AUTOMATED PALLET CONTAINER HYBRID
20230025818 · 2023-01-26 ·

An intermodal container includes a base (100) having a defined number of sides. The base is configured to support products during transport. The intermodal container further includes a removable cover (104) having a top and a defined number of sides matching the defined number of sides of the base. The removable cover is configured to be releasably secured to the base to define an enclosure in a use position and to be removed and flattened in a stored position.

AUTOMATED STORAGE AND RETRIEVAL SYSTEMS AND METHODS

A vehicle has an automated storage and retrieval system, the automated storage and retrieval system including an area for storage of items and having locations, each location being suitable for holding one or more of the items; an inductor that receives and inducts the items into the automated storage and retrieval system; a conveyor that conveys the items from the inductor to the area; and an extraction station. When an item is designated for removal from the area, the conveyor delivers the designated item to the extraction station and, after receipt of the designated item from the conveyor, the extraction station delivers the designated item to a designated recipient for extraction of the designated item from the automated storage and retrieval system.

PACKAGE SORTING SYSTEMS AND METHODS OF USE

Package sorting systems and methods of use are disclosed herein. An example system includes a platform of a vehicle, where the platform is arranged as a grid having a plurality of slots (including an open slot and a target slot). A plurality of slabs can be placed into the grid except for in the open slot. A slab moving assembly is used, to move the slabs in order to place a selected slab into the target slot on the platform.

Proppant delivery system

An apparatus for delivering proppant to a well site includes a plurality of proppant containers. The apparatus also includes a support structure having a bed and a structural framework extending down from the bed. The plurality of proppant container are structurally supported on top of the bed. A bin is disposed within the structural frame work below the bed. A conveyor cooperates with the bin for transporting proppant from the bin to a desired location at the well site. Proppant discharged from one or more of the plurality of proppant containers positioned on the bed above the bin is received in the bin and delivered to the well site by the conveyor.

VEHICLE TRANSPORTATION STORAGE SYSTEM AND METHOD
20230121499 · 2023-04-20 ·

A transportation storage system and method includes a vehicle having a platform on a chassis, plural storage containers disposed on the platform, and electronic locksets mounted to the storage containers. Each of the storage containers includes multiple module walls that define a cavity to receive an object, and a container door mounted to the module walls at an access end of the storage container to enclose the cavity when in a closed state. The electronic locksets lock the container doors in the closed state, and provide access to the object within the respective cavity in response to receiving a corresponding unlock signal. The storage containers are oriented on the platform such that the container doors are accessible to an individual that is off-board the vehicle or that is on the platform to extract the object from the cavity or to deposit the object into the cavity.

CARGO CONTAINERS AND METHODS OF USING THEREOF FOR DELIVERIES USING MULTIPLE DIFFERENT TYPES OF TRUCKS

Described herein are systems and methods for using different truck types for deliveries. A package is initially loaded into a specially configured cargo container that can be transported either on a primary truck or a secondary truck. A secondary truck is smaller than a primary truck and is configured to transport fewer cargo containers than the primary truck. An initial leg of the overall delivery (e.g., from a warehouse to a transfer point) is performed using a primary truck. The cargo container is then transferred to a secondary truck, which completes the delivery. Empty cargo containers can be transferred back to a primary truck, e.g., in a stacked or folded manner, for transporting back to the warehouse. The configurations of primary and secondary trucks are such that these transfers can occur at any location (e.g., a parking lot) with minimal human involvement.

HOIST FOR VEHICLE WITH INTERCHANGEABLE BODY

Provided in this disclosure is a hoist for raising and mounting an interchangeable vehicle body onto a vehicle chassis. The hoist includes a hoist frame having a pivot end and an elevated end for slidably supporting the interchangeable body. A subframe with a bolt-on assembly is provided for fixedly connecting to the vehicle chassis. A linkage connects the hoist frame to the subframe. The linkage also includes a hinge joint member for raising the elevated end of the hoist frame. A hinge assembly pivotally connects to the pivot end of the hoist frame. The hinge assembly has a bolt-on mounting bracket for fixedly connecting to the vehicle chassis. A winch assembly is retained in the elevated end of the hoist frame and extending beyond the pivot end for raising the interchangeable body onto the hoist frame.

AGRICULTURAL IMPLEMENT AND RAMP ATTACHMENT SYSTEM
20170297471 · 2017-10-19 ·

An agricultural implement for mounting on a U-shaped foundation frame supported on wheels for travel over a ground surface where the foundation frame includes first and second laterally spaced mounting beams fixed to and extending from a base. The implement is configured to perform an agricultural operation, to rest on the ground surface when in an idle position, and to attach to the foundation frame when in an operating position. The implement comprises a rigid implement portion configured to be attached to the first and second mounting beams at first and second beam locations remote from the base such that the first and second mounting beams are prevented from moving laterally with respect to each other.
