Cup holder for vehicle
A cup holder for a vehicle may include a holder body slidably coupled to a cup holder mounting portion in the vehicle, a finger elastically and pivotably mounted to the holder body, and configured to press and support a side surface of a cup inserted into the cup holder together with the holder body, a support connected to the holder body by a link such that the support is vertically movable in accordance with pivotal movement of the link, the support being configured to support a bottom portion of the cup, and a locking member disposed between the finger and the link, to lock the link, for prevention of pivotal movement of the link, or to unlock the link in linkage with pivotal operation of the finger.
Seat for vehicle
A vehicle seat is provided in which a seat back is constrained from tilting down when a seat cushion is moved to a position in which the seat back cannot be tilted down. The vehicle seat includes a base frame, a seat cushion frame (3) horizontally movable relative to the base frame between a first position and a second position different from the first position, a seat back frame (4) rotatable relative to the seat cushion frame (3), a lock member (5) configured to constrain the seat back frame (4) from tilting rearward, and an unlock mechanism (6) configured to release a lock applied by the lock member (5) when the seat cushion frame (3) is moved from the first position to the second position.
VEHICLE SEAT, IN PARTICULAR MOTOR VEHICLE SEAT
A vehicle seat (1), in particular a motor vehicle seat, includes a seat part (3), a backrest (5) and a four-bar-linkage arrangement (10), having a coupler (20), for the at least indirect coupling of the seat part (3) to a vehicle floor (S). The vehicle seat (1) is transferrable from a use position suitable for transporting an individual either into a first non-use position or into a second non-use position. The seat part (3) has a seat-part frame (30), which is pivotable relative to the coupler (20), and a locking device (52), which blocks a pivoting of the seat-part frame (30) relative to the coupler (20) in a first actuating state of the locking means (52). The locking device (52) permits a pivoting of the seat-part frame (30) relative to the coupler (20) in a second actuating state of the locking device (52).
SEAT ASSEMBLY WITH OVERRIDE CONDITION
A seat assembly for use in an automotive vehicle includes a seat back pivotally coupled to a seat cushion and at least one link pivotally coupled between the seat cushion and a seat base. A detent assembly is rotatably coupled to the seat base, the detent assembly actuatable between a use condition for operatively coupling the at least one link and the detent assembly, and an override condition for decoupling the at least one link and the detent assembly. A linkage motor is operatively engaged with the detent assembly for pivoting the at least one link to move the seat assembly between a plurality of positions. Actuation of the detent assembly from the use condition to the override condition allows for manual pivoting of the at least one link to move the seat assembly between the plurality of positions in situations where the linkage motor is unable to be actuated.
CHILD SEAT WITH IMPACT SHIELD FOR ATTACHING TO A MOTOR VEHICLE SEAT
The invention relates to a child seat for attaching to a motor vehicle seat, comprising an impact shield, wherein the impact shield is prevented from being dismantled from a main body in at least a first configuration and/or in at least a first state of use of the child seat and/or is prevented from being partially or at least fully mounted on a/the main body in at least a second configuration and/or in at least a second state of use of the child seat, and/or wherein possibilities for configuring and/or installing the child seat are dependent on the fastened state of the impact shield.
Rotating Rigid Latch Attachments for a Car Seat Base
A base for a child car seat includes a seat base body configured to support a child carrier. The seat base body has a belt channel configured to receive a vehicle seat belt to retain the seat bas body against a vehicle seat. The base for a child car seat further includes a latch connector arm having a proximal end pivotally connected to the seat base body and a distal end configured to attach to a rigid anchor of the vehicle seat. The latch connector is rotatable between a stowed position and an attachment position. In the stowed position, the latch connector arm is located such that the vehicle seat belt may extend through the belt channel and connect to a buckle of the vehicle seat without contacting the latch connector arm.
Adjustable seat with entry tip slide plus pitch slide
A seat mounted on a slide slidable on a track. The track has comfort and entry zones. Pitch linkage mounts on the slide and supports a seat back. The linkage pivotally connects a seat back to the slide between recline and forward positions. A track latch fixes the slide to the track in a plurality of positions in the comfort zone. The entry zone is used to enter the vehicle. A forward stop blocks the slide from moving from the comfort to the entry zone. The forward stop moves between stop and release positions. The stop position blocks the slide from moving from the comfort to the entry zone. The release position does not block the slide from moving. A forward stop mechanism moves the forward stop into the stop position when the pitch linkage is in the recline position and the slide is in said comfort zone.
CAR SEAT AND CONNECTION SYSTEM
Embodiments of a car seat include an outer protective shell, an inner seat, a suspension system connecting and permitting relative movement between the inner seat and the outer protective shell. The suspension system may include a plurality of plastically deformable suspension elements. Also, embodiments of a car seat system include a frame constructed to couple to a vehicle seat. The frame and/or the car seat may have a plastically deformable energy absorbing element extending outwardly to absorb energy, such as from a side impact. The frame may include tubular members filled with reinforcing material. The frame may have a connection arrangement with the car seat to restrict connection of the car seat so that it can only be installed in predefined orientations relative to the frame. The car seat may have a harness that includes a bolster panel or straps to limit movement of an occupant in the car seat.
