MOBILE TRANSPORT SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DELIVERING ITEMS AND SERVICES
An apparatus and method for a mobile transport for delivering temperature-controlled contents includes a plurality of compartments coupled to a vehicle body where each compartment includes an interior space and a front panel defining a wall of the interior space. Each front panel is operable to open and reveal the interior space of its compartment in response to a predetermined condition. A temperature controller is configured to individually control a temperature setting within at least one of the plurality of compartments, and a germicidal controller is configured to provide a germicide to the interior space of each of the plurality of compartments. In operation, the mobile transport receives an order signal to pick up an item from a source, the order signal including the pickup location information, customer identification information, and delivery location information. After the item has been placed in the interior space of a compartment, the temperature controller sets the temperature setting for that compartment according to a type of the item. After arriving at the delivery location, the front panel of the compartment is opened in response to receiving an open request signal satisfying the predetermined condition, the open request signal including information relating to the customer identification information.
Divider panel systems and methods for their manufacturing and installation
In an illustrative embodiment, a panel assembly for partitioning a trailer cargo space is provided including a first insulated panel and a second insulated panel, each insulated panel including a first side vertical edge having a connecting edge, and a second side vertical edge having a connecting edge. One of the insulated panels includes one or more spaced apart vertical cut lines proximate the first side vertical edge, where, when a given cut line is cleaved, the cleaved cut line is configured to form a new second side vertical edge having a connecting edge. A first mating extrusion may secure with a second side vertical edge of the first insulated panel, and a second mating extrusion may secure with a first side vertical edge of the second insulated panel where, upon mating the first and second mating extrusions, an insulated wall is formed.
CONTAINER AND AUTOMOBILE
A cool box includes: a first temperature holding chamberthat stores a first object to be cooled, a first cold insulator temperature, and a first indoor electricity generator that generates electricity on the basis of a difference between the temperatures of the first object to be cooledand the first cold insulator and holds the temperature of the first object to be cooled; a second temperature holding chamberthat stores a second object to be cooled, a second cold insulator temperature, and a second indoor electricity generatorthat generates electricity on the basis of a difference between the temperatures of the second object to be cooledand the second cold insulator and holds the temperature of the second object to be cooled; and an intra-chamber electricity generatorthat generates electricity on the basis of a difference between the temperatures of the first temperature holding chamberand the second temperature holding chamber .
Vehicle having divisible trunk for separately heating and cooling divided trunk compartments based on object recognition
A vehicle includes a divisible trunk defining an enclosure for storing a first object and a second object, a camera to capture first and second images of the first and second objects prior to being placed into the divisible trunk and a processor to execute a machine-vision module to process first and second image data to identify the first and second objects. The vehicle includes a trunk divider to divide the trunk into first and second trunk compartments and an actuator to displace the trunk divider from an inoperative position to an operative position. The processor outputs a divider signal to the actuator to displace the divider to divide the trunk into the first and second trunk compartments. The processor outputs a thermal control signal to a thermal controller to control first and second temperatures of the first and second trunk compartments by setting first and second setpoint temperatures.
Temperature-Controlled Delivery Vehicle
In some embodiments, systems, apparatuses and methods are provided herein useful to temperature-controlled delivery of items. A conveyor mechanism disposed within a temperature-controlled compartment of a delivery vehicle can provide easy access to items within the compartment. In some embodiments, the conveyor mechanism can be operated by a control circuit to convey items within the compartment to position the items adjacent to the access door according to various inputs
Transport refrigeration system and a CAN ID distributing method for the transport refrigeration system
A transportation refrigeration system and a CAN ID allocation method for a transportation refrigeration system. The transportation refrigeration system includes: a refrigeration circuit including a compressor, a condenser, and a plurality of evaporators connected in parallel, all of which are connected to form a loop; a plurality of chambers, each of the evaporators being located in one of the chambers to adjust the chamber; a plurality of sensors of the same type, each of the sensors being installed in one of the chambers respectively; and a control unit, after being installed in place and energized, the plurality of sensors send their own identification codes to the control unit, and the control unit allocates a CAN ID to each of the sensors after receiving the identification codes of the sensors, so that the identification code of each sensor is bound to the corresponding CAN ID respectively.
TEMPERATURE-CONTROLLED RECEIVING TUNNEL

A main body includes an interior compartment and a set of adjustable bulkheads configured to create a set of temperature-controlled zones within the interior compartment. A set of cooling devices are configured to adjust an internal temperature of the set of temperature-controlled zones within the interior compartment. A control device analyzes dynamic truck delivery data and ambient temperature data to generate a predicted cooling time and a cooling initiation time. The predicted cooling time comprises an estimated quantity of time after the cooling initiation time to reach a target temperature within a selected zone in the set of temperature-controlled zones.
TRANSPORTABLE REFRIGERATED CONTAINER AND METHOD OF DISTRIBUTION OF PERISHABLE GOODS
A transportable refrigerated container has an interior chamber sub-divided into separate compartments by movable partitions that allow free air circulation to maintain the compartments at the same temperature and a plurality of security doors in at least one of the sides of the container, each door affording access only to a selected respective compartment or group of compartments. A method of distributing perishable goods from a supply depot to a plurality of customers utilizes such a container. At the supply depot, goods for different customers are loaded into separate compartments and the container is then transported to a location convenient to all the customers. There, delivery drivers who can each only open a door leading to a compartment containing goods intended for a specific customer, transfer the goods from the compartment onto a smaller vehicle and deliver them to their respective customer.
