LINEAR DRIVE, LONGITUDINAL ADJUSTMENT DEVICE OF A SEAT, AND MO-TOR VEHICLE
A linear drive has at least one rack which is arranged along a longitudinal axis and has a plurality of teeth, a drive shaft arranged in a transverse axis transversely to the longitudinal axis, and at least two propulsion elements, each having at least one propulsion tooth. The at least two propulsion elements are linearly movable in a stroke axis which is oriented transversely to the longitudinal axis and transversely to the drive shaft. The at least two propulsion elements are drivingly coupled to the drive shaft in such a manner that the at least two propulsion elements perform at least one cyclical stroke movement in the course of one rotation of the drive shaft and enter and exit the at least one rack to generate a propulsion in the longitudinal axis. The at least two propulsion elements enter and exit the at least one rack with a phase shift.
Drive Member
A drive member including a motor with a longitudinal axis and with at an actuating end a gear mechanism. A support member carries a displacement rod that is movably mounted on the support member. The motor is with its actuating end connected to the support member. The gear mechanism includes a hinge member allowing pivoting of the displacement rod about a pivot axis that is oriented transversely to the longitudinal axis. The gear mechanism engages with the displacement rod and the support member is hingingly attached to a fixation bracket in a hinge connection that is hingeable about an axis which is oriented transversely to the longitudinal axis. The drive member can be used for the adjustment of the backrest of a rear seat in a motor vehicle.
SLIDE RAIL LOCKING SYSTEM WITH CONTINUOUS ADJUSTMENT
A system for locking a slide rail for a vehicle seat with continuous adjustment, comprises a fixed rail, and two blocking members urged towards each other by an elastic member to ensure their bracing on the rail, as well as to an unlocking mechanism comprising an unlocking member ensuring the release of the sliding of the slide rail by a separation of the two blocking members.
Support mechanism for a track system
A track system includes a track member with an elongate shaft mounted thereto. At least one support mechanism is mounted to the track member. The at least one support mechanism includes a housing. An engagement feature includes first and second engagement members spaced-apart from one another to define a receiving area therebetween. The first and second engagement members are operable between deployed and retracted positions relative to the housing. The elongate shaft is received in the receiving area when the first and second engagement members are in the deployed position.
GEARING ARRANGEMENT FOR A SPINDLE DRIVE ARRANGEMENT, SPINDLE DRIVE ARRANGEMENT, AND VEHICLE SEAT
A gearing arrangement for a spindle drive arrangement may have a gearing housing and a gearing holder. The gearing holder may have at least two receiving openings, one for each fastening screw or one for each fastening bolt for fastening to another component, in particular to a vehicle seat. The at least two receiving openings may be oriented at right-angles and/or obliquely with respect to one another. A spindle drive arrangement having such a gearing arrangement, and also to a vehicle seat having such a spindle drive arrangement is also provided.
Rail for vehicle seat and vehicle seat comprising such a rail
A rail for a vehicle seat having first and second sliding rail members driven by a motorized drive mechanism. The rail further comprises a mechanical lock actuated by a relative movement between the motorized drive mechanism and the second rail member in the event of an accident.
Cable driven sliding center console
Center console provided with a fixed rail, extending in a longitudinal direction, a translatable member, a gearbox assembly and first and second cables. The translatable member may be coupled to the fixed rail and configured to move between a first position and a second position. The gearbox assembly may include a cable drum configured to rotate in a first rotational direction and a second rotational direction. The first and second cables may each be coupled to the translatable member and a cable drum. As the cable drum rotates in the first rotational direction, the first cable may translate the translatable member towards the first position. As the cable drum rotates in the second rotational direction, the second cable may translate the translatable member towards the second position.
Gearbox for vehicle seat adjustment mechanism
A gearbox for a vehicle seat adjustment mechanism in accordance with the principles of the present disclosure includes first and second portions. The first portion includes a first body defining a first longitudinal recess and a first peripheral recess in fluid communication with the first longitudinal recess. The first body includes a concave first curved surface. The second portion includes a second body defining a second longitudinal recess and a second peripheral recess in fluid communication with the second longitudinal recess. The second body includes a convex second curved surface. The second curved surface has an equal and opposite curvature compared to the first curved surface. In an assembled configuration, the first and second curved surfaces are in contact, the first longitudinal and second longitudinal recesses cooperate to define a longitudinal passage, and the first and second peripheral recesses communicate to define a peripheral receptacle.
SHAFT LOCKING METHOD USING A GEAR RACK AND TOOTHED LOCKING LEVER
A shaft locking mechanism includes a rack disposed on a translating shaft and a toothed locking lever disposed on a corresponding translation post. The toothed locking lever engages the rack in a locked orientation to prevent the shaft translating within the translation post. The toothed locking lever is disengaged during translation and the shaft may be translated and locked in place with very granular adjustability. A control rod release mechanism may be biased to maintain the toothed locking lever in the locked orientation. A cam feature on the toothed locking lever engages the body of the control rod which defines a recessed portion that coincides with the cam while in an unlocked orientation.
Extendible protective element for use in a child safety seat
An extendible protective element (10) for use in a child safety seat is disclosed. The extendible protective element comprises a first thread component comprising a first external thread and a first internal thread, and a second thread component comprising a second external thread, wherein the first thread component is rotatably connected to the second thread component via the first internal thread of the first thread component and the second external thread of the second thread component.
