CUP HOLDER AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME
A cup holder may include a holder body having a holding groove opened at an upper portion thereof, and provided such that a container is inserted into the holding groove, a guide integrally or monolithically formed in the holder body with an elastic adjustment body interposed therebetween, so as to protrude inward from the holding groove, the guide tightly supporting a side of the container in a state in which the guide protrudes inward from the holding groove, and the elastic adjustment body integrally or monolithically formed in the guide and the holder body so as to provide an elastic restoring force in order for the guide to elastically protrude.
CUP HOLDER
A cup holder that can prevent malfunction and generation of abnormal noise due to adhesion of liquid or other foreign matter is provided. The cup holder (1) includes a holder main body (2) for accommodating a container therein, and arms (3) each including an upper arm piece (10), a lower arm piece (11), and a hinge joint (12) connecting a lower end of the upper arm piece (10) to an upper end of the lower arm piece (11). The arm is an integrally molded product made of a resin material, and the hinge joint (12) is a thin-walled hinge formed by a thin-walled portion thereof.
Beverage container holding device
A beverage container holding device includes a housing member for housing a beverage container, a movable floor attached to the housing member for supporting a beverage container bottom, a movable floor biasing member for upwardly biasing the movable floor, and a movable floor locking mechanism for securing the movable floor at a predetermined height against the movable floor biasing member. The housing member has a guide groove, and the movable floor has a branch portion extending through the guide groove to an outside of the housing member, and a claw portion extending horizontally from the branch portion. The movable floor locking mechanism includes an annular member which is rotatably mounted below a bottom member, at least one column member extending upward from the annular member in parallel to the guide groove, and a lock piece integrally formed on each column member for suppressing an upper surface of the claw portion.
VEHICLE SEAT BACKREST AND ASSOCIATED MANUFACTURING METHOD
A vehicle seat backrest having a body, a cover layer designed to be placed at the back of the body and covering at least a portion of the body, a storage apparatus defining a storage volume over a portion of the cover layer, and a fixation device for attaching the storage apparatus onto the cover layer. The fixation device includes at least one fixation support and at least one pin. The cover layer is overmolded onto the at least one fixation support. The at least one pin mates with the at least one fixation support and the storage apparatus so as to attach the storage apparatus to the cover layer.
BEVERAGE CONTAINER HOLDING DEVICE

A cup holder for a vehicle may include a holder body slidably coupled to a cup holder mounting portion in the vehicle, a finger elastically and pivotably mounted to the holder body, and configured to press and support a side surface of a cup inserted into the cup holder together with the holder body, a support connected to the holder body by a link such that the support is vertically movable in accordance with pivotal movement of the link, the support being configured to support a bottom portion of the cup, and a locking member disposed between the finger and the link, to lock the link, for prevention of pivotal movement of the link, or to unlock the link in linkage with pivotal operation of the finger.
RECONFIGURABLE CUP HOLDER ASSEMBLY
A reconfigurable cup holder assembly for a vehicle comprises: (i) a base structure, and (ii) a cup holder portion pivotably coupled to the base structure about a pivot axis, the cup holder portion comprising a first cup holder and a second cup holder, each of the first cup holder and the second cup holder defining a space configured to hold a container for liquid, and the cup holder portion is pivotable about the pivot axis to, from, and between a first position relative to the base structure and a second position relative to the base structure; wherein, the pivot axis extends through the space of the first cup holder. The second cup holder can pivot greater than or equal to 75 degrees about the pivot axis when the cup holder portion moves from the first position to the second position.
Cupholder and adapter for large containers during vehicle use
A cupholder adapter configured for use with an existing cupholder on a vehicle is provided. The cupholder adapter includes a cylindrical cupholder having a hollow internal volume, a collar attached to a top portion of the cylindrical cupholder, wherein the collar includes a plurality of tabs extending perpendicularly into the hollow internal volume, and an adapter base coupled to the cylindrical cupholder, wherein the adapter base includes a plurality of legs configured to expand and retract such that the diameter of the adapter base is configured to expand from a minimum diameter to a maximum diameter. The plurality of tabs includes tabs of different lengths and widths which enables and accommodates wide, tall, and narrow beverage containers during vehicle use. The adapter base is configured to install into the recessed cupholder near the console of most vehicles.
