Dump Truck Tailgate Lifting Assist Devices
A tailgate lifting apparatus is provided that includes: a first cog, a second cog, and a housing fixedly attached to a dump body. Preferably, the first cog is fixedly attached to a lower hinge pin of the tailgate, the second cog is rotatably coupled to the housing, and the second cog meshes with the first cog. The housing includes a ratcheting mechanism that selectively engages the second cog, the device therewith operable therewith to maintain the tailgate in a plurality of positions between a fully opened and fully closed positions.

Load retention system
Retention system for a load carrying container, comprising a retention portion arrangeable at or near a rear end of a load carrying container. The retention portion is pivotable between a first, raised position and a second, lowered position; and a drive element is used for moving the pivotable retention portion between the first and second positions.

Tipping hopper and control method thereof
A tipping hopper includes a hopper body, hopper rotating supports and a tipping mechanism. The tipping mechanism comprises a connecting rod and a crank. One end of the connecting rod is hinged on the hopper body, and the other end is hinged with one end of the crank; and the other end of the crank is hinged on a crank rotating support through a crank rotating shaft. By optimizing a crank starting point and a crank end point, ensure hopper's position of receiving and discharging material is arranged at or near a dead point of the tipping mechanism so that the working condition of an impact force borne by a speed reducer device is optimized when the tipping hopper is charged and discharged. The mechanism also optimizes the position of the center of gravity of the hopper body and the position of the center of gravity of a charged hopper, so that the center of gravity of the hopper body is located between a hopper rotating hinge point and the connecting rod support hinge point near the hopper rotating hinge point. A force amplification effect of the connecting rod is used to greatly reduce the requirement for the output moment of the speed reducer, thereby greatly reducing the weight of the speed reducer device and the power of a tipping motor and saving motor power and energy consumption of a hoisting system.

TRUCK BED CARGO LIFT AND LOADER
A truck bed cargo lift and loader is provided consisting of a pivotable and extendable platform or tray whose side supports are connected to linkage bars attached to carriers located in proximity to each base beam on the side of the lift and loader towards the open end of the truck bed, and which carriers travel along a worm gear jack screw with opposing threads installed in the cross member connecting the side base beams, such that when the jack screw rotates upon being driven by an electric motor or by a manually operated hand crank connected to a gearbox attached to the jack screw, the carriers travel towards and away from each other depending on the direction of rotation of the jack screw thereby raising and lowering the linkage bars with their platform or tray.
