A seating assembly is provided that includes a seating assembly frame that includes a seatback frame, and a seat frame. The seating assembly further includes a seatback panel coupled to an upper portion of the seatback frame and movable between a stored position relative to the seatback frame and an extended position relative to the seatback frame, and an adjustment mechanism coupled to the seatback panel and the seating assembly frame and movable between a first position and a second position in response to an actuating force.

Provided is a conveyance seat capable of reducing the number of components and reducing swing of a seat cushion while a vehicle is travelling. The conveyance seat is a seat including a cushion lock apparatus turnably coupling a seat cushion to a seat back and configured switchable between a seatable state and a housing state. The cushion lock apparatus includes a lock member attached to a seat cushion side, a lock target member attached to a seat back side and engaging with the lock member to lock turning motion of the seat cushion, and a position holding member holding at least one of the positions of the lock member and the lock target member to hold a state in which a clearance is, in the seatable state, formed between an engagement portion provided at the lock member and an engagement target portion provided at the lock target member.

A load floor arrangement for a motor vehicle is provided. The arrangement has a rear load floor element which, in a floor position, forms a floor portion of a load space. The load floor arrangement has a front load floor element which is connected to a backrest of a vehicle seat so as to be pivotable about a floor element pivot axis extending in the vehicle transverse direction, whereby it is adjustable between a contact position and at least one pivoted position in which its inclination relative to the horizontal is reduced compared to the contact position, when the backrest is inclined forwards in an inclined position about a backrest pivot axis.

A vehicle includes a frame and a plurality of seats supported by the frame including at least one front seat and at least one rear seat. The at least one rear seat includes a seat back and a seat base, the seat back and the seat base being moveable between a lowered position and a raised position. The raised position is defined by the seat back and the seat base of the at least one rear seat being positioned at a first vertical height. The lowered position is defined by the seat back and the seat base of the at least one rear seat being positioned longitudinally rearward of the at last one front seat and at a second vertical height, the first vertical height being greater than the second vertical height.

A backboard assembly for a vehicular rear seat is disclosed. The backboard assembly includes an upper part and a lower part, which are made of a hard plastic material. The backboard assembly prevents the formation of a gap between the lower part and a luggage board, regardless of the operational mode of the rear seat. When a seat back is folded, the upper part, the lower part, and the luggage board are aligned in a horizontal direction, thereby allowing the space for passengers in the rear seat to be completely integrated with a luggage compartment.

A seating assembly is provided that includes a seating assembly frame that includes a seatback frame, and a seat frame. A seat cover for a vehicle may include a lower or bench portion sized and configured to extend over a horizontally-oriented top of a bench of a vehicle seat. The lower portion may include a first section and a second section separated by a slit. The seat cover for the vehicle may also include an upper or backrest portion coupled to the lower portion. The upper portion may be sized and configured to extend upwardly over a backrest of the vehicle seat.

A carpeted automotive vehicle load floor including a composite panel having first and second reinforced thermoplastic skins and a thermoplastic cellular core disposed between and bonded to the skins is provided. The first skin as a top surface. A cover having top and bottom surfaces is spaced apart from the composite panel. A substantially continuous top covering layer is bonded to the top surface of the panel and the top surface of the cover to at least partially form a carpeted load floor having a carpeted cover. An intermediate portion of the top covering layer between the cover and the panel is not bonded to either the panel or the cover to form a living hinge which allows the carpeted cover to pivot between different use positions relative to the rest of the load floor.

Provided is a connection member that is to be bridged between a seat back and a luggage room floor, and stretches and contracts as at least one of the seat back and the luggage room floor moves. The connection member has a main body portion formed into the shape of a thin plate or a sheet; and a plurality of long convex portions provided on the main body portion in a parallel manner. The long convex portions are extendedly provided in a direction orthogonal to a direction along which the connection member stretches and contracts. As the seat back and the luggage room floor approach each other, a first bending portion and second bending portion having the plurality of the long convex portions will be bended in a manner such that the plurality of the long convex portions will be positioned inward.

A seat cover for a vehicle may include a lower or bench portion sized and configured to extend over a horizontally-oriented top of a bench of a vehicle seat. The lower portion may include a first section and a second section separated by a slit. The seat cover for the vehicle may also include an upper or backrest portion coupled to the lower portion. The upper portion may be sized and configured to extend upwardly over a backrest of the vehicle seat.
