VEHICLE SEAT
A vehicle seat is provided. The vehicle seat comprises construction elements that are movable relative to one another and at least one force transmission element which transmits activation forces and/or stress forces that result from the use of the vehicle seat from one construction element to the other. The force transmission element by way of at least one joint is connected to both construction elements, and conjointly with the at least one joint is an integral component part of at least one of the two construction elements.
Method and apparatus for adjusting at least a first movable seat element of a vehicle seat
The present invention relates to a method for adjusting at least a first movable seat element (2) of a vehicle seat 1, in which a graphic element (10) of the vehicle seat (1) to be adjusted is displayed with at least one graphic element (20) of the first seat element (2) on a display surface (13), in order to adjust the first seat element a first switching element and a second switching element are displayed on the display surface (13), wherein the first switching element comprises a first graphic arrow element (21) and the second switching element comprises a second graphic arrow element (22), which graphic arrow elements distinguish opposite directions for moving the first seat element (2), and on actuating the first switching element (21) a control signal is generated, by means of which the first seat element (2) is moved in a first direction (A) and, at the same time, the graphic element (20) of the first seat element (2) is moved. In addition, the invention relates to a device for carrying out this method.
ENTRY-AND-EXIT ASSISTANCE DEVICE FOR VEHICLE
A vehicle entry-and-exit assistance device easily moves a board between a housed position and a using position. Embodiments include a board at an outer side of a seat adjacent to a door opening, the board rotatable between a horizontal posture and an orthogonal posture; a board support portion rotatable between a seat side-position and a flipped-up position; and a linking mechanism. The board pivots around an axis orthogonal to the vehicle width direction, and the support portion pivots around an axis extending in the vehicle width direction. The linking mechanism rotates the board to a vehicle-width-direction inner side with respect to the support portion to take the orthogonal posture when the support portion is rotated to the flipped-up position, and rotates the board to a vehicle-width-direction outer side with respect to the support portion to take the horizontal posture when the support portion is rotated to the seat side-position.
Overstress protection for shape memory alloy seat actuator
An actuator for a vehicle seat can be configured to prevent overstress of a shape memory alloy (SMA) wire. The actuator can include a first body member and a second body member pivotably connected to each other. The actuator can include an overstress post and an overstress contact plate operatively connected to the overstress post. Thus, movement of the overstress post causes movement of the overstress contact plate. The actuator can include an overstress contact pin. The actuator can include an SMA wire operatively connected to one of the body members and to the overstress post. When activated, the SMA wire can shrink, causing one of the body members to pivot relative to the other body member and causing the overstress contact plate to move toward the overstress contact pin. If the overstress contact plate contacts the overstress contact pin, the SMA wire can be deactivated.
Seat trim structure, seat structure and seat mounting structure for a seat of a vehicle
The disclosure relates to a seat trim structure for a vehicle seat with at least a mounting element having a plurality of integrated retaining elements, a number of detachable support members, and a number of detachable trim elements. The support members may be detachably arranged to the mounting element and the integrated retaining elements may be configured to detachably retain the number of trim elements to the mounting element.
Vehicle seat with adjustable backrest
The invention relates to a vehicle seat comprising a seat part and a backrest, wherein the backrest comprises at least one left-hand backrest longitudinal support at least one middle backrest longitudinal support and at least one right-hand backrest longitudinal support extending in the vertical direction of the backrest. The backrest longitudinal supports are each connected to the seat part and/or a seat-part frame in a lower region and comprise at least one cushion element. The backrest longitudinal supports are hingedly connected to the seat part and/or the seat-part frame and are interconnected by means of an elongate backrest cross strut, wherein it is possible to vary a distance between at least two backrest longitudinal supports by displacing the at least one backrest cross strut along the vertical direction of the backrest in the upper region of the backrest.
Passenger transport seats with lateral seat lips
Seat assemblies are provided which include a seat base structure, a seat cushion supported by the seat base structure and at least a lateral outboard seat lip positioned relative to the seat cushion so as to assist a passenger during seat entry and exit. The lateral outboard seat lip is preferably attached relative to the seat cushion for manual movements between an extended position wherein the outboard seat lip extends outwardly thereby increasing effective surface area of the seat cushion and a deflected position wherein the outboard seat lip extends upwardly or downwardly relative to the seat cushion so as to thereby decrease the effective surface area of the seat cushion.
Adjustable seat assembly for a motorcycle, and motorcycle
An adjustable seat assembly for a motorcycle has a seat pan and an adjustment mechanism. The seat pan includes a base portion and two pivoting portions that are pivotally connected to the base portion and are arranged laterally adjacent to one another on the base portion. The base portion has a fastening portion for fastening the seat assembly on the motorcycle. The adjustment mechanism is designed to pivot each of the two pivoting portions in relation to the base portion to adjust a lateral width of the seat assembly. A motorcycle with an adjustable seat assembly is also provided.
Flexibly adjustable passenger seat device for a vehicle cabin
A passenger seat device for a vehicle cabin comprises a front end and a rear end, a backrest arranged at the rear end, a plurality of seat surface segments extending from the rear end to the front end and a seat frame for carrying the seat surface segments and the backrest. The seat surface segments are arranged in a side-by-side relationship and constitute a seat surface and the seat surface segments are individually adjustable between at least two different vertical positions relative to the seat frame. The passenger seat device may flexibly seat passengers with different constitutions.
