MOBILE DELIVERY SYSTEM AND SMART CAROUSEL DISPENSER
A mobile delivery apparatus is provided. Another aspect provides a software program used with a mobile delivery apparatus. Still another aspect includes a mobile delivery system utilizing a smart carousel dispenser. An aspect of the mobile delivery apparatus includes a delivery vehicle having a motor operable to drive terrestrial wheels of the delivery vehicle, a cargo box section, a carousel positioned in the cargo box section, and a plurality of storage bins positioned on the carousel. A further aspect includes at least one scanner positioned adjacent a first access door and configured to scan the bins and the parcels held in the bins as the carousel rotates. Yet another aspect employs a controller to rotate the carousel and selectively align one or more of the storage bins with a second access door.
PACKAGE SORTING PLATFORM SENSORY SYSTEM
A method for controlling a package delivery sorting system onboard a vehicle includes loading, onboard a package sorting platform, a first package comprising a first fiducial marker, the package sorting platform disposed in a cargo hold of the package delivery vehicle, determining, via a processor, a package identity based on the first, fiducial marker, determining, via the processor and based on the fiducial marker, a first package pose comprising a first package position and a first package orientation with respect to the package sorting platform, defining, via the processor, a first package geometry associated with the first package, and causing the sorting platform to position the first package, via the processor, to a second first package pose.
DELIVERY SYSTEM
A delivery vehicle is configured to be able to deliver a package in front of a front door of a dwelling unit in a complex housing including a shared door with automatic lock function that is able to be opened as unlock information is input to an unlock input unit of an entrance via wireless communication. When the delivery vehicle arrives at the complex housing including the shared door with automatic lock function, and a delivery instruction for leaving the package in front of the front door is made, an on-board unit of the delivery vehicle inputs the unlock information to the unlock input unit via the wireless communication, and notifies a terminal device of a user of input date and time.
Secure, Movable Vending Structure
A portable vending structure comprising: exterior walls, a roof and a floor all defining a main structure; at least one transaction window defined in a wall; at least one ATM mounted in a wall; at least one sign removably mounted at an upper edge of a wall; a safe room defined within the structure with heightened physical security features including a secure entry door; electronic systems including at least one camera, an interact connection, at least one point of sale system, and at least one power distribution system. The structure may include a second floor removably mounted: on top of the main structure, the second floor serving as a customer lounge for consuming products vended on the main floor. The second floor preferably includes a vent means for venting fumes from the second floor comprising either floor grates up through which at least one fan blows air or a vent hood with a powered fan drawing fumes up and away from the second floor.
TRANSPORT SYSTEM, TRANSPORT CONTROL METHOD, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
A transport system includes: a first moving body that is configured to transport a transport object by autonomous ground travel; a second moving body that is configured to transport the first moving body by autonomous travel; a memory; and a processor coupled to the memory and that is configured to: set delivery routes for each of the first moving body and the second moving body; stow the first moving body travelling in the first area in the second moving body at a boundary where the set delivery route switches from a first area to a second area more dirty than the first area; and cause the second moving body stowing the first moving body to travel in the second area.

Securable storage compartments
A vehicle includes a vehicle body and storage compartments that are located in the vehicle body. Each of the storage compartments has a cavity and a closure that selectively secures the cavity. A respective authorization input is associated with each of the storage compartments. The closure of each of the storage compartments is operable to unsecure the cavity upon receipt of the respective authorization input.
