An occupant support for a vehicle includes a seat bottom arranged to overlie a floor of the vehicle, a seat back coupled to the seat bottom and arranged to extend upwardly away from the floor, and a seat mode-change system that allows the rear occupant support to adjust the seat bottom and the seat back to provide a storage space.

Includes a control unit that receives and executes an activation command by an authorized vehicle user and third parties for folding the seating arrangement out of a region inside the vehicle into a region accessible from outside the vehicle.

A seat assembly having a seat bottom, a seat back, a seat track, and a rear mounting unit. The seat bottom may be pivotally mounted to the seat back. The seat back may be pivotally mounted to the rear mounting unit. The rear mounting unit may be moveably disposed on the seat track.

A motor vehicle comprises two front seats aligned in a transverse direction, and at least one rear seat. Said at least one rear seat comprises a seating portion with a seating portion frame, a backrest with a backrest frame. The backrest frame is pivotable relative to the seating portion frame about a first transverse axis, between at least one deployed position for receiving an occupant of the seat and a folded position in which the backrest frame is folded down to face the seating portion frame. It is provided a vehicle seat having a base and a displaceable seat member which when a backrest of the vehicle seat is tilted forward can be lowered at least with a front portion in the direction of the base, wherein there is provided a guiding element which when the front portion of the seat member is lowered can be displaced on a slotted guiding member for the guiding element from a first portion of the slotted guiding member to a second portion of the slotted guiding member. The slotted guiding member or the guiding element is provided on a blocking element of a blocking device of the vehicle seat. The blocking element with the slotted guiding member or with the guiding element can be displaced under the action of acceleration forces which occur in the event of a crash relative to the base.

A vehicle seat includes a back frame connected to a base member so as to be able to rotate around a first rotation shaft; a rotation locking mechanism; a cushion frame connected to the back frame so as to be able to rotate around a second rotation shaft, and in which a long hole is formed; a link member connected to the base member so as to be able to rotate around a third rotation shaft; a fourth rotation shaft fixed to the link member and inserted in the long hole so as to be able to move relatively and so as to be able to rotate; and movement restricting portion provided between the fourth rotation shaft and an inner surface of the long hole, and that restricts movement of the fourth rotation shaft from one end portion of the long hole toward another end portion side.

Disclosed is a seat for a vehicle configured to variously adjust a seat position between, for example, a full-flat mode, a relaxation mode, a cushion tip-up mode, a full-bed mode, a walk-in mode, and a rear-view mode using a first hinge shaft to rotate the entire seat, including a seatback and a seat cushion, and a second hinge shaft to rotate the seatback.

A multiple position convertible seat assembly for a boat includes three seat frames pivotally coupled to the boat and to each other to move from a first position as a seat, a second position as a lounge seat with leg support, and a third position forming another seat. Provided is a vehicle-seat apparatus including: a front link whose upper end portion is connected to a front portion of a seat cushion; a sliding member connected to a lower end portion of the front link; a sliding guidance member installed on a bottom surface of the accommodation space to extend backward and forward and thus to guide linear backward and forward movements of the sliding member; an L-shaped main link whose front end portion is connected to a body of the front link and whose rear upper end portion is connected to a lower end portion of a seat back; a fixation bracket installed on an upper end portion of a rear wall of the accommodation space; and a rear support link whose front upper end portion is connected to a rear portion of the seat cushion, and whose rear lower end portion is connected to the fixation bracket.
