The invention relates to a light element of a vehicle with at least one light source configured to emit light rays, a reflective layer. With a pattern made wholly or partly in the reflective layer. The light element further including an optical element configured to project the light rays from the at least one light source towards the reflective layer. With a dark layer extending along the optical element on the side opposite the reflective layer.
VEHICLE LIGHTING DEVICE WHEREIN A LIGHT GUIDE SUPPORTS ANOTHER LIGHT GUIDE
The present invention relates to a vehicle lighting device including a first light guide and a second light guide each adapted to emit at least a part of a lighting function. The first light guide has a main light guide part, a fixing part fixing the main part to the second light guide and extending between the main part and the second guide so that one of the guides supports the other one in said lighting device.
METHOD FOR REMOVING A LIGHTING ASSEMBLY FROM A VEHICLE
A removable lighting assembly for a vehicle is described, comprising: a frame removably mounted on the vehicle, a first lens configured to refract a first light ray incident thereon outside the lighting assembly, and an optical assembly configured to deflect a second light ray from a source arranged outside said frame and to generate the first light ray; said first lens and said optical assembly are fixed to the frame and are removable integrally to said frame from said vehicle.
Dynamic object detection indicator system for an automated vehicle
A system includes a tracking system, a controller-circuit, and a device. The tracking system is configured to detect and track an object, and includes one or more of a computer vision system, a radar system, and a LIDAR system. The controller-circuit is disposed in a host vehicle, and is configured to receive detection signals from the tracking system, process the detection signals, determine, whether an object is detected based on the processed detecting signals, and in accordance with a determination that an object is detected, output command signals. The device is adapted to be mounted to the host vehicle, and is configured to receive the command signals and thereby provide a dynamic visual indication adapted to change in accordance with orientation changes between the host vehicle and the object. The dynamic visual indication is viewable from outside of the host vehicle.
Architecture and method for aircraft lighting system using a centrally located red, green, and blue (RGB) light source subsystem and a plurality of distributed passive light-heads
Systems and methods for an aircraft lighting system (ALS) are provided. The method includes co-locating a central light source subsystem including a blue light generator, red light generator, and green light generator, and a light generating control unit (LGCU) comprising a processor, and distributing a plurality of passive light-heads around an external surface of the aircraft. Each passive light-head of the plurality of passive light-heads is operationally coupled to a first side of a respective light switch of a respective plurality of light switches, the light switch being coupled on a second side to a light emitting output of the central light source subsystem. Controlling and actuating the light generators and the light switches in accordance with a load profile is performed by a light generating control unit (LGCU).
Covering devices for use with vehicle parts
A covering device for fully or partially covering one or more of a recess, a flat portion, a curved portion, and a stepped portion of at least one of a vehicle body component and a vehicle part includes a cover element provided by a strip element or a cap element, and at least one lip element which is fixedly or detachably connected to the cover element on at least one of its longitudinal sides, the covering device is designed so that light from a lighting device can shine through at least a portion of the covering device, at least one of the cover element and the at least one lip element is made at least partly of a polymeric substrate which is coated with a chromium-based reflective coating material, and the polymeric substrate and the chromium-based reflective coating are at least partially translucent.
Vehicle warning lamp
A vehicle warning lamp is provided, including: a base, including a receiving room, the receiving room extending in an axial direction; a light-emitting module, disposed within the receiving room, the light-emitting module including at least one light-emitting member; and a light guide, including a first side and a second side opposite to each other, the second side facing toward the light-emitting module, the first side including a first diffuser, the light-emitting module being located within an axial projection area of the first diffuser, the second side including at least one inclined portion and at least one plane portion, the at least one plane portion being perpendicular to the axial direction, each of the at least one inclined portion including a second diffuser which is located outside the axial projection area of the first diffuser.
HEAD-UP DISPLAY DEVICE AND HEAD-UP DISPLAY SYSTEM
A head-up display device is provided in a vehicle together with a headlamp. The head-up display device includes a light source, a control unit, and a projection unit. The light source emits white light whose correlated color temperature is changeable. The control unit adjusts the correlated color temperature of the white light emitted from the light source. The projection unit forms image light by the white light emitted from the light source. The projection unit projects the image light onto a projection target member disposed in front of a driver of the vehicle, thereby displaying a virtual image superimposed on a landscape for the driver. The control unit adjusts the correlated color temperature of the white light emitted from the light source in accordance with a correlated color temperature of irradiation light emitted from the headlamp.
Vehicle lamp structure having a housing with a light diffusion unit, a cover unit, and a light guide
A vehicle lamp structure includes a housing located at the side of a vehicle and a lamp assembly located inside the housing. The lamp assembly includes a bezel fixed to the housing and a light diffusion unit located at the bezel. The light diffusion unit includes at least two surfaces and a light guide located inside the light diffusion unit. The light guide includes at least two optic surfaces configured to reflect light introduced thereinto. The lamp assembly also includes a light irradiation unit fastened to the light guide and being configured to irradiate light along the light guide.
Light system for supplying light
