Ventilation Device, Method and Vehicle
A ventilation device of a vehicle includes an air outflow opening disposed on an upper side of a backrest of a seat of the vehicle such that an airflow from the air outflow opening flows in a direction of a roof of the vehicle. A plurality of air guiding elements are pivotably mounted in a region of the air outflow opening where an air volume of a front partial airflow and a rear partial airflow is settable by the plurality of air guiding elements. A further air guiding element is disposed on the roof in a region of the airflow where the airflow is dividable and deflectable by the further air guiding element.
Air Distribution Device For A Vehicle Seat
An air distribution device that includes an air inlet (44), a first air outlet (46), a second air outlet (48), and a door (52). The door (52) is configured to move relative to the first air outlet (46) and the second air outlet (48) to adjust an airflow provided through the air inlet (44), the first air outlet (46) and the second air outlet (48). The air distribution device may be used in a vehicle seat, a vehicle, or both.
Vehicle seat with airflow outlets
Various embodiments include illustrative vehicle seats, systems, vehicles, and methods for circulating airflow through a vehicle seat. An illustrative vehicle seat includes a cushion. The cushion is adapted to provide airflow therethrough. The cushion defines a primary airflow path directed to a primary outlet formed in a supporting portion of the cushion. The supporting portion of the cushion is adapted to receive direct body contact with a vehicle occupant while the vehicle occupant is seated within the vehicle seat. The cushion also defines a secondary airflow path directed to a secondary outlet formed in a non-supporting portion of the cushion.
VEHICLE ZONAL MICROCLIMATE SYSTEM
A vehicle occupant air curtain system includes a seat that has a seat cushion and a seat back. The seat back has a region that is configured to be arranged above an occupant shoulder. An air vent is supported on the seat back and is arranged in the region. The air vent is configured to be directed adjacent to a seated occupant's head and neck.
AIR MIXER FOR A VEHICLE SEAT
An air mixer that includes a first air inlet (110), a second air inlet (112), and a door (114). The first air inlet (110) is configured to connect to a source of conditioned air (A1), and the second air inlet (112) is configured to connect to source of ambient air (A2). The door (114) is configured to move relative to the first air inlet (110) and the second air inlet (112) to adjust an amount of air provided into the air mixer from the source of conditioned air and the source of ambient air. The air mixer may be used in a vehicle seat, a vehicle, or both.
Vehicular air conditioner
A vehicular air conditioner includes a first outlet that blows a conditioned air frontward to flow past a neck part of an occupant on a seat, and a second outlet that is provided below the first outlet and blows the conditioned air upward to flow past an armpit part of the occupant. The second outlet blows the conditioned air to merge with the conditioned air blown from the first outlet. The second outlet blows the conditioned air with an airflow volume larger than an airflow volume of the conditioned air from the first outlet such that the conditioned air blown from the second outlet guides the conditioned air blown from the first outlet to flow along a face of the occupant.
VENTILATED SEAT SYSTEM
A ventilated seat system for a vehicle includes a seating assembly including a seatback operably coupled to a seat base. A blower is coupled to the seating assembly. The blower generates a sound transmission when activated. The blower includes a housing defining an inlet and an outlet. A first metamaterial silencer is coupled to an interior surface of the housing proximate to the inlet, and a second metamaterial silencer is coupled to the interior surface of the housing proximate to the outlet. Each of the first metamaterial silencer and the second metamaterial silencer reduces the sound transmission generated by the blower.
Method for Operating a Temperature-Control Fan
A method for operating a temperature control fan integrated in an air guiding system, the method includes steps of: determining a current volume flow generated by a flow generator of the temperature-control fan within a detection region, and then adjusting at least one operating parameter of the temperature-control fan according to the determined current volume flow within the detection region.
Ventilation device for vehicle seat
A device for ventilating the occupant of a vehicle seat, comprising an air inlet receiving air from a ventilation member, and comprising a first duct integrated at least in part into the backrest of the seat, a second duct integrated into a headrest mounted on the seat and supplying at least one air outlet integrated into the headrest and expelling air coming from the ventilation member, the second duct and first duct being connected by a leak tight sliding connection.
