Submarining avoidance system
Aspects of the disclosure relate to reducing the likelihood of injury to a passenger in a collision. In one example, a system for reducing the likelihood of a passenger submarining, may include a restraining device for restraining the passenger. A second restraining device for further restraining the passenger may also be included in the system. A locking mechanism may be configured to prevent a seat back from reclining when the second restraining device is not activated.
Device for folding emergency exit seat for bus
A device for folding an emergency exit seat for a bus includes: a main frame for supporting a seat; a first folding frame and a second folding frame; a first seat leg and a second seat leg; a hinge body configured in a way that the first folding frame is hinged at the first seat leg and the second folding frame is hinged at the second seat leg; a first latch assembly arranged between a rear end portion of the first folding frame and a rear end portion of the first seat leg; a second latch assembly arranged between a rear end portion of the second folding frame and a rear end portion of the second seat leg; a wire connected to the first latch assembly and the second latch assembly; and a strap connected to the first latch assembly.

Dual cam latch
A latch assembly for a seating assembly includes a dual cam latch positioned on a sector arm. The sector arm includes first and second pins. The first pin operably couples a structural cam to the sector arm. The structural cam is operable between blocked and removed positions. An adjustment cam is operably coupled to the structural cam and the sector arm by the first pin. A locking hook is operably coupled to the sector arm by the second pin and is rotatable between a locked and unlocked positions. A return spring operably couples the locking hook with the structural cam. The locking hook is rotated to the unlocked position when the structural cam is drawn to the removed position. When the locking hook is rotated to the unlocked position, the sector arm is movable into a pitched position to provide entry space rearward of the seating assembly.
Sector arm and latch assembly
A seating assembly comprises a seat base operably coupled to a track assembly and a latch assembly configured to couple the seat base to the track assembly. The latch assembly comprises a sector arm operably coupled to a first pivot pin and a second pivot pin, wherein the first pivot pin is operably coupled to the seat base, a striker operably coupled to the second pivot pin and including a striker pin, and a dual cam latch operably coupled to the sector arm and disposed between the first pivot pin and the second pivot pin and operable between a lowered position in which the latch assembly is engaged with the striker pin and a raised position in which the latch assembly is released.

Four-way pitching mechanism for a seating assembly
A seating assembly includes a striker pin operably coupled to a track assembly, a sector arm operably coupled to a seat base and defining a first pivot axis and a second pivot axis, a dual cam latch disposed between the second pivot axis and the seat base when the sector arm is in a raised position and engageable with the striker pin when the sector arm is in a lowered position, wherein the dual cam latch is releasable by a forward movement of a seatback, a release cam operably coupled to the sector arm along the second pivot axis, wherein the release cam is configured to rotate downward when the sector arm is in the raised position, and a release bar including a front portion and a rear portion, wherein the rear portion is engageable by the release cam.
Seat base and a child safety seat
A seat base of a child safety seat is adapted to be rested on a vehicle seat. The child safety seat includes a seat shell removably mounted on the seat base. The seat shell has a bottom portion and a backrest portion. The seat base includes an upper facing wall, front and rear positioning members disposed to position the seat shell to the seat base, and an angle restraining structure raised from the upper facing wall and configured to restrain a largest recline angle of the backrest portion of the seat shell. A safety included angle of the seat shell is not more than 70 degrees, thereby ensuring prevention of over-reclining of the child safety seat.
