stowing and a deployed configuration for seating. The orientation of the seat may be reversed for switching between a forward-facing direction and an aft-facing direction. A method of configuring a seat into an aircraft includes adapting a cabinet area to receive and conceal the seat, configuring a rail to make the seat slidable out from the cabinet area into an aisle, attaching a pivotable seat base on the seat, and pivotally mounting a supporting leg underneath a portion of the seat to secure the pivotable seat base in a substantially horizontal position.
